When – Once every week or every two weeks. After school on Friday. 10-­‐ 20 minutes each meeting Who can join? – 7th-­‐ 12th grade. Everyone is welcome to join. What will we do? Local water/ environmental testing Find group interests to pursue Possibly build projects to enter contests Nearby field trips (during weekends) If you are interested, there will be a box by Mrs. K’s office for you to enter your name. By: Tristan Welch To all Anime fans: Be sure to check out the latest Dragon Ball Z movie “Resurrection F.” It tells how Goku and Vegeta must protect Earth from the resurrected Frieza and his army of soldiers. It will be the fifteenth Dragon Ball movie. Also, the latest Disturbed album “Immortalized” is now available. Be sure to check it out. It will be the band’s first album in five years since the release of “Asylum”. Introducing the new staff and

Mr. Burki
Mr. Burki teaches World History, Native American History, American History, and American Government. His favorite food is steak. His favorite colors are blue and green, and his favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is being here (he’s glad to finally be here). In his free time, Mr. Burki likes to watch T.V., hang out with his family, go hunting, and traveling. Mr. Dennis
Mr. Dennis teaches high school and junior high band, along with 5th and 6th grade band, Music Explorations, and 4th grade recorders. His favorite food is steak, potatoes, and sweet corn. His favorite color is red, and his favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is the many welcomes and support he’s received as a new teacher as well as the very supportive students and staff. In his free time, Mr. Dennis likes to go hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors, watching Husker Football, and music. Mrs. Sampson
Mrs. Sampson teaches 7th and 8th grade science, Introduction to Health Science, and Environmental Science. Her favorite food is well-­‐aged ribeye steak. Her favorite color is yellow, and her favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is all the upper classman that show leadership. In her free time, Mrs. Sampson likes to travel, go kayaking, and be outdoors. Julissa is in the 11th grade, and she came from Mexico. Her favorite food is enchiladas. Her favorite colors are black, red, and blue. Also, her favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is everything about our school. The activities that she’s in are PE and choir. In her free time, Julissa likes to listen to music and watch movies. Melissa is in the 9th grade, and she came from Mexico. Her favorite food is enchiladas and pozole. Her favorite colors are red and black. Her favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is the gym. Activities that she’s in are PE and choir. In her free time, Melissa likes to listen to music. Flaminia is in the 12th grade, and she came from Italy. Her favorite food is pizza. Her favorite color is sky blue, and her favorite thing about Wisner-­‐
Pilger is how our school works. It is different from the Italian schools. An activity that she’s in is cross-­‐country. In her free time, Flaminia likes to listen to music, read, watch movies, and spend time with her friends and family. Hubert is in the 12th grade, and he came from Germany. His favorite food is pizza and German food. His favorite color is blue and green, and his favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is that the teachers are much more nicer here than in Germany. The students are nice, too. An activity that he’s in is football. In his free time, Hubert likes to swim, play piano, bike, ride motorcycles, and meet new friends. Sarah Wimberley

Sarah is in the 8th grade, and she came from Arizona. Her favorite food is popcorn. Her favorite color is mint green, and her favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is her friends. Activities that she’s in are volleyball, basketball, and track. In her free time, Sarah likes to make YouTube videos with her friend Ariana Wisniewski. Hubert Kuntzsch
Zoilo is in the 8th grade, and he came from McCook, NE. His favorite food is menudo. His favorite color is green, and his favorite thing about Wisner-­‐
Pilger is that it’s a small town. An activity that he’s in is football. In his free time, Zoilo likes to ride horses. Rebecca Thompson

Rebecca is in the 9th grade, and she came from Iowa. Her favorite food is everything. Her favorite color is navy blue, and her favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is the super nice people. An activity that she is in is volleyball. In her free time, Rebecca likes to sleep, eat, and read. Veronica Peck
Veronica is in the 9th grade. She lived in Stanton, and went to school in Columbus. Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite thing Rockney is in the 7th grade, and he came from Stanton. His favorite food is fried chicken. His favorite color is orange, and his favorite thing about Wisner-­‐Pilger is his friends. Activities that he’s in are soccer, baseball, golf, basketball, and band. In his free time, Rockney likes to play sports. Friday Night Lights!!
With the score of 31-­‐6, the Gators played an awesome game against the Tigers for their first home football game of the season! Congratulations to Jayden Raabe, Lucas Troyer, and Cobe Porter for the most tackles and tackle assists. Beating Tekamah-­‐Herman was a great way to kick off the year! Great job Gators!
