Please follow instruction steps in this manual for correct and safe operations of the
device. Pay special attention to the following warning signs beside the operation
descriptions where applicable.

Sterilization of the Fibre-Optic Probe:
Before first use and after use on each patient, the fibre-optic probe should be disinfected or sterilized. It is recommended that the Probe be autoclaved at 134°C for 5 minutes. Suggestion is to use autoclave at 134°C for maximum results. The sterilization time
at 134°C should be 5 minutes.
Note: Please disconnect the Anti glare cone (orange) from the handpiece and
autoclave separately.
Product Cleaning:
If there is any dirt or stains on the surface of the control panel or surface of the handpiece, use a cloth to wipe clean. You can also use a neutral cleansing agent.
Note: Never use a solvent or volatile oil for cleansing as this can lead to fading
of the markings on the control panel.

GENERAL INSTALLATION :
** Please follow the instructions below carefully to insure correct function of this device.
1. Insert the fibre optic probe into the handpiece and ensure that it is securely installed
at the fixed position (2mm of the fiber optic metal colour will remain visible).
2. Place the orange anti-glare cone onto the fibre optic probe and adjust the cone
position according to the dentist's preference.
3. Connect the DC adapter to the charger stand and plug the adapter into the mains.
** NOTE: Check to make sure the RED led light is lit and immediately switch to GREEN
led light at this point.
4. Place the handpiece in the charger stand to begin the initial charging.
(As shown in picture below)
** IMPORTANT :
> Please make sure the initial charge of the battery
is for at least 6 hours before the FIRST use.
This will insure the maximum length of the
battery life.
> When battery power decreases to the lowest
supply level, a continuous beeping sound will ring
for one minute to remind the user to recharge.
> Please do not charge the unit permanently.

OPERATION :
Mode:
There are three modes at your choices. Each mode gives user 0 ~ 99
seconds of setting time.
(A) MODE 1:
> full power
(up to 800 ~1000mW/cm2)
Default setting time is 8 sec.
(B) MODE 2:
> ramp
(soft up to full power)
(C) MODE 3:
> Pulse
(full power, 1 second on, 1 second off)

TIME SETTING :
> Once the user sets the mode, press Time button for longer than 2 seconds (till the number shown in the LED panel starts to blink), and press again to add time, a second per push.
> Operating time will start add up after one second if the user pushes the Time-button
continuosly.
OPERATION :
> After setting up the Mode selection and operating, triggers the start button for start.
> Press again to stop operation at any time.
> Auto Power Saving Mode: the device will turn off automatically if not used for longer
than 90 seconds. Operation resumes once the user presses the start button again.
> In “Mode 1,8 second” setting, the cycles can be utilized 30 consecutive cycle continuosly. Caution: If operate HS-LED 1200 for longer than 30 cycles (mode 1 8-second)
continuosly could result high heat that is hazardous to the heat of patients´s teeth.
SENSOR (RADIOMETER) :
1. Choose Mode 1
2. Install the fiber Optic.
3. Aim the tip at the sensor and press Start, to start checking the light intensity.
COOLING SYSTEM :
The HS-LED 1200 is equipped with a special built-in magnetic fan motor to prevent overheating and to prolong the light emitting time.

> The cooling system will be activated
when the heat starts to accumulate.
> If the system is over heated,
HS LED 1200 will be turned off
automatically for safety purpose.

1. When the power is low, place the handpiece onto the charger for charging.

PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD :
Por favor, siga paso a paso las instrucciones en este manual para una operación correcta y segura del dispositivo. Siga con especial atención los apartados en que se indican las precauciones a tomar, cuando sean aplicables.

• Este mensaje aparece cuando la operación puede causar daños severos si
no se siguen correctamente las instrucciones .

Esterilización de la punta de fibra óptica:
Antes del primer uso y después de la operación con cada paciente, la punta de esterilización debe ser desinfectada o esterilizada. Se sugiere usar un autoclave a 134°C para
el mejor resultado. El tiempo de esterilización a 134°C debería ser 5 minutos.
Nota: Por favor, desconecte la punta de fibra óptica (naranja) de la pieza de mano y
esterilízela aparte.
Limpieza del Producto:
Si hay suciedad en la superficie del panel de control o en la pieza de mano, por favor,
use un paño para limpiarla. Lo puede limpiar también con un agente limpiador neutro.
Nota: Nunca use disolvente o aceite volátil para limpiar la fibra óptica.

