Archipelagos es fundado en 2001 como una agencia de arquitectura multidisciplinar y descentralizada, capaz de responder a
situaciones de crisis ambiental en contextos geográficos remotos. En 2010 Archipelagos abre un estudio especializado en vivienda
ecológica y desarrollo paisajístico en Monterrey, México. Esta primera base permanente se abre con el fin de desarrollar una
familia de casa experimentales, las “ecoscopic houses”, diseñadas mediante una metodología que pretende optimizar la forma en
relación a los flujos de energía que atraviesan el lugar.
