PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Change of Choir Director
We welcome our new Choir Director Janice Filippi.
Janice has worked for the Parish from 1995-2003, as the
church Music Director and as a school teacher. We are
glad to have her with us again and we wish her the best in
her ministry. Welcome back Janice!
At the same time we would like to thank Kathy Hersey, who was our Choir Director until last weekend, for
putting her wonderful gift of singing & playing music at
the service of the Lord and our Parish for the past years.
She has moved to New Hampshire for good. We also
wish her the best for her future life and ministry. She will
be missed.
2016 CATHOLIC APPEAL CAMPAIGN
Many thanks to the parishioners who pledged donations in excess of $18,840 for the Catholic Appeal Campaign. Once all the pledges are paid, we will have reached
our goal for this year campaign. Once again, lots of
thanks for your generosity towards our Archdiocese of
Boston.

Saint Anthony’s Feast—Revised
On Sunday June 12, we honor our Patron Saint Anthony with a Solemn Mass at 11:00 am - the only other
Mass for that Sunday will be at 7:00 p.m. in Portuguese. It is going to be a multicultur al celebr ation followed by a Festival of ethnic food, games, pony rides,
face painting & raffles. The festival will take place at both
the School Parking Lot and the School Gymnasium. The
feast runs from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please use the
Parking lot at 64 School Street. Additional parking will
be available at the Whittier School, 37 Broadway, Everett.

Multiculturale, alle 11:00 del mattino, che sarà celebrata in onore del nostro padrone e protettore Sant’Antonio. Dopo la messa ci saranno delle festività nel parcheggio e nel salone della scuola. L’unica altra messa,
sarà quella in portoghese alle 7:00 della sera.

PASTORAL PRO-VIDA: la pastor al de provida invita a la comunidad a participar todos los segundos sábados de cada mes para ir a las clínicas donde se practican abortos y rezar el Santo Rosario en favor de la vida. Se sale al frente de la iglesia a las 8:30
a.m.
FIESTA DE SAN ANTONIO: quer emos invitar a
la comunidad para que participe de la fiesta de nuestro
Patrón que será el 12 de junio a las 11:00 am. Después de
la celebración Eucarística tendremos venta de comida,
juegos para niños, rifas y otras sorpresas. La otra misa de
ese día será la de las 7:00 pm en Portugués. No olvidemos
que esta casa es también su casa. Te esperamos!!

BATISMO: O batismo acontece todo pr imeir o
domingo de cada mês. O curso de preparação para o
batismo é sempre no sábado que antecede o domingo
do batismo, é obrigatório que pais e padrinhos façam
o curso de preparação para o batismo. É necessário a
certidão de nascimento e o preenchimento do
formulário de batismo que poderá ser feito no Centro
Scalabrini de Segunda a Sexta, no horário de 5pm as
8pm ou na casa paroquial de 2pm as 5pm.
MATRIMÔNIO: Os matr imônios na nossa
comunidade são aos sábados nos horários de
11:00am, 1:30pm e 5:30pm. Os noivos devem
escolher a data, marcar horário com o padre no
mínimo 6 meses antes do casamento para
providenciar a documentação necessária
Festa de Santo Antônio – No dia 12 de J unho
as 11 da manhã teremos a Santa Missa Multicultural,
após a Missa, procissão dentro da igreja com o
Santíssimo e com a relíquia de Santo Antonio. Logo
Após a solenidade da Missa, teremos um festival
multicultural no estacionamento da escola e na
quadra para arrecadar fundos, teremos comidas
típicas, face painting, pula-pula, pipoca, algodão