INSTALACIÓN GENERAL :
** Por favor, siga las instrucciones de abajo cuidadosamente para asegurar el correcto
funcionamiento del dispositivo.
1. Inserte la punta de fibra óptica en la pieza de mano y asegúrese de que está conectada
correctamente (2mm de la fibra óptica color metalizado continuarán siendo visibles).
2. Coloque el cono antideslumbrante en la salida de la fibra óptica y ajústelo a la posición
preferida por el dentista.
3. Conecte el adaptador DC a la base cargador y conecte el enchufe a la corriente
eléctrica.
** NOTA: Asegúrese de que la luz ROJA está encendida y que inmediatamente cambia a verde en este punto.
4. Coloque la pieza de mano en el cargador para comenzar la carga inicial.
(Como se muestra en el dibujo de abajo)
** IMPORTANTE :
> Asegúrese de cargar la pieza al menos 5 horas,
antes del primer uso. Esto alargará la vida de la
batería.
> Cuando la batería se esté agotando, una alarma
sonora en forma de beeps recordará al usuario que
debe cargarla.
> Por favor, no cargue la unidad permanentemente.

TIEMPOS DE POLIMERIZACIÓN :
> Una vez establecido el modo, presionar el botón TIME más de 2 segundos (hasta que el
número que aparece en la pantalla LED empiece a parpadear), y pulsarlo otra vez para
añadir más tiempo, un segundo por pulsada.
> El tiempo empezará un segundo después si se presiona el botón TIME continuamente.
FUNCIONAMIENTO :
> Después de establecer el tiempo de polimerización, poner la lámpara en funcionamiento presionando el botón de Start.
> Presionar otra vez para pararla en cualquier momento.
> Modo de ahorro de energía: el sistema se apagará automáticamente si no se usa
durante 90 segundos. Volverá a funcionar de nuevo presionando Start.
> El “Modo 1.8 segundos” permite usar 30 ciclos seguidos continuamente. Cuidado:
si se usan más de 30 ciclos seguidos, se puede generar un exceso de calor en el
diente, siendo peligroso para el paciente.
SENSOR (RADIOMETRO) :
1. Elegir Modo 1.
2. Instalar la fibra óptica.
3. Apuntar la punta al sensor y presionar Start para comenzar a comprobar la intensidad de la luz.
SISTEMA DE REFRIGERADO :
La Lámpara HS-LED 1200 está equipada con un ventilador magnético que previene el
sobrecalentamiento, a la vez que prolonga el tiempo de emisión de luz.

Stérilisation de la embout optique :
Avant la première utilisation et après chaque utilisation, la embout optique peut être désinfectée ou stérilisée. Il est recommandé d’utiliser un autoclave de type B (135°-18 m).
Note: Déconnectez L’embout optique de la pièce à main avant de la stériliser.
Produit de nettoyage:
Si il y a des saletés ou des taches sur la surface de l’écran de contrôle ou sur la pièce
à main, veuillez utiliser un chiffon pour nettoyer. Vous pouvez également utiliser un agent

INSTALLATION GENERALE :
**Veuillez suivre correctement les instructions suivantes pour une bonne utilisation de
l’appareil
1. Insérer la fibre optique dans la pièce à main et assurez-vous qu’elle est bien fixée
dans la bonne position.
2. Placez l’embout conique de protection sur l’embout optique et ajustez-la dans la
position souhaitée.
3. Connectez l’adaptateur sur le socle de chargement et branchez l’adaptateur sur la
prise de courant électrique.
** NOTE: Vérifiez que le voyant rouge est allumé et passe immédiatement au vert à
ce moment là.
4. Placez la pièce à main dans le socle de chargement et commencez le chargement initial. (comme ci-dessous)
** IMPORTANT :
> Assurez-vous que la batterie est totalement
chargée durant au moins 6 heures avant la première utilisation. Ceci vous assurera une durée de
vie plus longue de la batterie.
> Quand la puissance de la batterie diminue au
plus bas niveau, une alarme sonore continue vous
alerte pour effectuer un rechargement.

TEMPS DE PROGRAMMATION :
> Une fois que le mode (M1,M2, ou M3) a été sélectionné, appuyer sur la touche « Time »
en continu jusqu'à que le chiffre sur l’écran LCD clignote, ensuite vous pouvez appuyer sur
la même touche afin d’augmenter la sélection du temps d’une seconde jusqu'à la valeur
souhaité.
> Ensuite, appuyer une fois sur la touche MARCHE/ARRET en dirigeant votre lampe vers
le sol pour mémoriser le temps souhaité.
UTILISATION :
> Une fois que le mode a été choisi et que le temps de programmation a été réglé vous
pouvez commencer à utiliser votre LED en appuyant sur la touche MARCHE/ARRET.
> Pour arrêter la lampe à n’importe quel moment il vous suffit d’appuyer sur la touche
MARCHE/ARRET
> Mode Power saving : L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement dès qu’il n’est plus utilisé
au-delà de 90 secondes. Appuyer à nouveau sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRET pour
établir le contact.
> Utilisation Mode 1 (M1) 8 secondes : ce cycle peut être utilisé 30 fois de suite avec
le réglage de default.
Important : Si vous utilisez le mode 1 plus de 30 fois de suite, ceci peut générer une
surchauffe.

