SCHOOL NEWS
Mrs. Wyant, our Music teacher, and the students at Immaculate
Conception School are busy preparing for the Christmas musical
to be presented to school families and parishioners on Tuesday,
December 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the main church. There will also
be a dress rehearsal at 1:00 p.m. the same day if you prefer an
earlier time in the day. We invite you to attend!
SOMETHING GREAT JUST GOT BETTER! Taxpayers
contributed more than $9 million dollars to Arizona’s Catholic Tuition
Support Organization (CTSO) last year and provided tuition scholarships
for students in schools throughout the Diocese of Tucson.
YOUR 2015 CHRISTMAS
GIFT—52 WEEKS, $52.00
With Advent here, and our thoughts
turning to Christmas, it is easy for us
to miss the meaning of gift giving.
We give gifts to remember that God
gave the greatest gift. How we live in
the present is so often determined
on how we view the future. Choose
to make Christmas a valuable time.
Support the works of the Christ child
in your Parish.
II COLLECTION TODAY FOR
“THANK YOU, FATHER”
How do we thank our retired
Priests for the lifetime of service
they have given us? The
collection today will be for our
retired Priests and is a wonderful
way to say “Thank you, Father!”
Please think about the needs of
our retired Priests: they’re
responsible for all their own living
expenses and they have to make
ends meet on their Social
Security and the retirement
benefits they get from the
Diocese. We need to support this
special collection to better the
lives of our Retired Priests and to
thank them for their lifetime of
service.
II COLLECTION NEXT SUNDAY will be for the Christmas flowers.
Welcome to Immaculate Conception Parish

Conception Church and comply with the conditions as stated in your bulletin will receive this extraordinary blessing. The church of Immaculate Conception will be open
from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the whole year. The Rite of the Opening of the Holy Door
of Mercy will be at Immaculate Conception Church today, December 13 at 3:00 p.m.
All are welcome.
WHERE IS YOUR HEART?
Have you ever wondered what God wants from you?
We know this …
1. God is Here
2. God wants Us HERE … WE ARE CHOSEN
3. Immaculate Conception HAS BEEN CHOSEN
4. Something INCREDIBLE will HAPPEN
5. God is calling YOU to SERVE
Search inside YOUR HEART and SEE
What are your GIFTS?
Is
your call …. to PRAY
Is
your call … to SERVE
Is
your call … to WITNESS
Is
your call … to SHARE
We are all invited to discover WHERE IS YOUR HEART?
If GOD is calling YOU … to SERVE … please come and join us
COME FIND YOUR HEART AS GOD KNOWS IT

serving the Lord in our five different ministries, please come and join us on

Come and join us as we celebrate
“Las Posadas”
This Hispanic tradition is the reenactment of Mary and
Joseph in search of shelter as they prepare for the birth
of Jesus. The evening will be filled with singing by I.C.,
Religious Education Students. Many traditional Mexican
food dishes will be available for purchase.
This event will be held on Thursday, December 17. La Posada begins in front of
Immaculate Conception Church at 5:30 p.m. The procession journeys through nine
stations representing the nine months that Mary carried Jesus looking for shelter.
Musicians will accompany Mary and Joseph singing traditional Christmas hymns as
they make their way to Bethlehem. The final station where Mary and Joseph are
given shelter ends in Saint Anne’s hall with the placing of the baby Jesus in the
manger. For more information call Deacon Chavez at 580-1613.
Invites you to their
Traditional Kermess on
Sunday, December 13,
from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
at our Parish Ramada.
There will be a variety of
Mexican dishes and Live
Entertainment. Come and
enjoy this family
celebration.
