BATTERY INSTALLATION
This precision engineered radio requires four “UM-2”. To install the 4 batteries (not included), go to the
rear bottom of the radio and slide the battery compartment lid open. Install the batteries as shown in the
battery compartment diagram.
WARNING
Wrong battery installation may damage this radio. Do not leave weak batteries in the radio as they may
leak and damage the radio. If the radio does not work properly, the batteries may weak. If in doubt,
replace the batteries.
TO PLAY THE RADIO
1. Rotate the VOLUME CONTROL clockwise past the “click” to turn the radio on.
2. Turn the BAND SELECTOR to the desired band as follows :
AM 540-1600Khz
FM 88-108Mhz
3. Turn the TUNING CONTROL to locate a desired station.
4. Adjust the volume to satisfy individual preference.
RECEPTION INFORMATION
AM :It may be necessary to rotate the entire set for best reception.
FM : Adjust the height and position of the TELESCOPIC ANTENNA to improve reception.
MAINTENANCE
Do not expose this radio to high temperatures as this could damage the radio or cause reduced
component life. Wipe the radio with a damp cloth. Use of detergents, abrasives, or solvents may
damage the cabinet.

OPERATIONAL CHECK
If the radio does not operate properly, or does not operate at all, please make the following checks :
SYMPTOM
Radio completely dead, or weak reception or distorted sound.
CAUSE 1 : Battery contacts are dirty.
SOLOUTION : Remove batteries, clean contacts, replace batteries.
CAUSE 2 : Batteries are weak or dead
SOLUTION : Remove old batteries and replace with fresh batteries.
In order to fulfill ruling UNE EN-60065, we indicate that if the flexible wire is damaged, it can only be
substituted by a technical service recognized by NEVIR, S.A., as per special tooling is required.
This symbol indicates that when the end-user wishes to discard this product,
it must be sent to separate collection facilinties for recovery and recycling.
By separating this product from other household-type waste. the volume
of waste sent to incinerators or land-fills will be reduced and natural resources
will thus be conserved.

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS
Esta radio creada con ingeniería de precisión requiere cuatro pilas “UM-2”. Para instalar las 4 pilas (no
incluidas), vaya a la parte posterior trasera de la radio y deslice la tapa del compartimento de las pilas para
abrirla. Instale las pilas tal y como se muestra en el gráfico del compartimento de las pilas.
AVISO
Una instalación incorrecta de las pilas puede dañar la radio. No deje pilas descargadas en la radio ya que
pueden soltar líquido y dañar la radio. Si la radio no funciona correctamente puede ser debido a que las
pilas están descargadas. En caso de duda, cambie las pilas.
PARA REPRODUCIR LA RADIO
1. Gire el CONTROL DE VOLUMEN en sentido de las agujas del reloj para que haga “clic” y se
encienda la radio.
2. Coloque el SELECTOR DE FRECUENCIA en la frecuencia deseada de la siguiente manera:
AM 540-1600Khz
FM 88-108Mhz
3. Mueva el CONTROL DE SINTONIZACIÓN hasta localizar la emisora deseada.
4. Ajuste el volumen de acuerdo a sus preferencias.
INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LA RECEPCIÓN
AM: Puede ser necesario girar todo el aparato para una mejor recepción.
FM: Ajuste la altura y la posición de la ANTENA TELESCÓPICA para mejorar la recepción.
MANTENIMIENTO
No exponga la radio a altas temperaturas, ya que podrían dañarla o reducir la duración de sus piezas. Frote
la radio con un paño húmedo. El uso de limpiadores, abrasivos o disolventes puede dañar el aparato.
COMPROBACIÓN DEL FUNCIONAMIENTO
Si la radio no funciona correctamente o no funciona en absoluto, realice las siguientes comprobaciones:
SÍNTOMA
La radio no se enciende o la señal es débil o el sonido está distorsionado.
CAUSA 1: Los contactos de las pilas están sucios.
SOLUCIÓN: Retire las pilas, limpie los contactos y cambie las pilas.
CAUSA 2: Las pilas tienen poca carga o se han acabado.
SOLUCIÓN: Retire las pilas viejas y cámbielas por pilas nuevas.