Sterilisation des Fiber-Optik-Lichtleiters:
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch und nach jedem Patienten sollte der Fiber-Optik-Lichtleiter
desinfiziert und sterilisiert werden. Empfohlen ist der Gebrauch eines Autoklaven. Bei
134°C erzielen Sie die maximale Sterilisation. Die Sterilisationszeit beträgt 5 Minuten bei
134°C.
Anmerkung: Bitte entfernen Sie den orangefarbenen Fiber-Optik-Blendschutz von
dem Handstück und autoklavieren Sie ihn separat.
Produktreinigung:
Bitte benutzen Sie ein Tuch um Verschmutzungen oder Flecken auf der Oberfläche des
Kontrollpanels oder der Oberfläche des Handstücks zu entfernen. Sie können ebenfalls
einen neutralen Reiniger verwenden.
Anmerkung: Bitte benutzen Sie niemals ein Lösungsmittel oder ölhaltiges
Reinigungsmittel, da es zu einer Verblassung in der Fiber-Optik Schattierung führen
kann.

GENERELLE INSTALLATION :
** Bitte befolgen Sie die nachfolgenden Instruktionen genau um die sichere Funktion des
Gerätes sicherzustellen.
1. Setzen Sie die Fiber-Optik-Spitze in das Handstück ein und versichern Sie sich, daß
die Spitze sicher in der zu fixierenden Position installiert wurde (2mm des metallfarbenen Teils werden sichtbar bleiben).
2. Setzen Sie den orangefarbenen Blendschutz auf die Fiber-Optik-Spitze und richten
Sie die Lichtkegelposition so aus, wie der Zahnarzt es wünscht.
3. Verbinden Sie den DC-Adapter mit dem Stecker und stecken Sie den Adapter in die
Steckdose.
Achtung: Stellen Sie sicher, daß sich das RED (rote) Licht anschaltet und sofort auf ein
GREEN (grüne) LED-Licht umschaltet.
4. Plazieren Sie das Handstück in das Ladegerät um die erste Stromaufladung des
Akkus zu starten (siehe in der nachfolgenden Abbildung).
** WICHTIG :
> Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, daß die volle
Aufladung des Akkus von mindestens 5 Stunden,
gewährleistet ist, bevor das Gerät zum ERSTEN
Mal benutzen. Dies wird die volle Nutzung des
Akkus gewährleisten.
> Wenn sich die Batterie dem Ende zuneigt, werden Sie durch einen 1-minütigen Piepton an die
Nachladung erinnert.

ZEITEINSTELLUNG :
> Um die Arbeitszeit einzustellen, drücken Sie bitte den „Time“-Knopf länger als 2
Sekunden (bis die Zahl in dem LCD-Display anfängt zu blinken) und betätigen Sie den
„Time“-Knopf (pro Betätigung) um die Arbeitszeit je 1 Sekunde zu erhöhen
> Wenn man den „Time“-Knopf kontinuierlich betätigt, erhöht sich die Arbeitszeit
schneller.
ARBEITSABLAUF :
> Nach Einstellung des Modus und der Arbeitszeit, betätigen Sie bitte den Start-/StopSchalter zum Starten des Arbeitsablaufes
> Nochmalige Betätigung des Schalters stoppt das Gerät
> Automatischer Stromsparmodus: das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch aus, wenn es
90 Sekunden lang nicht betätigt wird. Arbeitsgang verbleibt solange im Speicher, bis
der Startschalter wieder betätigt wird.
> Innerhalb des Modus „1,8 Sekunden“ können Sie 30 aufeinander folgende
Arbeitsabläufe starten. Achtung: Sollten 30 aufeinander folgende Arbeitsabläufe überschritten werden, kann es zu einer Überhitzung kommen, die wiederum zu einer Überhitzung am Patientenzahn führen kann.

Sterilizzazione della fibra ottica:
Disinfettare e sterilizzare la fibra ottica prima di usarla e dopo ogni paziente (dopo ogni
utilizzo). Si consiglia la sterilizzazione in autoclave. Si suggerisce, per una miglior sterilizzazione, una temperatura di 134°C per 5 minuti.
Annotazione: Si prega di togliere dalla fibra ottica lo schermo di protezione arancione
e di autoclavarlo separatamente.
Pulizia dell'aparecchio:
Si prega di utilizzare uno straccio per pulire macchie sulla superfice del manipolo.
E' possibile anche l'utilizzo di detergenti neutri.

