Here’s what you will need to know …
Must be 18 years or older
Must be employed for a minimum of one year or have
a qualified co-signer
Have not financed an auto loan in your name before
No derogatory credit history
Maximum loan amount is $18,000
Debt to income ratio not to exceed 40%
Maximum loan to value is 90% with a minimum of
10% cash down. Minimum cash down requirement is
not required when a qualified co-signer is provided.

Hudson River Teachers Federal Credit Union has

private loan solution offers significantly lower rates,
zero origination fees and more flexible repayment terms.

districts in Westchester and Rockland Counties, we have the

Helen H. Lindsey, Credit Union Board Member and Board

TREASURER, passed away on January 6, 2015. Helen spent her
management resources for young adults and a full-range
career as a Home Economics teacher. Helen spent many years
services to help develop and maintain good financial
at Hendrick Hudson High School. Helen was an active and
thousands of surcharge-free ATMs, first time car
passionate member of the local Peekskill Garden Club;
and bill pay are just a few of the services
she loved flowers and gardening. Her late Husband
available to our members.
Merritt Lindsey was the former Principal at
Lakeland High School.
Helen is survived by her son, Lawrence B.
Lindsey, PhD; a former member of the
Board of Governors of the Federal
Reserve System; her three
grandchildren Troy,Emily and
Tommy, as well as her sister,
Bitsey; she will be missed
by her many friends in the

Scholarship applications for the Harold E. Gloff Scholarship
are now available to prospective students who would like to be
considered for a $1,000 HRTFCU scholarship. We are very excited
about the success of our scholarship program and very pleased
to be awarding, once again, two $1,000 scholarships for the 20142015 school year. Applicants may pick up an application packet

• A graduating high school senior accepted as a full-time
student at an accredited two or four Year College or
