Since the day of establishment, we, welding business have
manufactured and delivered welding materials and their
associated materials and equipment around the world
including Japan. Today, it contributes to social development
all over the world through its business activities as a leading
welding manufacturer in the world, having its group
businesses of 12 companies in Japan and 10 companies
outside Japan, including a new base in Tsingtao, China
where we start operation this year. We will further contribute
to society by providing outstanding technologies, products,
and services, while focusing on "Only-one products" and
"Manufacturing capabilities."
These activities make people's life affluent; however, they
have a considerable impact on the global environment. We
gain an appreciation of this fact, and emphasize environmental protection, while promoting our business activities in
harmony with environment.
We will be certified according to the environmental management system (ISO 14001/EA21) in every group manufacturing base in Japan this year. We will also focus on planning
and implementing energy saving measures towards CO2
emission reduction, limiting generation of waste, appropriately controlling chemical substances, developing products
with less environmental impact, environmental education for
our employees, etc.
We aim at establishing a group who acts in consideration of
legal compliance, environmental protection, local community, and even the entire globe, by raising our employees'
awareness of environment through these activities.

En cuanto a la emisión de sustancias químicas peligrosas, cada
una de nuestras plantas, calcula una cantidad de transferencia
hacia el medio ambiente (aire, superficie del agua, suelo) como
cantidad liberada y una cantidad de residuos, y reporta los
informes a la autoridad administrativa, una vez por año a partir de
abril de 2001.
Regarding the various hazardous chemical substances as objects,
each plant of our welding business figures out an amount of
transfer to the environment (air, water area, soil) as an amount
released and an amount of waste, and reports to the administrative
authority once per year from April, 2001.
