Before you build, please contact us.
The City of Brandon is actively promoting building safety
in all additional dwelling units within existing homes. If
you construct a dwelling unit without a permit, you could
be endangering your safety and the safety of your
tenants. The City of Brandon Planning & Building Safety
Department is here to assist you. There are requirements
applied to additional units/suites in the city. Proceeding
with the improvement without a building permit may be
subject to the City of Brandon Zoning By-law and the City
of Brandon Building By-law.
La Ciudad de Brandon promueve de manera activa la seguridad en la
construcción de viviendas adicionales dentro de una casa. Si usted
construye una vivienda adicional sin el permiso correspondiente, usted
pudiese estar poniendo en peligro su seguridad y la seguridad de sus
