2009-2010 urtean, berriro 4. Mailako ikasleei ebaluazio diagnostiko froga
egin zaie.
Emaitzak ezagutu eta aztertu ondoren, Hobekuntza plana diseinatu dugu
eta bai Klaustroak bai Eskola Kontseiluak onartu zuten.
Iaztik saiatzen ari gara Xarbot aldizkaria ez izatea uharte bat gure kurrikulunean baizik eta ikasle, irakasle eta gurasoen inplikazioarekin kurrikulunen
atal garrantzitsu bat bihurtzea.

El curso 2009-2010, de nuevo se les han pasado las pruebas de evaluación
diagnóstica al alumnado de 4º curso de primaria.
Una vez conocidos y analizados los resultados de dicha evaluación se presentó al Claustro y al Consejo Escolar el Plan de Mejora.
Desde el curso pasado estamos intentando que la revista Xarbot no sea
una isla en nuestro Currículo, sino que con la implicación del alumnado, el
profesorado y los padres y madres de la ikastola se convierta en una parte
importante de nuestro currículo.

UMANDI ESKOLA 2.0
Ikasturte hauetan Umandi Ikastolan aldaketak ematen ari dira, gehienbat teknologia berrien arloan.
Alde batetik, irakasleok prestakuntza ikastaroak burutzen ari gara eta beste aldetik, geletara hainbat
baliabide teknologiko iritsi zaizkigu: Arbela Digitala, Ikasle bakoitzeko ordenagailu bana, software
ezberdinak..... Hau dela eta, arlo ezberdinetan baliabide guzti hauen erabilera sustatzen ari gara:
informazioa bilatu, testuak digitalizatu, korreo elektronikoaren bidez harremanak bideratu...
Imagina dezakezue zer den 21 ordenagailu batera piztuta izatea eta bakoitza bere arazo, blokeo eta
abarrekin... HAU EROMENA!

LEARNING ENGLISH IN ORIO
On 7th March we went to a small village called Orio. It’s near Donostia at the seaside. We left Vitoria
at ten o’clock. We arrived by bus with another school named Ramon Bajo. We stayed in Txurruka
hostel.
Our teachers’ names were Miley, Hannah, Liam, Dave, Betsy, Arthur, Gingger, Daisy and Joe the
director.
On the first day we felt a little bit nervous because it was the first time we went there.
There were different countries: England, Ireland, Canada, U.S.A, New Zeland, Australia and South
Africa.
On Monday we were scientists.
Oceania learnt about invertebrates and they made a wormery. America learnt about all the diferents
parts of the volcanoes and they made a volcano. Europe learnt about the planets in our solar system
and they made a solar eclipse. South Africa learnt about recycling and they made paper.
In the evening we played the pegs game and South Africa won with 74 points.
It was fantastic!
On Tuesday we were artists.
First we learnt about our continents. After snack we went to a hill to draw a wonderful landscape.
Then we saw the sea, the mountains, a peninsula, a boat and the mouse of Getaria (an island).
Then we did a presentation. When we finished the presentation we danced the national dance in
our countries.
After dinner we sang in the karaoke. Ireland were the winners. New Zealand, Australia and South
Africa were the 2nd and Canada the 3rd
On Wednesday we were cooks.
In the morning we learned about the food pyramid. After lunch we made our recipes :chocolate chip
cookies,lemonade, jelly, fruit skewers and oreos cake. They were delicious!
At night activity we had a tv quiz. We had to answer questions about food. England were 3rd , Australia were 2nd and New Zealand were the winners.
On Thursday we were Olympians.
In the morning we learnt about all the different sports and their rules. Then we went outside to take
part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. Our first competition was the obstacles race.
Our next competition was the relay race were we sprinted with a baton. After lunch we played the
seven rounds. We played two basketball games, two hockey games and two football games. We
also played one game of knock out.
After snack we went to the dining room to play the flag game. Australia won the
bronze medal, England won the silver medal and South Africa and Ireland won the gold medal !!
For night activity we had the disco. We danced and sang a lot. We had lots of fun !!

On Friday we were bloggers.
We learnt the parts of a computer. We had rice and chicken for lunch. After lunch we had free time.
At 2:30 we went back to Vitoria by bus. When we arrived at school some of our parents were there
waiting for us.
We were very happy ! ! !
The weather was excellent ! The teachers were very nice with us.
We enjoyed a lot during that week.

The ant bear lives in Central and South America.
The ant bear has got very small eyes and a big and long
tail. Its body is brown and black .It has got a very small
tongue. This animal eats ants and small insects.
The ant bear can eat 140 ants in a minute .
The are 3 species : the shed bear , the ant bear and the
mammals ant bear .
The ant bear likes swimming.

Dear Ainara,
Hi! My name is Maitane, and I’m 11. I live in Vitoria, but I was born in china, on the 25th December
1999.
I live with my mum, my dad and my sister. My mum’s name is Clementina and she works in a supermarket. My dad’s name is Jose,
and he works in an office. My sister’s name is Amaia. She’s nineteen, and she is at university. I haven’t got any pets, because we
live in a flat, and my mum says that we will have a pet when we win
the lottery.
I’m on 6th grade at Umandi school in Vitoria, and I am the youngest
in the class, because I was born the lastest of my friends.
We are 21, ten boys and eleven girls, and for this reason, in carnival we can’t do a dance in pairs,
but sometimes, the teacher dance with us.
My favourite subject is art, because I enjoy painting, and I like doing manual things.
I also like playing instruments, especially the flute. Other freiends play other instruments,Gabriel,
for example, he play’s the chello, or Leire, she play’s the piano. I also like reading, I have a lot of
books, because I like it, and I read a book in one day.
My father gets angry when we buy a new book, because I finish it very quickly.
My best friend is Irantzu. She is very special for me, because we are friends since we
were at the nursery. For this reason, I can’t miss Irantzu’s birthday.

