Every flower, shrub, and vegetable in your yard will be
stronger and look better with regular feeding.
ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food makes it easy to
give your plants the right combination of plant foods to
grow beautiful, lush foliage, lots of colorful flowers, and
baskets of delicious tomatoes, corn, and melons.
We’ve blended traditional and synthetic plant foods to
produce a unique fertilizer that provides nitrogen from
four different sources. We’ve added a mix of nutrients
that are available to plants quickly to help them get off
to a great start. We’ve added others that last longer to
keep on feeding steadily in your garden for up to six
weeks. ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food also
supplies extra minerals, so plants are never hungry for
these essential elements. ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose
Plant Food can be applied at planting time and every six
weeks throughout the growing season. It is ready to use
and does not need to be mixed with water.
HOW DO I USE THIS PRODUCT?
When planting a vegetable garden, flowerbed, or
hedge: Spread 1-1/2 cups of ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose
Plant Food evenly over each 50 sq. ft. (5' x 10') of area to
be planted. Mix it into the soil to a depth of 3-6 inches,
along with any compost or other soil amendments you
are adding.
For a single vegetable plant, for individual perennials or herbs, and for planting containers: Mix 1 tbsp.
of ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food into the soil at
the bottom of the planting hole before you set in the
plant.

When planting a single shrub: Mix 3 tablespoons of
ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food into the soil at the
bottom of the planting hole. Do not let the roots directly
touch the plant food. Feed again in about six weeks.
For established vegetable gardens and flower beds:
Spread 2/3 cup ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food
alongside every 25 feet of row. Keep the plant food at
least three inches away from the plants. Use 2/3 cup of
ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food for each 25 sq. ft.
(5' x 5'). Spread plant food around plants. Keep it off
leaves or wash it off with water.
For shrubs and ornamentals: Use 1-1/2 cups of
ULTRAGREEN® All Purpose Plant Food over each 50 sq.
ft. (5' x 10') of area. Spread plant food evenly over the
soil or mulch.
For a single shrub or bush: Use 2/3 cup ULTRAGREEN®
All Purpose Plant Food per plant for most shrubs. Use 1
cup for plants over 6 feet tall. Spread the fertilizer in a
ring around the bush, 6-12 inches from the trunk. For
larger specimens, spread at drip line.
After putting fertilizer down, scratch lightly into the
surface of the soil, where possible. Be careful not to
damage roots. Always water the plants and soil well,
after adding fertilizer.
Over-feeding tomatoes, peppers, melons, squash, and
flowers can give you fewer blooms and smaller fruit
with less flavor. So, don’t be tempted to “give it a little
more.”
One cup = approximately 1/2 pound