ISTALLAZIONE GENERALE :
**Si prega di seguire attentamente le presenti istruzioni per effettuare un utilizzo sicuro
dello strumento.
1. Inserire il puntale della fibra ottica nel manipolo assicurandosi che il puntale sia fissato nella posizione corretta (2 mm della parte di metallo rimangono visibili).
2. Inserire lo schermo protettivo arancione sul puntale della fibra ottica e direzionare la
posizione della luce secondo la necessità del dentista.
3. Collegare ládattatore DC con la spina e inserire ládattatore nella presa di corrente.
Attenzione: Assicurarsi che la luce LED rossa si accenda e che cambi subito in luce LED
verde.
4. Posizionare il manipolo nel caricabatteria per ricaricare la batteria per la prima volta
(verificare nelle seguenti illustrazioni)
** IMPORTANTE :
> Assicurarsi che la ricarica completa della batteria
sia di almeno 5 ore, prima che lo strumento venga

REGOLAZIONE TEMPO:
> Una volta scelta la funzione da utilizzare, premere il pulsante "TIME" per almeno 2
secondi (fino a quando apparirà il numero lampeggiante sul pannello di controllo),
tenere premuto il pulsante, dopo un secondo sarà possibile modificare il tempo.
Ad ogni pressione del pulsante corrisponde un secondo.
UTILIZZO :
> Dopo aver regolato tempo e modalità di utilizzo, premere il pulsante "START".
> Per fermare l'operazione premere nuovamente il pulsante in qualsiasi momento.
> Modalità automatica di risparmio energia: l'apparecchio si spegnerà automaticamente se non verrà utilizzato per più di 90 secondi; comunque l'operazione rimarrà
memorizzata e la lampada ripartirà nella stessa modalità premendo il pulsante START.
> La "modalità 1,8 secondi" può essere utilizzata per 30 cicli consecutivi. Precauzione:

Sterilisatie van de fiber optic :
Voor het eerste gebruik en vervolgens na elk gebruik dient de fiber optic lichtgeleider te
worden gedesinfecteerd en gesteriliseerd. De fiber optic lichtgeleider is te steriliseren in
een standaard autoclaaf (135° graden).
NB: verwijder de oranje « guide tips » van de fiber optic lichtgeleider alvorens te
steriliseren.
Reinigen van de HS LED 1200:
Indien de handgreep of de oplader gereinigd dient te worden dan kan dat met een droge
doek of een doek die geimpregneerd is met een neutraal schoonmaakmiddel.
NB: Gebruik geen oplosmiddel of schurend schoonmaakmiddel aangezien dat de handgreep van het bedieningspaneel kan beschadigen.

INSTALLATIE :
**Gaarne de navolgende instructies nauwgezet uitvoeren om de juiste functionaliteit te
waarborgen.
1. Druk de fiber optic in het handstuk tot het gefixeerd is (2mm van het metalen gedeelte
blijft zichtbaar)
2. Plaats een van de oranje tips op de fiber optic en richt deze naar wens teneinde de
ogen te beschermen tegen de lichtbron.
3. Alvorens de oplader aan te sluiten op het lichtnet dient eerst de DC adapter aan de
oplader te worden aangesloten.
** NB : Het rode lichtje dat nu gaat branden dient direct over te gaan naar een groen
lichtje.
4. Plaats nu de handgreep in de houder om de batterij op te laden.
** BELANGRIJK :
> Voor de levensduur van de batterij is het van
groot belang de handgreep ten minste 5 uur op te
laden alvorens de HS LED 1200 te gebruiken.
> Indien de batterij bijna leeg is zal het een minuut
lang signalen afgeven om de gebruiker eraan te herineren het apparaat te laden.
> Voor optimale levensduur de batterij niet
continu laden.

Modus:
Er zijn drie modi ter beschikking. Elke modus geeft de gebruiker een tijdsduur van 0
t/m 90 seconden.

TIJD INSTELLEN:
> Na het kiezen van de modus, druk eenmaal twee seconden lang op de Tijdschakelaar
(totdat het het nummer in het LED Display begint te knipperen), druk nogmaals om tijd toe
te voegen. Een seconde per druk.
> Tijdsduur begint op te lopen indien men de Tijdschakelaar achtereenvolgend blijft indrukken
BEHANDELING:
> Na het instellen van modus en tijd, op de Startschakelaar drukken om de behandeling te starten.
> Nogmaals drukken om te stoppen.
> Auto Power Saving modus: het apparaat zal automatisch uitschakelen als het 90 seconden lang niet gebruikt wordt.
> Onder modus 1,8 seconden kan men een cyclus van 30 opeenvolgende behandelingen
starten. Voorzichtig: Bij een overschreiding van 30 cycli (mode 1,8 seconden) kan oververhitting ontstaan die kan resulteren in gevaarlijke oververhitting van de patient zijn tanden.

HET AFKOELINGSMECHANISME :

> Het afkoelingsmechanisme treedt in