I like reading , singing , playing table-tennis and drawing.But what I really love is running. Running
is my passion and I am pretty good at it.

My school name is Umandi and it is big.I´m on the 6th grade and there are three classes: a,b and
c. I´m in 6th A.
We study English ,Maths,Science,Music,Spanish,Basque,P.E and Art. I don´t like Maths, but I like
Art and P.E. When we are in the music class, we play the flute.

I
APRENDIENDO A SER NIÑO, A SER NIÑA
Tanto los niños como las niñas se van dando cuenta de que pertenecen a un sexo y no al otro. Este es
el comienzo del proceso que conduce a la identidad sexual. De sentir que se pertenece a uno de los
dos sexos. ¡Ojo! No confundir con el proceso de aprender o sentir que hay cosas exclusivamente de
niños y otras exclusivamente de niñas. Eso es otra cosa. Además evitable y que la Educación Sexual
y “sexuada” no puede ignorar.
Aproximadamente hacia los dos años, la mayoría, aunque no sean capaces de decirlo, ya se autoclasifican como niño o niña. Pero lo curioso es que esa autoclasificación no está en función de lo que son,
sus hormonas, sus gónadas o sus genitales, sino en función de lo que parecen.
Un ejemplo, si se le pregunta a un niño de 3 años qué es, probablemente conteste que es niño, pero si
se le pregunta que qué sería si se le pone falda o unas coletas, entonces es probable que conteste que
niña. Lo que a estas edades un niño o una niña considera que le hace como tal, generalmente tiene que
ver con lo que se llama género. Es decir un constructo social que hace que unas cosas, juegos o formas
de vestir estén consideradas como propias de hombres y otras como propias de mujeres.
Al final de la primera infancia, a eso de los 6 años, ya casi todos se sienten algo, chico o chica, y ya saben sentírselo con independencia de sus gustos, sus juegos e incluso de sus genitales, lo que no quiere
decir que sea siempre tan sencillo o que esté exento de conflictos.
Como padres y madres procuraremos contribuir a que aprendan que su identidad se mantiene constante, pero por las mismas deberemos procurar que aprendan que el resto de cosas es más flexible. Es
decir, a que niños y niñas aprendan que los juegos, los trabajos, las formas de vestir... no son de chicos
o de chicas sino de quien quiera y que, por tanto, unos y otras, pueden hacer las mismas cosas.
Para llegar a este punto se necesita tiempo, de los 2 a los 6 años. Pero además, que a su alrededor
no se viva como problemático lo que no dejan de ser confusiones propias del momento evolutivo. Es
importante saber que es necesario ayudar a que los niños y las niñas aprendan, pero ¡sin agobiar! Una
cosa es ayudar y otra muy distinta es convertir en problema lo que no dejan de ser simples confusiones
propias del momento evolutivo.
Además en muchas otras ocasiones la confusión sólo está en la cabeza de la persona adulta. Un
ejemplo: no resulta extraño que a estas edades de las que estamos hablando haya niños o niñas que
prefieran los juegos o juguetes que para muchas personas puedan ser considerados propios del otro
sexo. Sin que esto además les suponga ningún conflicto en cuanto a su identidad. Saben perfectamente
catalogarse como niño o como niña.
El conflicto o la confusión, como hemos dicho, suele estar del lado de las personas adultas, que creen,
por ejemplo, que si compran una muñeca a su niño o un balón a su niña pueden estar contribuyendo a
liar la identidad sexual o a fomentar la orientación del deseo homosexual. ¡Nada más lejos de la realidad!
Una cosa es sentirse niño o niña y otra es la orientación del deseo, que no se manifiesta hasta la adolescencia y que, desde luego no está influenciada por los juguetes a estas edades. Así que lo mejor es
no intentar forzar nada. Por dos razones: porque no tiene sentido, cada cual es como es, y ¡encima!,
porque no conseguiríamos nada.

saiaren programa da, elkartasunaren sentsibilizazioa bultzatzeko helburu duena.
Lehen Hezkuntzako 3. mailako ikastolako
ikasleek parte hartu zuten programan, erabilitako jostailuak biltzen, eta geroago, guraso
eta irakasleen laguntzaz saltzen. Jostailuak
egoera onean zeuden, jakina.
Aurten lortutako dirua Tierra de Hombres
ONG-ri eman zitzaion, Marokon zapalduta
dauden hainbat neskari laguntzeko.
Informazio gehiago lortu nahi izanez gero,

orrialdean agertutako artikulua irakurri dezakezue.
Azoka txiki es un programa del servicio de
Juventud del Ayuntamiento de Vitoria- Gasteiz que promueve la sensibilización en la solidaridad.
Nuestro alumnado de 3º curso de Primaria
participó en dicho programa, recogiendo en
la ikastola juguetes usados en buen estado
y vendiéndolos posteriormente, con ayuda de
madres-padres y profesorado.
El dinero obtenido de dicha venta se entregó
este año a la ONG Tierra de hombres, y se invertirá en apoyar y ayudar a niñas explotadas
en Marruecos.

El serpol es una planta de la familia de las labiadas, perenne, de tallo bajo rastrero y hojas
opuestas lineales, con flores de color rosa. Se utiliza como remedio natural contra el catarro, así
