Get Your Device Ready
Set Up Your Device
You must first install and charge the battery to begin setting up your device.
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Insert the battery by aligning the metal
contacts on the battery with the metal
contacts in the battery compartment.
Gently push down on the battery until it
clicks into place.
3. Press the cover gently back into place
until you hear a click.
4. Connect the adapter to the charger jack.
Ensure that the adapter is inserted with
the correct orientation. Do not force the
connector into the charger jack.
5. Connect the charger to a standard AC
wall outlet.
6. Disconnect the charger when the battery
is fully charged.
Powering On/Off
Make sure the battery is charged.
+ Press and hold the Power Key to turn on your phone.
+ To turn it off, press and hold the Power Key to open the options menu. Touch
Power off and then touch OK.
Unlocking Your Phone Screen & Keys
1. Press the Power Key to turn the screen on.
2. Touch and hold at the center of the screen.
Changing the System Language
1. Touch >
> >Settings > Language & input > Language.
2. Select the language you need.
Calling
Place a Call by Dialing
1. Touch
> .
2. In the dialer tab , enter the phone number with the on-screen keypad.
Touch
to delete wrong digits.
3. Touch the Phone icon below the keypad to dial.
Call a Contact
1. Touch
> and then touch the Contact tab .
2. Flick the screen up or down to view all your contacts with phone numbers.
3. Touch a contact or number to call it.
Contacts
Add a Contact
1. Touch
>
and touch the all contacts tab .
2. Touch to add a new contact.
3. Touch the account field on the top of the screen to choose where to
save the contact. If a sync account is selected, the contacts will be
synced automatically with your account online.
4. Enter the contact name, phone numbers, email addresses, and
other information.
5. Touch DONE to save the contact.
Messaging
Send a Text Message (SMS)
1. Touch
> >
at the bottom.
2. Touch the To field, and enter the recipient’s number or, if the recipient is stored in
People as a contact, the first letters of the recipient’s name. As matching contacts
appear, you can touch a suggested recipient.
3. Touch the Type to compose field, and enter the contents of your text message.
4. Touch .
Send a Multimedia Message (MMS)
1. On the Messaging screen, touch
at the bottom.
2. Enter the recipient and the text of the message, as you do when sending a
text message.
3. Touch
> Add subject to add a message subject.
4. Touch the paper clip icon
beside the message text box to open a menu where
you can select the kind of media file to attach to the message.
Pictures: Select a picture to add to your message.
Capture picture: Take a photo and add to your message.
Videos: Select a video clip to attach to your message.
Capture video: Shoot a video clip and add to your message.
Audio: Select an audio file to add to your message.
Record audio: Record an audio file and add to your message.
Slideshow: Edit a slideshow and add to your message.
Files: Select a file to add to your message.
People: Select a contact to add to your message as an attachment.
5. Touch
or Send.
Email
Add an Email Account
1. Touch >
> Email.
2. When you open Email for the first time, enter your email address and password
and then touch Next.
NOTE: Your phone will connect to the Internet and verify incoming and outgoing server settings before proceeding
to the next step. If the email service provider is not a popular one, you need to select the type of your account and
edit the settings for incoming and outgoing servers. Please contact your mobile service provider and email service
provider for more information.
3. Set the email checking frequency, download options, account name and other
settings. Touch Next when you finish. Your phone will show the inbox of the email
account and start to download email messages.
Compose and Send an Email
1. Open your email Inbox.
2. Touch
to open the compose screen.
3. If you have more than one email accounts added on the phone, touch the
sender line to select the account you want to use for sending the message.
4. Enter a contact name or email address in the To field. Separate each recipient
with a comma. You can also touch to select recipients from your contacts.
5. Enter the email subject and compose the email text.
6. Touch
> Attach file to add audio files, images, videos and other types of
files as attachment.
7. Touch
at the top right of the screen to send the message.
Download Mobile ID

1. From the main screen, touch > Get New ID Packs.
2. Touch on Boost ID.
3. Touch Install and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
4. Once your pack has completed downloading, it will automatically install and
appear as your current Mobile ID.
5. You can switch between Mobile ID packs installed on your phone by clicking on
ID at the bottom of the main screen.
Tip: Before you install Mobile ID, make
sure your device is activated, your battery
is fully charged, and you are in a network
coverage area.

Descarga de Mobile ID
Mobile ID ofrece las mejores aplicaciones para tu teléfono,
cuidadosamente escogidas por Boost, en el paquete fácil de
usar Boost ID: Facebook®, YouTube™, GPS y más. Mobile ID se
descarga e instala gratis.
1. Desde la pantalla principal, toca
> Obtener nuevos paquetes de ID.
2. Toca en Boost ID.
3. Toca Instalar y acepta los Términos y condiciones.
4. Una vez que el paquete se haya terminado de descargar, se instalará
automáticamente y aparecerá como tu Mobile ID.
5. Puedes pasarte de un paquete Mobile ID instalado a otro en tu teléfono haciendo
clic en ID en la parte inferior de la pantalla principal.
Consejo: Antes de instalar Mobile ID,
asegúrate que tu equipo esté activado,
la batería completamente cargada, y
que te encuentres dentro del área de

