TUSTIN UNIFIED Online Transfer Request Using Aeries Parent Portal https://parentnet.tustin.k12.ca.us 1. To access Parent Portal, type the email address linked to your student. Click Next. Enter your password on the next screen. Then click SIGN IN. 2. If using a mobile device, select Full Site option. You will be directed to the Home page of Aeries Parent Portal. 3. In the main screen you will see the students associated to you. The name of the student you are viewing will also show in the top middle. 4. From Student Info in the upper left corner select District Supplemental to enter transfer request information. 5. To edit fields click the Change button at the bottom of the screen. 6. Once the fields become active only update the fields/boxes highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below, the boxes will not change color. Please DO NOT update any other fields under District Supplemental Data. Once completed click on the Save button. More details about each field listed below. Request for Year *Continuing intras at the same school do not need to re‐apply. For the 2016‐2017 school year please select 2016‐2017. Inter/Intra Transfer type you are applying for. Select (1) Intra if you live in the Tustin USD boundaries. Select (2) Inter if you do not live in the Tustin USD boundaries. New/Renew Transfer type you are applying for. Select (1) if you are applying for a new intra, for the first time. Select (2) if you are applying for a new inter, for the first time. Select (3) if you are renewing an interdistrict permit. This is if you currently have an interdistrict agreement with Tustin USD and are doing the annual renewal. *Continuing intras at the same school do not need to re‐apply. District From/To: If you are applying for an interdistrict permit please enter the name of the district you currently live in; see below for the district list. Grade 2016 Grade in which student will be in the Fall of 2016. Home School Student’s school of residence if requesting an intradistrict transfer. 1st and 2nd School Choice: Select the school site you wish your child to attend in September 2016. Intradistrict, you have two choices. Interdistricts, you only have one choice. *Please note that Pioneer Middle School and Beckman High School are closed for new transfers this year due to lack of space. Special Ed Does the student currently have an IEP for special education services such as: speech, special day class, inclusion? If Yes please select (Y), if No please select (N) 504 Plan Does the student currently have a 504 plan? Select (Y) if yes your child currently has one, select (N) if they do not have a current 504 plan. Sibling & Sibling Perm ID If the student has a sibling in the district, select the option that applies. (A) Sibling currently attends school requested. (B) Sibling requesting same school. (C) Sibling of a student placed by the Special Education department at that school. Once completed, click on the Save button. This completes the transfer request if you only have one student. If you are enrolling additional students please continue to step 7. Please make sure that all the items that you completed were populated. At the end of the transfer window, February 19, you will receive an email confirming your transfer submission. 7. If requesting a transfer for more than one student, select a different student from Change Student. In the upper right corner. 8. The District Supplemental are the same steps from above Step 5. Si está utilizando un aparato móvil, elija la opción “Full Site”. Será dirigido a la página de inicio de “Aeries Parent Portal”. 3. En la pantalla principal podrá ver los alumnos asociados con usted. El nombre del alumno que está viendo también aparecerá en medio en la parte de arriba. 4. De “Student Info” en la esquina superior al lado izquierdo elija “District Supplemental” para escribir la información de la solicitud de transferencia. 5. Para hacer cualquier corrección haga clic en “Change” en la parte de abajo de la pantalla. 6. Una vez que se activen los campos sólo actualice los campos/cajas resaltado en amarillo en la imagen a continuación, las cajas no cambiaran de color. Por favor NO actualice cualquier otro campo bajo “District Supplemental Data”. Una vez que lo termine de llenar haga clic en “Save”. A continuación encontrara más detalles acerca de cada campo. Solicitud del Año *Los alumnos que continúan en una transferencia “Intradistrict” en la misma escuela no necesitan volver a presentar una solicitud. Para el año escolar 2016‐2017 por favor elija 2016‐2017. Transferencia “Interdistrict”/”Intradistrict” Tipo de transferencia que está solicitando. Elija (1) “Intra” si vive dentro de los límites del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Tustin. Elija (2) “Inter” si vive fuera de los límites del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Tustin. Nuevo/Reanudar Tipo de transferencia que está solicitando. Elija (1) si está solicitando una nueva transferencia “intra”, por primera vez. Elija (2) si está solicitando una nueva transferencia “inter”, por primera vez. Elija (3) si está reanudando una transferencia “interdistrict”. Esto es si actualmente tiene un acuerdo “interdistrict” con el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Tustin y está realizando reanudación anual. *Los alumnos que continúan en una transferencia “Intradistrict” en la misma escuela no necesitan volver a presentar una solicitud. Del/Al Distrito: Si está solicitando un permiso “interdistrict” por favor escribe en nombre del distrito a la que pertenece actualmente; vea la lista de distritos a continuación. Escuela de Residencia La escuela de residencia del alumno si está solicitando una transferencia “intradistrict”. 1era y 2da Elección de Escuela: Elija la escuela a la cual desea que asista su hijo en septiembre de 2016. “Intradistrict”, tiene dos opciones. “Interdistrict”, tiene una opción. *Por favor tenga en cuenta que la Escuela Secundaria Pioneer y la Escuela Preparatoria Beckman están cerradas para las nuevas transferencias este año debido a la falta de espacio. Educación Especial ¿Su hijo actualmente tiene un IEP para servicios de educación especial como: el habla, clase especial diurna, inclusión? Si Sí, por favor elija (Y), si No, por favor elija (N) Plan 504 ¿Su hijo actualmente tiene un plan 504? Elija (Y) si su hijo actualmente tiene uno, elija (N) si su hijo actualmente no tiene un plan 504. Nombre e Identificación Permanente (Perm ID) del Hermano Si el alumno tiene un hermano en el distrito, elija la opción que aplica. (A) El hermano actualmente asiste a la escuela solicitada. (B) El hermano está solicitando la misma escuela. (C) El hermano del alumno está colocado en esa escuela por el Departamento de Educación Especial. Una vez que termine, haga clic en “Save”. Esto completa la solicitud de transferencia si sólo tiene un alumno. Si está inscribiendo alumnos adicionales, por favor continúe el paso 7. Por favor asegúrese de que haya escrito los datos en todos los artículos que completo. Al final del plazo de transferencia, el 19 de febrero, usted recibirá un correo electrónico confirmando su presentación de transferencia. 7. Si está solicitando una transferencia para más de un alumno, elija un alumno diferente de “Change Student” en la esquina superior al lado derecho. 8.
