FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD
“In the Gospel of Matthew, our Lord says “For where two or three
are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
(Mt. 18:20)
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is blessed to serve the Lord in a beautiful sanctuary. Times arise when a smaller,
more intimate worship space would better serve the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton community.
The new multipurpose space offers a day chapel capable of comfortably seating 60 worshippers. This
chapel will host daily Mass, along with smaller weddings and funerals, so that all in attendance may
worship closer with each other and closer with the Lord.
Pope Francis declared this year to be the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. The spiritual works of mercy
instruct all Catholics to help all people grow in their faith. The chapel could also be opened to the many
worship groups that make St. Elizabeth Ann Seton strong in faith. Utilizing this chapel will each of these
groups to further grow in their faith in Christ.
Finally, a day chapel could offer members of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to nurture their faith through
perpetual adoration.
As St. Peter wrote in his second letter, “but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity” (2 Pet. 3:18), the blessing of a new chapel
would allow our family at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to bloom in our faith in Christ.
“Charismatic means we are coming closer to Jesus. In prayer group, when people know that God can change them, they
come closer to Him. Having a more intimate chapel will allow our prayer group to grow closer together and closer with
God. If we build our relationship with God, it will be easier to serve Him.”

“En el Evangelio de Mateo nuestro Señor nos dice “Pues donde están
dos o tres reunidos en mi Nombre, allí estoy yo, en medio de ellos”
(Mt. 18:20)
La parroquia de Santa Elizabeth Ann Seton es bendecida al poder darle culto a Dios en un santuario
hermoso. Surgen momentos en que un espacio puequeño e intimo para el culto y la adoración podría servir
mejor a esta comunidad.
El nuevo espacio de multiples fines ofrece una capilla capaz de acomodar 60 fieles. En esta capilla se
ofrecerá la Misa diaria, así como bodas y los funerales más pequeños, de manera que todos los asistentes
pueden adorar más cercan y estrechamente al Señor.
Papa Francisco declaró este año que El Año de Jubileo de la Misericordia. Las Obras Espirituales de
Misericordia instruir a todos los católicos para ayudar a todas las personas a crecer en su fe. La capilla
también podría ofrecer a los muchos grupos que fortalecen y rinden culto en St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. El uso
de esta capilla fortalecerá a estos grupos para seguir creciendo en su fe en Cristo.
Por último, una capilla podría ofrecer la oportunidad a los miembros de la Santa Elizabeth Ann Seton para
nutrir su fe a través de la adoración perpetua.
Como San Pedro escribió en su segunda carta, “Crezcan en la gracia y en el conocimiento de nuestro Señor
y Salvador Jesucristo. A Él la gloria ahora y hasta el día de la eternidad. Amén” (2da de Pedro 3:18)
“El ser carismático significa que nos estamos acercando a Jesús. En el grupo de oración, cuando la gente sabe que Dios
puede cambiarlos, ellos se acercan a Dios. Tener una capilla más íntima permitirá que nuestro grupo de oración crezca más
en unidad y más cerca con Dios. Si construimos nuestra relación con Dios, será fácil servirle.”
