au cours d’une utilisation normale du produit. Cette garantie n’est valable qu’aux États-Unis d’Amérique et au Canada.
2. DURÉE DE LA GARANTIE. Emerald Innovations garantit que le Swivel Straight Stand sera exempt de tels défauts
aussi longtemps que l’acheteur d’origine possédera le Swivel Straight Stand. Emerald Innovations convient de réparer ou

4. CIRCONSTANCES RENDANT NULLE LA GARANTIE ET AUTRES LIMITATIONS.
(a) Emerald Innovations se réserve le droit de refuser de procéder à un remplace ment ou à une réparation en vertu de la
garantie lorsque le défaut est causé par un usage abusif, une mauvaise manipulation, une mauvaise application du produit,
ou par un accident, de la nègligence, une mauvaise installation, une modification du produit, l’utilisation de pièces ou
d’accessoires non autorisés, un ajustement ou une réparation réalisée par quiconque n’appartenant pas à Emerald Innovations ou à l’ensemble des agents agréés, ou lorsqu’il ne s’agit pas d’un défaut de fabrication ou de matériau, quelle que soit
la cause du défaut en question.
(b) Cette garantie limitée ne couvre pas l’abrasion, l’usage anormale, ni les dommages résultant de causes naturelles
(notamment ceux liés à un incendie, un tremblement de terre, etc.). Cette garantie est nulle et non avenue au cas où la
structure de Swivel Straight Stand est modefiée.
(c) Pour obtenir un service en vertu de cette garantie limitée, le propriétaire doit fournir une preuve de la date et du lieu de
l’achat, ainsi que du prox d’achat.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Before attaching the receptacle to the trunk, trim 1/4 to 1/2 inches off the bottom of the trunk
to allow the tree to absorb water. Remove any branches that are six to eight inches up from the
bottom of the trunk.
NOTE: If using your stand on an uncarpeted surface, flip the stand over and
twist the four rubber feet into the pilot
holes on the underside of the stand.
Place the stand on a flat, level surface.
Pull the foot pedal all the way out. Test
the pedal by pushing it down. If you cannot push the pedal down, it is not pulled
all the way out.

ASSEMBLING THE TRUNK RECEPTACLE
NOTE: Only three screw tips will be used for
the receptacle assembly.
STANDING UP YOUR TREE
SCREW TIP
Remove screw tips from the tightening tool.
Install each of the bolts on the receptacle by
screwing them into the holes at the top of the
receptacle about half way through the hole.
Place one screw tip into the tightening tool.
Position the tightening tool with screw tip
onto the end of the bolt. Once the screw tip is
positioned on the end of the bolt, tighten with
the tightening tool, turning clockwise. Begin
by screwing the bolt into the screw tip until
secure. Repeat for the other two screw tips.

TOOL
If you wish to turn the tree to a more attractive
side, you must lift the tree and turn it, then reinsert the trunk receptacle into the base.
NOTE: The trunk receptacle should NOT turn
freely in the base.
IMPORTANT TIP: Once the tree is positioned in the base, it is recommended that each bolt on the trunk receptacle be checked
for tightness.
We suggest you keep the tightening tool for future use.
ATTACHING THE TRUNK RECEPTACLE
Hold the bottom of the trunk receptacle with
one hand and slide it onto the tree trunk. Position the trunk receptacle so that the trunk of
the tree is wedged into the bottom of the trunk
receptacle. Insert the tree trunk as straight
and as deep as possible. Remove any branches
that interfere with the trunk receptacle.
IMPORTANT: Keep a firm hold on the
trunk receptacle, then wedge the trunk
against the bottom of the receptacle
while tightening each of the bolts a little
at a time, until the screw tips on each
bolt penetrate the tree and the receptacle
is firmly attached. When attaching the
receptacle to the tree trunk, the trunk
should be in the receptacle as deep as
possible with no branches interfering
with the top edge of the receptacle.
Position the tree so that the trunk receptacle
rests on the top edge of the base. Lift the top
of the tree to insert it into the base. It may
be necessary to twist the tree slightly to make
sure that the trunk receptacle is fully inserted
into the base.

