AN EMMAUS
EXPERIENCE
A RETREAT FOR
WOMEN
APRIL 22 – 24
What is so great about making a retreat?
On a retreat you’ll be free from the
distraction of your daily routine.
With your whole self relaxed, you will be able
to open your heart and listen to Jesus
and the Holy Spirit. That is the deep
satisfaction, inner peace and joy you will find.
Take time out to make an Emmaus retreat. If
you haven’t registered yet, you still have time.
Registration after all Masses through
April 17. For more information, call
Tracey Fernandez 305-799-7147
or email [email protected].
"If you signed up to help with this years' Habitat
for Humanity project but have not yet been called,
please call Peter Glaria at 305-345-3596 if you would
still like to help out. There are still a few spots open for
volunteers and your help is needed and appreciated.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all from the
Cantillano family and the H4H Ministry."

PASTOR’S REFLECTION
Third Sunday of Easter
April 10, 2016
Dear Friends,
We are asked to live the unconditional love of God by how
we try to love others. The measure of our love is to love
without measure, like Jesus. How do I show love (service,
attentiveness to details of need in our neighbor beginning
with our family, forgiveness, patience, etc.)?
Be assured of my prayers for you and for your dear ones,
especially during this Easter Season. May the good Lord
bless you with wisdom and peace. Please pray for me.
In Christ,
Msgr. Pablo A. Navarro
HOMELESS MINISTRY
Our next outings will be on Saturday, April 16 and
Sunday, April 17. We are in need of volunteers and
hot food for both Saturday AND Sunday. This means
rice or pasta dishes with chicken or beef, ex. spaghetti
with meat, arroz con pollo and other casserole dishes with
meat. Meatballs from the frozen food section are easy to
cook and can be added to other dishes. Please bring these
in a disposable aluminum pan.
Hamburger soup, snacks, hard boiled eggs (cooked for
at least 10 minutes), canned sodas, cases of individual
water bottles, and individually wrapped sandwiches, i.e.
ham & cheese, turkey & cheese, or PB & J sandwiches
are always welcomed.
Please bring your food donations between 2:00 and
3:00PM to the church pavilion which is located between
the school and Resurrection Hall.
The group departs for the Miami Rescue Mission at
3:30 p.m. Come and share in this wonderful experience.
Children must be at least 14 years of age and must be
accompanied by a parent.
SJN feeds the homeless the third complete weekend of
every month. For more info, please contact Amanda La
Gra at 305-936-6281 or contact Alicia Speight at
[email protected]. Thank you.

What is that authority?
Who/what gives the authority?
What is our relationship with and our

What do we mean when we proclaim
“Jesus Christ is Lord?”

THE NEW WINE IS COMING
The New Wine is an eight-week course for married
couples who wish to invest time to enrich their
relationship. This is for newlyweds and those married
for many years, those with great marriages and those
that need a little refreshing.
There are 8 sessions, once a week from 7:30 p.m. to
10:00 p.m. and there is no cost involved. The course
helps couples to love each other in new ways, to
understand how family history effects how to relate to
one another and how to enjoy each others differences.
For further information and for registration call Pierre
and Teresa Etcheverry at 305-279-7119.

NOTICIAS DEL APOSTOLADO HISPANO
REFLEXIÓN DEL PÁRROCO
DOMINGO TERCERO DE PASCUA DE
RESURRECCIÓN
10 DE ABRIL DEL 2016
Queridos Amigos,
Palabra y a Su Plan divino. Por favor oren por mi.
Asegúrense que los tengo a ustedes y a sus seres
queridos en mis oraciones diarias, especialmente en
esta Temporada de Pascua de Resurrección.
En Cristo,
Mons. Pablo A. Navarro
