burdened with demands and expectations. When we love, we
sometimes seek love in return. Sometimes we allow our weaknesses
and needs to color how we love or taint love with conditions. Our

Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast
All are invited to the season opener of the Knights
sponsored Pancake Breakfast, held on the second
Sunday of the month with the the first of this season on
Sunday, Sept. 11, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Bring your appetite after Masses and enjoy pancakes,
scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy.
Faith Formation Classes (RE) Start in October
Sign up now for Faith Formation classes for Pre-school (4 yrs) through
12th grade. Wednesday classes start Oct. 5 and Sunday classes start Oct.

Presentation by Trent Horn is Sept. 14
All adults of the parish are invited to a presentation by noted Catholic
Answers apologist, Trent Horn, on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. in the Parish
Hall. Trent is an apostolate who is dedicated to explaining
and defending the Catholic faith. He specializes in teaching
Catholics how to graciously defend their faith with sound
arguments and persuasive communication techniques. He is
a regular guest on the radio program Catholic Answers Live, a
lecturer who speaks across the country on issues related to
the Catholic faith, and the author of dozens of articles,
booklets, and books about apologetics. Trent currently lives
Trent Horn
with his wife and son in San Diego.

Oklahoma Catholic Broadcasting, in affiliation
with Oklahoma Fellowship of Catholic Men, is proud to
announce the opening of another FM station, located in
Edmond, Oklahoma. The station, FM 100.9 KSMJ is now
operational. A blessing of the station by Archbishop Paul
S. Coakley will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 p.m.
at the station location at 700 S. Kelly. Look for the tall
200’ tower. All are welcome to attend.

40 Days for Life will be held Sept. 28 through Nov. 6, 6
a.m.-7 p.m., and is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision
to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and

MINISTERIO HISPANO HISPANIC MINISTRY
El Pasado Domingo 4 de Septiembre Cientos de miles de
personas se reunieron en la Plaza de San Pedro, donde el papa
Francisco canonizó a la Madre Teresa de Calcuta, la fundadora
de las Misioneras de la Caridad, la llamada madre de los pobres y
marginados de la sociedad.
La religiosa fue beatificada el 19 de octubre de 2003 por el
entonces papa Juan Pablo II. "Después de la debida
deliberación y oración frecuente para la asistencia
divina, y habiendo buscado el consejo de muchos de
nuestros hermanos en el episcopado, declaramos, a la
beata Teresa de Calcuta, Santa y la incluimos entre los
Santos, y decretamos que ha de ser venerada como tal
por toda la Iglesia", proclamó el Papa Francisco.
Después, durante la homilía, el pontífice habló de algunas
razones por las cuales Teresa de Calcuta fue elevada a los
altares. Explicó que a Dios le agrada toda obra de misericordia.
“Hoy entrego esta emblemática figura de mujer y de
consagrada a todo el mundo del voluntariado: que ella
sea su modelo de santidad”, dijo el Papa. El obispo de Roma
recordó como Santa Teresa de Calcuta se ponía a disposición de
todos por medio de la acogida y la defensa de la vida humana.
Al final de su mensaje, el pontífice hizo votos para que el modelo
de vida de Santa Teresa de Calcuta ayude a comprender que el
único criterio de acción de los cristianos es el amor gratuito,
libre de toda ideología y de todo vínculo, sin distinción de
lengua, cultura, raza o religión.
Formación para Adultos: El catolicismo es una forma
completa de vida. Pero hoy en día no es conocido. Muchas
personas que vienen a nuestras iglesias pueden conocer
diferentes aspectos de la fe Católica. Pero, ¿Cómo es que todo
se relaciona? ¿Y qué diferencia hace esto en nuestras vidas?
El curso, La Explicación de la Fe muestra el panorama general de la
fe Católica en una forma que nos ayuda a conocerla, vivirla y
explicarla a otros.
A través de una bella instrucción y videos profesionales, el
autor conferencista y teólogo Dr. Edward Sri conduce a un
grupo de maestros dinámicos que proporcionan una explicación
completa y simple de nuestra fe Católica.
Los invitamos a formar parte de esta gran experiencia, el cuso
inicia el 3 de Octubre y será impartido todos lunes de 5:30 a
7:00 p.m. en el salón de la Parroquia. Regístrese lo más pronto

Clase pre-bautismal: la clase pre-bautismal se llevara a cabo el
miércoles 27 de septiembre a las 6:00 p.m. en el salón St.
Agustín, después de la cena comenzaremos con la clase. para

Familias Para Cristo: : La familia es la célula de la sociedad
mientras que el matrimonio es la célula de la familia. Nosotros
creemos que si el matrimonio no marcha de acuerdo a los
designios de Dios, cada miembro de la familia sufre,
especialmente los hijos. Hoy en día, las estadísticas demuestran
un mayor porcentaje de divorcios y de matrimonios infelices e
insatisfechos. Los niños que nacen y crecen dentro de este
núcleo familiar disfuncional corren un mayor riesgo de
desarrollar adicciones peligrosas y de rodearse de malas
influencias cuando entran en la adolescencia. Familias para Cristo
ofrece platicas familiares y matrimoniales al igual que grupos de
apoyo o de compartimiento para cada miembro de la familia. En
estos grupos de apoyo, ellos podrán compartir con otras
personas que viven situaciones similares sus experiencias y
testimonios de vida. El grupo de Familias para Cristo se reune en
el salón de la Parroquia los días viernes a las 7 p.m.
Adoradores: Necesitamos urgentemente adoradores que se
postren ante Jesús para decirle cuánto lo aman, qué agradecidos
están de su misericordia, de su perdón, de su salvación. Que
estén dispuestos a reparar por todas las blasfemias, injurias,
indiferencias con las que Él es continuamente ofendido, y a
interceder por la salvación de todos aquellos que lo ofenden.
Debemos clamar al Señor por cada uno de nosotros y por la paz
del mundo entero. Rogar por nuestro Papa, por nuestra Iglesia,
por todos los sacerdotes, religiosas, religiosos y por el mismo
Pueblo de Dios.
Debemos estar dispuestos a ofrecer al Señor una hora a la
semana de nuestro tiempo (¡tan sólo 1 hora!) para transformarlo