Make sure the foot pedal is fully extended. Hold
the trunk firmly and depress the foot pedal to
swivel or adjust your tree until it is straight.
Release the foot pedal to lock the tree straight.
NOTE: DO NOT STEP ON THE FOOT PEDAL
WITHOUT FIRST, FIRMLY HOLDING THE
TREE TRUNK. FAILURE TO FIRMLY HOLD
THE TREE TRUNK WHILE STEPPING ON
THE FOOT PEDAL MAY CAUSE THE TREE
TO FALL!

using the amazing Swivel Straight® Christmas Tree Stand.
After the tree is straight, lift and slide the foot
pedal back into its storage compartment.
Before you decorate, you will want to water
your tree to keep it fresh.
NOTE: Larger diameter trees may need to be
tapered at the bottom to insure a proper fit.

Using a pitcher, fill your Swivel Straight® Stand with water, pouring into the top edge of the base.
If your stand is in a tilted position, pour water into the lowest point to avoid any overflow. Refer to
the chart below to estimate the amount of water the base will hold with your tree in it.

SOLUTION
When foot pedal is stuck.
Turn tree stand over and look exactly where the foot
pedal goes. You will see a piece that looks like a track;
this is pushed against a piece of plastic that is circular.
Take a small screw driver and place it in the small
pocket at the top of the triangular piece and push it
gently towards you. It will release the foot pedal.
Tree is loose – not secure.
Check the trunk taper (if any).
Check screws on trunk receptacle and tighten if
necessary.
Tree seems unstable in stand.
Make certain the trunk receptacle is fully seated into
the base.
Tree will not stand straight.
Carefully remove the tree with the trunk receptacle
from the base.
Make sure the tree trunk is centered in the trunk
receptacle and it is fully wedged against the bottom of
the trunk receptacle.
Water is not flowing into stand.
Check that the water receptacle is fully seated. Tree
may have stopped drawing water.

USING THE WATERING RECEPTACLE

You can supplement the need for watering during the holiday season by
using the watering receptacle. Just follow these simple instructions.
1. Fill the water receptacle with tap water as shown. NOTE: Before you
fill the water bottle, make a “practice run” at placing the water
bottle into the stand to understand and experience proper placement and to ensure that you will not have any difficulties putting
into place once the bottle is full of water.
2. Position the water receptacle over the tree stand base with the spout
facing upwards.
3. Flip the receptacle over, securing the spout in between the fins on the
trunk receptacle and the tree stand base
Always place the watering receptacle on the lowest side of the stand.
Make sure the water receptacle is secure.
Water from the receptacle will drain into the tree stand automatically
as the water level drops. Repeat the process as necessary to maintain
an adequate water level.

DISASSEMBLY AND STORAGE
To take down your tree, simply lift the tree out of the base and rest it on the top edge of the stand.
The water will drain through the trunk receptacle drain slots into the base. After drained, remove
the trunk receptacle and tree from the base. Be sure that the screw tips remain on the ends of
the bolts.
Empty any remaining water in the base and wipe the stand and trunk receptacle with a clean, soft
cloth. To remove tree sap residue, try wiping with a solution of warm, soapy water. Avoid cleaners
that contain petroleum distillates, as they may damage the surface.
After drying thoroughly, store your Swivel Straight® Stand in a dry, flat area. If storing your Swivel
Straight Stand in the original box, remove the screw tips from the bolts and then remove the bolts
from the receptacle. Place the receptacle into the base, storing the parts inside the receptacle.
Slide the entire stand into the original box and seal.

LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE. Emerald Innovations offers a LIMITED WARRANTY against any defects in workmanship or
materials under normal use with respect to its Swivel Straight® The One Minute Christmas Tree Stand® (the “Swivel
Straight stand”).
2. WARRANTY PERIOD. Emerald Innovations warrants the Swivel Straight Stand to be free from defects for as long
as the original purchaser owns the Swivel Straight Stand. Any components of a Swivel Straight Stand which prove
defective will be repaired or replaced, at Emerald Innovations’ option, free of charge to the owner. The owner is
responsible for shipping and handling fees to return any stand.
3. WARRANTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES. Emerald Innovations will repair or replace (at Emerald Innovations’ option)
a defective warranted component subject to the provisions of Section 2 without charge except for transportation
costs. OWNER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AGAINST EMERALD INNOVATIONS SHALL BE FOR THE REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE GOODS AS PROVIDED HEREIN.
4. CIRCUMSTANCES NEGATING WARRANTY AND OTHER LIMITATIONS.
(a) Emerald Innovations reserves the right to refuse warranty service or replacement when product failure is due to
misuse, mishandling, misapplication, accident, neglect, improper installation, modification, use of unauthorized parts
or attachments, adjustment or repair performed by anyone other than Emerald Innovations or its authorized agent, or
any causes other than defective workmanship or material.
(b) This limited warranty does not cover abrasion, abnormal use or damage caused by natural causes (e.g. earthquakes, fires, etc.). This warranty is void if the Swivel Straight Stand is structurally altered.
(c) Owner must provide proof of the date of purchase, place of purchase and the purchase price in order to obtain
service under this limited warranty.
(d) Emerald Innovations makes no warranty other than as contained herein. No agent, representative, dealer or
employee of Emerald Innovations has the authority to alter the obligations or limitations of this limited warranty.
5. LIMITATIONS ON ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND DAMAGES FOR CONSUMER USERS.
(a) ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON THE SWIVEL STRAIGHT STAND, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL NOT EXCEED IN DURATION THE
RESPECTIVE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WHICH BEGIN WITH INVOICE DATE OF PURCHASE. Some states
do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
(b) EMERALD INNOVATIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT
OF THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR THE BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or
exclusion may not apply to you. Any and all damages awarded for any breach of this limited warranty shall be limited
to the amount of the purchase price.
6. LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND DAMAGES FOR COMMERCIAL USERS.
(a) EMERALD INNOVATIONS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON THE SWIVEL STRAIGHT
STAND, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
(b) EMERALD INNOVATIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT
OF THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR THE BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.
Any and all damages awarded for any breach of this limited warranty shall be limited to the amount of the purchase
price.

cada uno de los pernos en el receptáculo atornillándolos dentro de los huecos en la parte alta del
receptáculo aproximadamente a la mitad dentro
del hueco. Coloque una punta de tornillo dentro de
la herramienta para apretar. Sitúe la herramienta
para apretar con una punta de tornillo encima del
extremo del perno. Una vez que la punta del tornillo es situado sobre el extremo del perno, apriete con la herramienta para apretar, girando en
sentido de las manecillas del reloj. Empiece por atornillar el perno dentro de la punta del tornillo
hasta que asegure. Repita el procedimiento para las otras dos puntas de tornillos. Sugerimos que
guarde la herramienta para apretar para utilización futura.
Sitúe el árbol a fin de que el receptáculo del
tronco descanse sobre la orilla de la parte alta de
la base. Levante la parte superior del árbol para
introducirlo dentro de la base. Podría ser necesario girar el árbol levemente para asegurarse que
el receptáculo del tronco está insertado dentro de
la base.
Si usted desea girar el árbol a una posición más
atractiva, debe levantar el árbol y girarlo, luego
reinserte el receptáculo del tronco dentro de la
base.
NOTA: El receptáculo del tronco NO debe girar
libremente en la base.

Usted puede complementar el riego del árbol durante las festividades utilizando el regador de agua. Solamente siga estas simples instrucciones.
1. Llene el regador con agua del grifo como se muestra en la ilustración.
NOTA: Antes de llenar la botella de agua, haga una prueba preliminar colocando la botella vacía dentro del pedestal con el fin de
aprender y practicar la manera correcta de hacerlo y para asegurarse de que no va a tener ninguna dificultad al colocar la botella
de agua en su sitio cuando esté llena de agua.
2. Coloque el regador de agua sobre la base del pedestal del árbol, con el
pico orientado hacia arriba.
3. Gire el regador, fijando el pico entre las aletas del receptáculo del
tronco y la base del pedestal del árbol.
Coloque siempre el regador de agua en la parte inferior del pedestal.

