Un punt es el principio de una
línea/ A point is the beginning
of a line.
Un punt es el principio de una línea. Una línea
es una serie de punts dispuestos de una manera
continua en una dirección determinada. Bueno,
pues eso es Punt.
Los punts de Punt que han conformado la línea de
trabajo son muchos. Muchos punts son hallazgos o
encuentros, otros búsquedas y otros casualidades.
Unos punts son de dos dimensiones (como la
gráfica y las comunicaciones), otros son de tres
(como los muebles) y otros pertenecen a la cuarta
dimensión: son las personas, los diseñadores, los
clientes, los proveedores, los amigos y la gente
que trabajando hace posible esta historia.
Punt means point. A line is a series of points following
a certain direction through space. That is Punt.
The points from Punt that go to make up our
collection are practically infinite. Many of these
“punts” are happy encounters, happy discoveries;
others are still searches, seeking serendipity.
Some “punts” are in two dimensions (such as these
graphics and communications); others are in three
(such as our furniture) and others still pertain to
the fourth dimension, by which we mean people:
designers, clients, suppliers, friends and all the
people who make this story possible through their
individual efforts.

especialmente grandes o también objetos singulares. Un cuerpo
delantero móvil acoge la música, las imágenes o los pequeños
recuerdos. Su modularidad permite resolver desde pequeñas estanterías
a medianas o amplias composiciones.
In Literatura Light a back section can be used for storing books,
particularly coffee-table publications, and one-off works of art. The
mobile front unit takes care of all music needs, with space for photos,
souvenirs and what-have-you. Its modular design makes it fully adaptable
to smaller spaces or medium to larger compositions.

J Family es una serie de muebles de madera moldeada.
El taburete Jo es la pieza básica de la J Family y su
fabricación es sencilla/ J Family is a series of moulded
wooden furniture. The Jo stool is the basic element of
the J Family and is easy to manufacture.

Las tres patas de Jo están hechas de madera moldeada
en forma de j con un ángulo de 30˚. Existen seis puntos
de conexión: todas las patas están conectadas entre
sí y el asiento completa la estructura. Su estructura
hermética y sus patas en forma de j, cada una hecha de
contrachapado laminado, garantizan un taburete sólido
y robusto.
Jo’s three legs consist of j-shaped moulded wood cut at
a 30˚ angle. There are six connecting points: All the legs
are connected to one another and the seat top completes
the structure. The hermetic structure and the j-shaped
legs, each of which is made of a single piece of laminated
plywood, guarantee a highly robust and sturdy stool.

Los cabezales con lamas están formados por
dos paneles laterales y tantos paneles centrales
como necesitemos. La parte inferior de los
cabezales con lamas es lisa, para poder colocar
las mesitas y alojar los mecanismos eléctricos
sin necesidad de empotrarlos a la pared.
Los cabezales lisos son plataformas colgadas a

These slatted headboards are made up of
two side panels and as many central panels
as you need. The lower section of the slatted
headboards is smooth, for coupling the bedside
tables and housing the electrical fittings, which
don’t have to be channeled into the wall.
The smooth headboards are platforms that are
hung from the walls, coming in two heights.

Punt history
En Punt la historia comenzó con una cuna, corría
el año 1980… Después aparecieron estanterías
dobles sobre ruedas, sillas elegantes, muebles para
infinitas composiciones, mesas con faldas, muebles
de persianas para gente enrollada, perchas que
son esculturas, sillas que te acogen suavemente,
elementos de lamas superpuestas que esconden
cajones y puertas, sillas que se mueven con dos
dedos, muebles que con un simple toque se abren,
módulos con puntos de colores para intercambiar,
taburetes modernos sencillos y de colores, o lo
último, aparadores y cajoneras sutiles, armoniosas y
sofisticadas…
Punt produce y edita mobiliario y objetos para el hogar
y colectividades. Son diseños con identidad para
perdurar en el tiempo.
At Punt, history began with a creation of a cradle
back in 1980… Then came double bookcase units on
wheels, easy chairs, furniture for infinite compositions,
tables with skirts, chic storage units with Persian blinds
for the keen-sighted, sculpture-like hat racks, chairs
that hold you and enfold you, units with superimposed
slats hiding drawers and doors, chairs that move at
the touch of a finger, cabinets that open in the wink of
an eye, modules with coloured interchangeable dotpulls, simple modern stools in colours, and now the
dernier cri–sideboards and drawer units that are subtle,
harmonious and sophisticated…
Punt produces and issues designer furniture and
articles for the home and contract use. Designs with an
identity of their own. A lasting identity.

reconocimientos/ Recognition
through the years
Punt ha sido acogido y referenciado en muchos libros
y revistas, algunos de sus diseños han entrado en
museos como el Museum fur Angewandte Kunst de
Colonia (estantería Literatura), Staatliches Museum fur
Angwandte Kunst de Munchen (mesa Haley y Magic),
Museu d’Arts Decoratives de Barcelona (estantería
Literatura, serie Concert y sofá Nit i Día), Victoria
&Albert Museum de Londres (serie River) y Design
Museum de Londres (Serie River).
Ha recibido Selecciones y un Delta de Plata del ADI FAD,
premios de Nuevo Estilo, Sidi y Experimenta, Premios
Impiva y en 1997 el Premio Nacional de Diseño de España.
Punt has been featured and referenced in many books
and magazine over the years, and some designs have
found their way into museums such as the Museum für
Angewandte Kunst in Cologne (Literatura bookcase),
the Staatliches Museum für Angwandte Kunst in Munich
(Haley and Magic tables), the Museu d’Arts Decoratives
in Barcelona (Literatura bookcase, Concert series
and Nit i Día sofa), the Victoria and Albert Museum
in London (River series) and the Design Museum in
London (River series).
Punt has also received Selecciones awards and a Delta
de Plata from ADI FAD, and awards from the home
decoration magazine Nuevo Estilo, the design magazine
Experimenta, and the SIDI Design Showcase. Punt has
won the Valencia SME’s Institute’s IMPIVA Awards and
took Spain’s National Design Award in 1997.

Punt ha colaborado con múltiples arquitectos en la
realización y equipamiento de proyectos. Punt ofrece
productos que se integran en la obra arquitectónica,
diseña y produce mobiliario lógico, formalmente claro
funcional y con sentido. Optimiza el espacio, desarrolla
productos polivalentes productos con calidad, que
responden al uso previsto.
Punt tiene equipo humano y técnico con capacidad para
proyectar, producir y equipar todo tipo de amueblamientos.
En Punt la filosofía ante el diseño es de procurar acudir
