INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
•
Conecte la unidad únicamente a un tomacorriente de fase sencilla con un voltaje que corresponda al
de la unidad.
Esta unidad cumple con los requerimientos de compatibilidad electromagnética en relación con la
interferencia con la radio y la televisión.
No deje la unidad encendida si va a salir de su hogar; asegúrese de apagarlo y desconectarlo.
Mantenga materiales combustibles tales como muebles, almohadas, tendidos de cama, papel, ropa,
cortina, etc., por lo menos a 1 metro de distancia de la unidad para evitar que puedan quemarse.
Si va a montarla en la pared asegúrese de no colocarla sobre materiales combustibles como
madera o superficies plásticas o sintéticas.
No cuelgue ni coloque ningún objeto frente o sobre la unidad.
Desconecte siempre la unidad cuando no la está usando. No desconecte la unidad halando del
cable, hágalo siempre del enchufe.
Mantenga las rejillas de ventilación de la unidad libres con por lo menos 1 metro de espacio hacia el
frente y 50 cm por detrás.
No permita que los niños o las mascotas jueguen con la unidad. Tenga en cuenta que el aire que
emite es bastante caliente (por encima de 80ºC).
No utilice la unidad en habitaciones con gases explosivos o mientras se utilizan solventes, barniz o
pegante.
No utilice la unidad para secar ropa.
Mantenga el calentador limpio. No permita que entren objetos dentro de la unidad o que se tapen
las rejillas de ventilación ya que esto puede causar choque eléctrico, fuego o dañar la unidad.
No intente reparar la unidad usted mismo. Remita toda revisión, mantenimiento y reparación a
personal de servicio técnico autorizado.
No utilice este calentador en habitaciones de menos de 4m2.

ATENCIÓN
No instale el calentador justo debajo de un tomacorriente.
No cubra el calentador ya que puede sobrecalentarse.
No utilice la unidad cerca de fuentes de agua como la ducha, el baño o una piscina.
Si el cable de poder está dañado no utilice la unidad. Haga que sea revisado por personal calificado.

Gire el termostato en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj, hasta que alcance la posición máxima.
Si solo desea ventilación (con aire frío) coloque el interruptor en la primera posición “ ”.
Para calefacción baja coloque el interruptor en la posición I (900 Vatios).
Para calefacción alta coloque el interruptor en la posición II (1800 Vatios).
Apague el calentador colocando el interruptor en la posición O.
Nota: El calentador no requiere una instalación en especial ya que se utiliza como artículo portátil.
REGULACIÓN DEL TERMOSTATO
Cuando la habitación haya alcanzado la temperatura deseada, gírelo en el sentido contrario de las
manecillas del reloj hasta el punto donde se apaga la unidad y no más allá. La temperatura fijada de
esta forma, se regulará automáticamente y se mantendrá estable gracias al termostato.

DISPOSITIVO DE SEGURIDAD
El calentador cuenta con un dispositivo de seguridad que apagará la unidad en caso de
sobrecalentamiento accidental, como por ejemplo, obstrucción en la entrada o salida de aire, motor
funcionando lentamente o detenido.
Para reiniciar la unidad, desconéctela del tomacorriente por unos minutos, remueva la causa del
problema y luego vuelva a conectar.

Limpie las rejillas de ventilación y la salida de aire con frecuencia.
No utilice líquidos abrasivos o solventes.

YOUR OWN SAFETY
1. Read all instructions before using the fan heater.
2. Only connect the fan heater to a single-phase socket with a main voltage as specified
on the rating plate.
3. This appliance meets the electromagnetic compatibility requirements specified in BN
55104/95 with regard to interference with radio and TV sets.
4. Do not leave your home while the appliance is in function: ensure that the switch is in
OFF(0) position and the thermostat is in minimum position. Always unplug the appliance.
5. Keep combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes,
curtains etc. at least 100cm away from the fan heater.
6. If wall mounted do not fix to combustible material such as wooden, synthetic or plastic
surfaces. Do not hang anything on or in front of the fan heater.
7. Always unplug the heater when not in use. Dot not pull the cord to unplug the heater.
8. Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects: at least 1 m in front and 50 cm behind
the heater.
9. Do not install the heater right below a socket.
10. Do not let animals or children touch or play with the fan heater. Pay attention! The air
outlet gets hot during operation (more than 80�, or 175 F ).
11. Do not cover. If covered, there is the risk of overheating.
12. Do not use this fan heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.
13. Do not use the fan heater in the rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable
solvents, varnish or glue.
14. If the cord of this appliance is damaged discontinue use of this product and contact
your retailer for further instructions.
15.Keep the fan heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause electric shock, or fire or damage to the heater.
INSTALLATION
The appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance.
Portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
OPERATION
- Turn the thermostat knob(right) in a clockwise direction until it reaches the maximum
setting.
- Summer service (ventilation only): turn the knob to setting
- Heating at reduced power: turn the knob(right) to setting �(900W).
- Heating at full power: turn the (right) to setting �(1800W).
- Switching off: turn the knob (left) to setting O.

REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the right thermostat knob
(where included). In an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the appliance
switches off and not beyond. The temperature fixed in this way will be automatically
regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.
Clean the air inlet / outlet grilles frequently.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
WARNINGS
- Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of showers, bath tubs, wash basins, swimming
pools, etc.
- Always use the heater in an upright position.
- Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles
(danger of overheating).
- The heater must be positioned at least 50cm from furniture or other objects.
- When the appliance is used in portable version, do not place it up against walls,
furniture, curtains, etc.
- The appliance must be installed so that the switches and other controls can not be
reached by persons using the bath tub or the shower.
- This appliance comes with a Y-type connection. Replacement of the feed cable must be
entrusted to a technician only, because such work requires special tools.
- The appliance must not be positioned directly underneath a fixed power point.
- Do not use the appliance while it is cooling down, in order to avoid overheating with the
attendant risk of fire.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4m2 area.
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of
accidental overheating (eg. Obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning
slowly or not at all).
To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of
overheating then plug the appliance in again.
