Installation Instructions
1. Quite la Cabeza de la Regadera
Gire la cabeza de la regadera con unas llaves o pinzas ajustables, en sentido
contrario a las manecillas del reloj. Tenga cuidado de no desatornillar el brazo de
la regadera; sostenga el brazo de la regadera de forma segura. Nota: Si el brazo
de su regadera tiene una esfera en el extremo, no funcionará con este
equipo de regadera y necesitará reemplazarla con un montaje estándar
para brazo de regadera.
1. Remove Existing Shower Head
Remove the existing shower head with adjustable wrench or pliers. Use care not to
unscrew the shower arm; hold the shower arm secure. Note: If your shower arm
has a ball on the end of it, it will not work with this shower unit and will
need to be replaced with a standard shower arm.

2. Install Shower Mount
It is recommended to wrap plumber tape (not included) around the threads of the
shower arm only. Hand tighten the large end of the Shower Arm Mount onto the
exposed shower arm threads until tight. Do not use a wrench or pliers. Adjust the
shower arm mount retaining nut, to either tighten or loosen as needed.

Installation with Vacuum Breaker Permanently Installed in Hose: Your hose
is equipped with a Vacuum Breaker, permanently installed in the end of the hose that
has a ribbed nut. Seat washer firmly into the ribbed hose nut. Hand tighten the
ribbed nut to the Shower Arm Mount outlet. Do not use a wrench or pliers.
If you attach the ribbed nut to the hand shower, the Vacuum Breaker
will not function.
Note: A Vacuum Breaker is a device that is required by certain code authorities to
protect your community’s water supply from the back-flow of water. The Vacuum
Breaker usually discharges a small amount of water each time you turn on your
shower. It may also drain water when you shut it off. Both are normal
conditions - the water is draining, not leaking.
DO NOT TRY TO TIGHTEN OR REMOVE THE VACUUM BREAKER which is
permanently installed into the hose. This could cause damage to the hose.

4. Connect Tapered End of Hose to Hand Shower

Remove the yellow tape from the end of the hose that screws onto the hand shower.
Seat washer firmly into the Hose nut. Carefully align the threads of the tapered end
of the Hose directly to the Hand Shower. Hand tighten - do not use a wrench or
pliers. Then place the Hand Shower into the Shower Arm Mount. Rotate the Shower
Arm Mount into desired position, and tighten the retaining nut, to hold the Hand
Shower.
*WARNING: Plumbing Codes require that shower heads and hand showers provide a small but continuous flow
of water (trickle) when in “PAUSE” mode. Because of this continuous flow, in certain circumstances pressure
variations in the water line and /or changes in the position of the shower temperature control handle while in
“PAUSE” mode could result in dramatic changes to the temperature of the water when the shower head or hand
shower is returned to the “ON” position.
ALWAYS point the shower head away from yourself when returning to the “ON” position and feel the water with
your hand before resuming your shower to ensure the water flow is not too hot or too cold. DO NOT allow
children or others who might not understand this warning to use the “PAUSE” function.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary where you reside.
If this product malfunctions or becomes damaged, stop use and return it to Alsons for examination
and/or repair.

3. Conecte Manga para Regar el Monte de Brazo
Instalación con interruptor de vacío: Si su regadera está equipada con un
interruptor de vacio, estará instalado en el extremo de la manguera que tiene una
tuerca estriada. Apriete a mano la tuerca estriada en el sentido de las
manecillas del reloj en la salida de la montura del brazo de la regadera. No use
herramientas ni pinzas. Si atornilla la tuerca estriada a la regadera de
mano, el Interruptor de Vacío no funcionará.
Nota: Un interruptor de vacío es un dispositivo que es requerido por ciertas
autoridades para proteger el suministro de agua de su comunidad contra el reflujo
del agua. Este interruptor de vacío generalmente descarga una pequeña cantidad
de agua cuando abre la llave de la regadera por primera vez. También podría drenar
agua cuando la cierra. Ambas son condiciones normales, el agua está drenando,
no fugándose. NO INTENTE APRETAR EL INTERRUPTOR DE VACÍO que ya se
encuentra instalado en la manguera. Esto puede ocasionar daño al mecanismo.
4. Conecte el Extremo Co Conico de la Manguera al la Regadera Manual
Quite la cinta amarilla del extremo de la manguera que se atornilla a la regadera
de mano. Coloque la rondana, si se incluye, firmemente dentro de la tuerca de la
manguera. Con cuiado, alinee la rosca del extremo cónico de la manguera
directamente con la regadera manual. Apriete manualmente, no utilice llave ni
pinzas. Después coloque la regadera manual en el montaje del brazo para regadera.
Gire el montaje del brazo para regadera hasta encontrar la posición deseada para
sostener la regadera manual.
ADVERTENCIA: Los códigos de plomería requieren que las cabezas de regadera y las regaderas de mano
proporcionen un flujo pequeño pero continuo de agua (hilo de agua) cuando funcionan en el modo de “PAUSA”.
Debido al flujo continuo, en ciertas ocasiones las variaciones de presión en la tubería de agua y/o los cambios
de posición del asa de control de temperatura de la regadera mientras funciona en modo de “PAUSA” pueden
ocasionar cambios importantes de la temperatura del agua cuando la cabeza de la regadera o regadera manual
regresa a la posición de encendido “ON”.
SIEMPRE debe apuntar la cabeza de la regadera lejos de usted cuando la coloque nuevamente en la posición
“ON” y recomendamos que toque el agua con su mano antes de reanudar la ducha para asegurarse que el agua
no sale muy caliente ni muy fría. NO permita que los niños u otras personas que no entienden esta advertencia
usen la función de “PAUSA”.
