mejores muralistas de México se narran
en este trabajo fílmico, que muestra diferentes facetas que afectaron algunos aspectos en la vida de Diego, autor de obras
como Sueño de una tarde dominical en la
Alameda Central, Desnudo con alcatraces y
El hombre en una encrucijada. Fue galardonado en 1950 con el Premio Nacional de
Artes Plásticas y sus últimos años estuvieron marcados por su controversial matrimonio con la pintora Frida Kahlo.

Diego Rivera was born in December, 1886, in
Guanajuato, and is considered one of the
most important artists worldwide, due to his
work and to his political and personal life.
The passions, satisfactions and recognitions
that led him to be one of the best Mexican
muralists are shown in this film work, that
shows different phases that affected some
aspects of his life. Being the author of works
as Sunday evening dream at the Central
Park, Naked with gannets, and The man in a
cross-road, he was bestowed in 1950 with
the Plastic Arts National Award, and his last
years were marked by his controversial marriage with painter Frida Kahlo.

Frida Kahlo, conocida por una vida marcada por la soledad y múltiples problemas
de salud, fue famosa por la creación de
sus autorretratos (Mi nana y yo, Mi nacimiento y La columna rota) y por ser una de
las pintoras mexicanas más sobresalientes
de su época.
A través de su biografía y su contexto social, se puede comprender el talento artístico de Frida. Además, el documental relata
de dónde surgió su pasión por la pintura,
su relación con el muralista Diego Rivera y
describe algunos aspectos fundamentales
de su personalidad indisociable de la pintura, llena de inspiración, dolor y gozo.

by solitude and multiple health problems,
became famous since the creation of her
self-portraits (My Nanny and Me, My Birth
and The broken Spine) and for being one
the most outstanding painters of her time.
Through her biography and social context it
is possible to understand Frida’s artistic talent. Besides, the documentary tells where
did her passion for painting was born, her
relationship with muralist Diego Rivera and
describes some fundamental aspects of her
personality, inseparable of painting, full of inspiration, pain and pleasure.

Also known as la Doña, María Félix is internationally recognized as the biggest diva of
Mexico’s Golden Age Cinema. Her versatility
helped her in obtaining the Ariel award three
times, The Silver Goddess for her work abroad,
as well as multiple tributes for her trajectory.

Juan Rulfo es una de las figuras más destacadas de la literatura contemporánea del
siglo xx. Nacido el 16 de mayo de 1917,
sintió gran afinidad por la lectura, pero es
hasta 1945 que empezó a publicar sus
primeros cuentos. El llano en llamas (una
de las obras más importantes de Latinoamérica) y Pedro Páramo, son consideradas
sus obras más significativas debido a que
le otorgaron fama mundial.

Juan Rulfo is one of the most distinguished
figures of the 20th century literature. He was
born in May 16th, 1917, and he felt great
sympathy for reading, but it is until 1945
that he began to publish his first short stories. El llano en llamas (one of the most important books of Latin America) and Pedro

works because they gave him fame around
the world.
La trayectoria de Rulfo destaca por recibir

This documentary shows the photographer
as a creator, an artist and describes why he is
considered the most important of our country. In 1995 he received the Photography
Golden Medal from the New York National
Arts Club, Leica’s Excellence Medal and the
Great Cross from Portugal’s Worth Order.

writer, receives only an extortion from the Chinese mafia
and a wedding invitation from the only girlfriend he ever
had, 30 years ago. Tired of his problems and eager to see
his old friends again, Marcos decides to drive across the
country to attend the wedding. However, little does he
know that Fernando, an 18-year-old delivery guy with opposite tastes and personality, will travel with him. Together,
they attempt to get to the wedding on time… and not kill

The Serdán Alatriste siblings organized the
armed movement in Puebla, on the Mexican
Revolution’s Eve. Carmen Serdán, agitator,
promoter and journalist, led groups of women in Puebla and served as a link between
the forces loyal to Francisco I. Madero in
San Antonio, Texas, and other rebel groups
headed by her brother Aquiles. She fired the
first gunshot in the Mexican Revolution and
raised the flag against Dictator Porfirio Díaz.