Para quitar el árbol, retire primero el regador de agua de la base del pedestal del árbol. Tenga
cuidado de no derramar cualquier residuo de agua que quede en el regador. Levántelo fuera de
la base y reclínelo sobre el borde superior del pedestal. El agua drenará a través de las ranuras
de drenaje del receptáculo del tronco hacia la base. Después del drenado, retire el receptáculo
del tronco y el árbol de la base. Asegúrese de que las puntas de los tornillos permanezcan en los
extremos de los pernos.
Vacíe el agua restante en la base y limpie el pedestal y el receptáculo del tronco con un paño suave
y limpio. Para remover residuos de la savia del árbol, intente lavarlo con una solución de agua
caliente con jabón. Evite el uso de limpiadores que contengan destilados de petróleo ya que estos
le pueden dañar la superficie.
Después de secarlo por completo, almacene su pedestal Swivel Straight® Stand en un área seca
y plana. Si almacena su pedestal Swivel Straight Stand en su caja original, retire las puntas de
los tornillos de los pernos y luego retire los pernos del receptáculo. Coloque el receptáculo dentro
de su base, almacenando las partes dentro del receptáculo. Deslice todo el pedestal en la caja
original y ciérrela.

AVANT DE COMMENCER
Procéder aux étapes suivantes :
1. Vérifier que le tube est bien fixé aux deux extrémités au fond du support.
2. Remplir la bouteille d’eau, mettre le bouchon supérieur et mettre la bouteille dans le support.
3. Vérifier le support toutes les 2 à 3 heures pendant les premières 24 heures.
4. S’il coule, vérifier la valve au fond du support pour s’assurer qu’elle est bien fixée.
5. Si le support continue de couler, appeler immédiatement notre service à la clientèle. Ne pas
mettre l’arbre dans son support.
Après avoir trouvé le bon endroit où placer
l’arbre et le support, s’assurer d’avoir accès
rapidement au récipient d’eau et à la pédale
à pied. Placer le support sur une surface plate
de niveau. Tirer la pédale à pied vers le haut.
Essayer la pédale en la poussant vers le bas. Si
l’on n’arrive pas à pousser la pédale jusqu’au
fond, il faut la tirer un peu plus vers le haut.
REMARQUE : Lorsque l’on utilise le support
sur une surface sans tapis, il faut placer les
quatre pieds en caoutchouc dans les trous
qui se trouvent sous le support.

ASSEMBLAGE DU RÉCIPIENT
REMARQUE : Seulement trois pointes de
vis sont nécessaires pour l’assemblage du
récipient.

Enlever les pointes de vis de l’outil de serrage.
Installer chacun des boulons sur le récipient
en les vissant dans les trous sur le dessus du
récipient, environ à mi-chemin dans le trou.
Mettre une pointe de vis dans l’outil de serrage.
Placer l’outil avec la pointe sur l’extrémité du
boulon. Une fois la pointe de vis bien placée
au bout du boulon, serrer avec l’outil en
tournant dans le sens horaire. Commencer en
vissant le boulon dans la pointe de vis jusqu’à
ce qu’il ne bouge plus. Recommencer pour les deux autres pointes de vis.
L’OUTIL DE
SERRAGE
Pour tourner l’arbre afin de voir le côté le
plus beau, soulever l’arbre et le tourner puis
remettre le récipient du tronc dans la base.
REMARQUE : Le récipient du tronc NE DOIT
PAS se déplacer librement dans la base.
Il est préférable de garder l’outil de serrage pour utilisation ultérieure.
CONSEIL IMPORTANT : Une fois l’arbre
placé dans la base, il est préférable de vérifier si chaque boulon du récipient du tronc
est bien serré.
METTRE L’ARBRE BIEN DROIT
FIXATION DU RÉCIPIENT
Avant de fixer le récipient au tronc de l’arbre,
couper environ de 0,6 à 1,25 cm en bas du
tronc pour laisser l’arbre absorber l’eau.
Enlever toutes les branches qui se trouvent de
15 à 20 cm à partir du bas du tronc.
Placer l’arbre pour que le récipient du tronc se
trouve du côté supérieur de la base. Soulever
le haut de l’arbre pour l’insérer dans la base.
Il peut être nécessaire de tourner légèrement
l’arbre pour qu’il s’insère complètement dans
la base du récipient du tronc.
CÔNE

