Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and
earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was
buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose
again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at
the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will
come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection
of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Estrofas:
1. Por tu inmensa gloria te alabamos, te bendecimos, te adoramos,
te glorificamos, te damos gracias, Señor Dios, Rey celestial.
(a Estrofa 2)
2. Dios Padre todopoderoso. Señor Hijo único, Jesucristo.
Señor Dios, Cordero de Dios, Hijo del Padre. (Estribillo)
3. Tú que quitas el pecado del mundo, ten piedad de nosotros;
(a Estrofa 4)
(Estribillo)
Salmo Responsorial
Nadie Te Ama Como Yo
1. Cuanto he esperado este momento,
cuánto he esperado que estuvieras así
cuanto he esperado que me hablaras,
cuanto he esperado que vinieras a mí.
Yo se bien lo que has vivido
se también porque has llorado.
Yo se bien lo que has sufrido,
pues de tu lado no me he ido.
Estribillo
2. Yo se bien lo que me dices,
aunque a veces no me hables.
Yo se bien lo que tu sientes,
aunque nunca lo compartes.
A tu lado he caminado,
junto a ti yo siempre he ido.
Aun a veces te he cargado,
Yo he sido tu mejor amigo.
Santo
Si tú quieres escucharme, cundo llamo a servir, te ayudará.
Estribillo:
nos has salvado, Señor. (BIS)

Estribillo

Is Francis too old to reform such an impenetrable institution as the Vatican? Seeing the recent example of his energy when he
visited the US, the press remarked that he is like the “energizer bunny”; he would go from major event to major event sometimes 5
in a day, and appear as fresh and as together as a much younger man. To the Vatican bureaucracy that signals “beware” – he is
moving out and reform is in the air. Less than a month after becoming Pope he created a council of 8 Cardinals who would advise
him and help him to undertake the reform. He told the press that he is always present at the meetings held every two months, but
that he does not speak, he listens. The Cardinals are from India, Germany, Congo, Australia, Honduras, Italy and the USA
[Cardinal Sean O’Malley of Boston]. Rather than selecting the “usual characters” from the Vatican, the center of Church
administration who have such a vested interest in maintaining the “status quo”, these 8 Cardinals [C8] speak from the periphery of
the Church with perspectives other than those of the Holy See –says Cardinal Rodriguez de Maradiaga of Tegucigalpa, Honduras
who chairs the C8. This reform is a work in progress and is as much involved with the periodic Synod of Bishops meetings in
Rome as with the internal day to day administration of the Vatican. As it unfolds it will certainly effect the way we do business in
the Catholic church; we have seen some hints of this in Francis’ recent reform of the annulment process, although it will take
some time to understand exactly what it means for day to day life in the Church. IHM pray for us, Fr. Jerry
Bergoglio VI

Ministering to children and young people is the heart of what Jesus calls His people
to do. The mission of the Safe Environment office is to assist the Church in creating
a safe haven for children, young people and vulnerable adults. The risk of child
abuse is greatly reduced by breaking the silence about abuse, especially sexual
abuse. Breaking the silence is a critical first step to begin the process of education,
prevention and healing. The Diocesan office of Victim’s Assistance offers a variety
of avenues for victims and family members to report their experiences to our Office
of Victim Assistance and to be welcomed, to receive pastoral care, and to learn
about and access much-needed services. Diocesan staff serving in the Office of
Victim Assistance believe that individuals and communities are best served through
a prompt response to requests for help, respectful listening, attention to their needs,
and services to help them in the healing process. If you, or someone you know
would like to report or seek help with an allegation of sexual misconduct by clergy
or diocesan employees, please contact the following:

llama a Su Gente hacer.
