FINAL ANOUNCEMENT - James Steinocher
Scholarship - St. Anne Council Knights of
Columbus will award two $500 scholarships for the
Academic Year 2016-17. Selection will be made in
Spring 2016 and the scholarship awarded for AY
2016-17. Go to www.kc-11472.org for details and
an application form. Deadline for applications is

March 29, 2016 is FOUNDER’S DAY - the
134th Anniversary of the Knights. The Knights
of Columbus celebrates the founding of the Order
on March 29, 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney.
The St. Anne Knights of Columbus will celebrate
the International Knights of Columbus Day of the
Unborn Child on Sunday, Apr il 3rd by conducting
a Rosary prayer service after the 8:00 am Mass.
This is to commemorate the Feast of the
Annunciation, the most sublime moment in the
history of time. On the 25th day of March at the
hour of midnight, when the Most Holy Virgin was
alone and absorbed in prayer, the Archangel Gabriel
appeared before her and asked her, in the name of
the blessed Trinity, to consent to become the
Mother of God. Thus, it was at this moment when
the Second Divine Person of the most Holy Trinity
assumed human nature in the womb of the Virgin
Mary. The Day of the Unborn is a symbol of
commitment to building a culture that respects and
protects every life and to promote the cause of the
unborn child. The prayer service will take place at
the statue of Our Lady (in front of the Gym) from
9:15 – 9:45 a.m.
KofC monthly meeting will be held Monday,
April 4, 2016 in the Parish Hall. A light meal will
be provided at 6:30. Meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