Tirer sur la pédale à pied pour la sortir au
complet. Tenir le tronc fermement et appuyer
sur la pédale pour tourner ou déplacer l’arbre
jusqu’à ce qu’il soit bien droit. Relâcher la
pédale à pied pour bloquer l’arbre en place.
REMARQUE : Il faudra peut-être couper la
base des arbres ayant un diamètre plus
grand en biseau pour qu’ils puissent être
placés dans le support.
REMARQUE : NE PAS APPUYER SUR LA
PÉDALE À PIED AVANT DE TENIR LE
TRONC DE L’ARBRE FERMEMENT. SINON,
L’ARBRE RISQUE DE TOMBER!
Placer une main sur le bas du récipient du
tronc et le glisser sur le tronc de l’arbre.
Placer le récipient du tronc pour que l’arbre
soit coincé dans la partie inférieure du récipient. Insérer le tronc de l’arbre aussi droit et
aussi profond que possible. Enlever toutes les
branches pouvant bloquer le récipient
Une fois l’arbre bien placé, soulever et glisser
la pédale à pied dans son compartiment de
rangement.
IMPORTANT : Bien tenir le récipient du
tronc en plaçant l’arbre à l’intérieur. Serrer chacun des boulons un petit coup à
la fois jusqu’à ce que la pointe des vis de
chaque boulon pénètre dans le tronc de
l’arbre et que le récipient du tronc soit
bien fixé.

Vérifier que le tronc est bien assis dans la base.

L’eau ne coule pas dans le support.
Vérifier que le récipient d’eau soit bien posé.
Il est possible que l’arbre ait cessé de boire.

UTILISATION DE L’ARROSOIR
Instructions pour le

On peut rajouter de l’eau dans la base pendant les fêtes en utilisant
l’arrosoir inclus. Il suffit de suivre ces simples instructions.
1. Remplir l’arrosoir d’eau du robinet, tel qu’illustré. REMARQUE : Avant
de remplir la bouteille d’eau, essayez de l’enfiler une fois dans le
support pour bien comprendre comment le faire et pour être sûr
de ne pas avoir de peine à la mettre en place une fois qu’elle est
pleine d’eau.
2. Placer l’arrosoir par-dessus le support de l’arbre, avec le bec faisant
face vers le haut
3. Retourner l’arrosoir, avec le bec entre les ailettes, sur le récipient contenant l’arbre, et la base du support d’arbre. Toujours placer l’arrosoir
du côté le plus bas du support.
Veiller à bien fixer l’arrosoir. De l’eau s’écoulera dans le support de l’arbre
au fur et à mesure que le niveau d’eau baisse.
Répéter aussi souvent que nécessaire pour maintenir le niveau d’eau.

DÉMONTAGE ET RANGEMENT
Pour démontrer l’arbre, retirer tout d’abord l’arrosoir de la base du support de l’arbre. Veiller à
ne pas renverser l’eau qui reste dans le récipient. L’eau s’écoulera à travers les orifices de drainage
du réceptacle. Retirez le réceptacle et le sapin du socle avant de détacher le réceptacle du sapin.
Veillez à ce que les embouts filetés restent attachés aux extrémités des boulons.
Videz le socle de toute eau résiduelle et séchez le support ainsi que le réceptacle au moyen d’un
linge doux. Les traces de sève de sapin peuvent être enlevées au moyen d’une solution d’eau
chaude savonneuse. N’utilisez pas d’agent de nettoyage contenant des distillats de pétrole dans la
mesure où ces derniers pourraient endommager la surface.
Après avoir bien séché le support Swivel Straight, rangez-le dans un endroit sec et plat. Pour ranger
le support Swivel Straight dans l’emballage d’origine, enlevez les embouts filetés des boulons et
retirez les boulons du réceptacle. Mettez le réceptacle dans le socle, puis rangez les différentes
pièces dans le réceptacle. Glissez le support entier dans l’emballage d’origine et fermez celui-ci.
