SOCIAL CONCERNS
The Poor Box for the month of August is for the St.
Bart’s Good Samaritan Fund, a fund for our fellow
people of the parish who have run into difficulties.
Sister Betsy Hartson RSCJ seeks gently-used and
working laptops with power adapters for Living
Wages, a nonprofit educational program for DC
residents age 25 and over seeking their high school
diplomas. If you can help, please leave your donation at
the rectory. Our parishioners have generously donated
to Sister Betsy's work in the past.
Share Mercy with People in Need - Catholic
Charities, the social service arm of the Church,
welcomes you, the Church, to share mercy by serving
people in need. Come make a difference in someone’s
life – and your own! Sign up for a one-time event or make
a bigger commitment: be a mentor to someone returning
from prison or welcome people arriving at a shelter for
the night. Get information and get started by visiting

VIGESIMO DOMINGO ORDINARIO
14 DE AGOSTO DE 2016
Cristo está de nuestra parte. No tengamos miedo. Abramos

redimidos.