Mensajería
Envía un mensaje de texto (SMS)
1. Toca
> >
en la parte inferior.
2. Toca el campo Para e ingresa el número del destinatario o, si el destinatario está
almacenado en Personas como un contacto, las primeras letras del nombre del
destinatario. A medida que aparezcan los contactos que concuerdan, puedes tocar
alguno de los destinatarios sugeridos.
3. Toca el campo Teclea para escribir y escribe el contenido de tu mensaje de texto.
4. Toca .
Envía un mensaje multimedia (MMS)
1. En la pantalla Mensajería, toca
en la parte inferior.
2. Escribe el destinatario y el texto del mensaje, igual que cuando envías un mensaje
de texto.
3. Toca la tecla Menú > Agregar asunto para agregar un asunto al mensaje.
4. Toca el ícono clip
junto al cuadro de texto del mensaje para abrir el menú desde
donde podrás seleccionar el tipo de archivo multimedia que deseas adjuntar
al mensaje.
Imágenes: selecciona una imagen para adjuntarla a tu mensaje.
Tomar foto: toma una foto y adjúntala a tu mensaje.
Videos: selecciona un video clip para adjuntarlo a tu mensaje.
Grabar video: graba un video clip y adjúntalo a tu mensaje.
Audio: selecciona un archivo de audio para adjuntarlo a tu mensaje.
Grabar audio: graba un archivo de audio y adjúntalo a tu mensaje.
Presentación: edita una diapositiva y adjúntala a tu mensaje.
Archivos: selecciona un archivo para agregar tu mensaje.
Personas: selecciona un contacto para agregar tu mensaje como
documento adjunto.
5. Toca .
Correo electrónico
Agrega una cuenta de correo electrónico
1. Toca
> Correo electrónico.
2. Cuando abres el Correo electrónico por primera vez, escribe tu dirección de
correo electrónico y contraseña y luego toca Siguiente.
NOTA: Tu teléfono se va a conectar a Internet y va a verificar los parámetros del servidor de entrada y salida antes
de continuar con el siguiente paso. Si el proveedor de servicios de Internet no es popular, deberás seleccionar el
tipo de tu cuenta y editar los parámetros de servidor de entrada y salida. Ponte en contacto con tu proveedor de
servicios de Internet y con el proveedor de servicios de correo electrónico para obtener más información.
3. Establece la frecuencia de consulta de correo electrónico, las opciones de
descarga, el nombre de la cuenta y otros parámetros. Toca Siguiente
cuando termines. Tu teléfono va a mostrar el buzón de entrada de la cuenta de
correo electrónico y a comenzar a descargar los mensajes de correo electrónico.
Escribe y envía correo electrónico
1. Abre el buzón de entrada de correo electrónico.
2. Toca
para abrir la pantalla para escribir.
3. Si tienes más de una cuenta de correo electrónico agregada en tu teléfono, toca la
línea del remitente para seleccionar la cuenta que quieres usar para enviar
el mensaje.
4. Escribe el nombre del contacto o la dirección de correo electrónico en el campo
Para. Separa cada destinatario con una coma. También puedes tocar para
seleccionar los destinatarios desde tus contactos.
5. Ingresa el asunto del correo electrónico y escribe el texto de tu correo electrónico.
6. Toca la
> Agregar archivo para adjuntar archivos de audio, imágenes, videos
y otros tipos de archivo.
7. Toca
en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla para enviar el mensaje.
Llamar
Por Medio De Marcación
1. Toca la tecla
> .
2. En la pestaña de marcar , escribe el número de teléfono con el teclado en
pantalla. Toca
para borrar los dígitos incorrectos.
3. Toca el ícono de teléfono abajo del teclado para marcar.
Para llamar a un contacto
1. Toca la tecla
> y luego toca la pestaña Contactos .
2. Desplaza la pantalla hacia arriba o hacia abajo para ver todos tus contactos que
tienen números de teléfono.
3. Toca un contacto o número para llamarlo.
Contactos
Agrega un contacto nuevo
1. Toca la tecla
>
y luego toca la pestaña Todos los contactos .
2. Toca para agregar un nuevo contacto.
3. Toca el campo Cuenta en la parte superior de la pantalla para elegir dónde
guardar el contacto. Si se selecciona una cuenta de sincronización,
los contactos se sincronizarán automáticamente con tu cuenta en línea.
4. Escribe el nombre del contacto, números de teléfono, correos
electrónicos y otra información.
5. Toca LISTO para guardar el contacto.
Prepara tu equipo
Configura tu equipo
Primero, debes instalar y cargar la batería para empezar a configurar tu equipo.
1. Quita la tapa.
2. Coloca la batería alineando los contactos
dorados de la batería con los del compartimento.
Presiona suavemente la batería hasta que se
escuche el sonido que indica que está en su lugar.
3. Presiona la tapa suavemente hasta que
escuches que quedó en su lugar.
4. Conecta el adaptador a la entrada del
mismo. Asegúrate de que el adaptador
esté colocado con la orientación
correcta. No fuerces el conector en la
entrada del cargador.
5. Conecta el cargador a un tomacorriente
normal de CA.
6. Desconecta el cargador cuando la
batería esté totalmente cargada.
Encendido/Apagado
Asegúrate de que la batería esté cargada.
+ Mantén presionando el botón de encendido para encender tu equipo.
+ Para apagarlo, mantén presionado el botón de encendido para ver el menú de
opciones. Selecciona Apagar y luego toca Aceptar.
Para Desbloquear La Pantalla De Tu Teléfono Y Las Teclas
1. Presiona la tecla de encendido para encender la pantalla.
2. Mantén presionando
en el centro de la pantalla.
Para Cambiar El Idioma Del Sistema
1. Toca la tecla
> > Configuración del sistema > Idioma e ingreso
de datos > Idioma.
2. Selecciona el idioma que necesites.
