Product Description
The Flexible Therapy System (FTS) foam mattress replacement
offers pressure redistribution. The system comprises a visco elastic
top surface and polyurethane foam base layers encapsulating
individual air cells which are internally linked to each other.
Decontamination
To Clean The Cover
Wipe all exposed surfaces with a cloth which has been moistened in
simple detergent and water. Ensure to remove any organic debris
that may be adherent to the surfaces. Dry.
To Disinfect The Cover

For disinfection we recommend a chlorine-releasing agent such as
NaOCl or NaDCC diluted to 1,000 ppm (range may vary between
250 & 10,000 ppm depending on contamination status and local
policy).

Handles
FTS mattress replacement is indicated for users up to 227 kg
(500 lbs). Suitable for the prevention of pressure ulcers across a
wide range of patients including those with superficial ulcers as part
of an individualised plan of care.
These are guidelines only and should not replace clinical
experience or judgement. If there is no improvement in the
patient's condition, specialist advice should be sought.
WARNING
The cover of this product is vapour permeable but not air
permeable and may present a suffocation risk. It is the responsibility
of the care giver to ensure that the user can use this product safely.
Instructions for use
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Lay the FTS mattress replacement onto the bed frame,
ensuring that there are no sharp edges which may rip the cover.
DO NOT USE THE MATTRESS WITHOUT A COVER
It provides a protective barrier, which helps to extend the life of
the product.
3. Place the mattress onto the bed frame and ensure that the feet
printed on the top cover are located at the foot end of the bed.
For ultimate disposal of FTS products, we recommend the following
advice be followed. However, regardless of this, please ensure that
local regulations and, if applicable, healthcare facility standard
operating procedures are followed.

Foam cores suspected of contamination should be disposed of
as clinical waste.
•
Foam cores not suspected of contamination may be disposed
of through landfill waste.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Routine disinfection : 1,000 ppm.

Der FTS-Matratzenersatz ist für Personen bis zu 227 kg geeignet.
Als Teil eines individuellen Pflegeplans eignet er sich bei einem
breiten Patientenspektrum zur Prävention von Druckgeschwüren, so
auch für Patienten mit oberflächlichen Druckgeschwüren.
Hierbei handelt es sich lediglich um Empfehlungen, die die
klinische Diagnose oder Erfahrung nicht ersetzen können.
Wenden Sie sich an einen Spezialisten, wenn der Zustand des
Patienten sich nicht verbessert.

Schaumstoffkerne, bei denen eine Kontamination vermutet
wird, sollten als klinischer Abfall entsorgt werden.

Schaumstoffkerne, bei denen keine Kontamination vermutet
wird, können als Müll zur Geländeauffüllung entsorgt werden.

WARNUNG
Der
Bezug
dieses
Produkts
besteht
aus
wasserdampfdurchlässigem, allerdings nicht luftdurchlässigem
Material, so dass ein Erstickungsrisiko besteht. Es liegt in der
Verantwortung des zuständigen Pflegepersonals sicherzustellen,
dass der Benutzer dieses Produkt bedenkenlos anwenden kann.
Anwendungshinweise
1. Entfernen Sie jegliches Verpackungsmaterial.
2. Legen Sie den FTS-Matratzenersatz auf das Bettgestell und
vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine scharfen Kanten vorhanden
sind, die den Bezug beschädigen könnten.
VERWENDEN SIE DIE MATRATZE NICHT OHNE BEZUG
Der Bezug stellt unter anderem einen Schutz dar, der dazu
beiträgt, die Lebensdauer des Produkts zu verlängern.
3. Legen Sie die Matratze auf das Bettgestell und stellen Sie
sicher, dass sich die auf den Schonbezug aufgedruckten Füße
am Fußende des Bettes befinden.

Il materasso sostitutivo Flexible Therapy System (FTS) garantisce
la ridistribuzione della pressione. Il sistema è costituito da una

Il materasso sostitutivo FTS è indicato per pazienti con peso fino a
227 kg (500 lbs). Adatto alla prevenzione di piaghe da decubito in
un’ampia varietà di pazienti, inclusi quelli che presentano ulcere
superficiali in associazione al piano di cura individuale.
Queste sono soltanto indicazioni e non intendono sostituirsi in
alcun modo a un parere o a una valutazione clinica. Se le
condizioni del paziente non mostrano miglioramenti, richiedere il
parere di uno specialista.
Per smaltire i prodotti FTS, raccomandiamo di attenersi ai consigli

Istruzioni per l’uso
1. Rimuovere tutti i materiali di imballaggio.
2. Sistemare il materasso sostitutivo FTS sulla struttura del letto,
assicurandosi che non ci siano bordi o spigoli taglienti che
possano lacerarne il rivestimento.
NON UTILIZZARE IL MATERASSO SENZA RIVESTIMENTO
Questo fa da barriera protettiva, e aiuta a prolungare la vita
del prodotto.
3. Collocare il materasso sulla struttura del letto e assicurarsi che
la figura dei piedi stampata sul rivestimento superiore sia
collocata ai piedi del letto.

Het FTS matrasvervangend systeem is geschikt voor gebruikers tot
227 kg. Het systeem is ontwikkeld voor de preventie van decubitus
bij veel verschillende type cliënten en is ook te gebruiken als
onderdeel van een individueel behandelplan voor cliënten met
oppervlakkige ulcera.
Dit zijn slechts richtlijnen en kunnen nooit de ervaring en het
oordeel van een arts vervangen. Wanneer de toestand van de
cliënt niet verbetert, dient u een specialist te raadplegen.

1. Verwijder de volledige verpakking.
2. Leg het FTS matrasvervangend systeem op het bedframe en
zorg ervoor dat er geen scherpe randen aanwezig zijn waardoor
de hoes kan scheuren.
GEBRUIK DE MATRAS NIET ZONDER HOES
Deze biedt een beschermende laag die de levensduur van het
product verlengt.
De schuimrubberen kern en de hoes dienen regelmatig
geïnspecteerd te worden op tekenen van beschadiging of vervuiling.
