DAY, Bilingual Mass on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and
Thursday 7:00 a.m. in English. A beautiful way of
Thanking the Lord for all his wonderful blessings.

CCD CLASS INFORMATION
Parents, be aware of scheduling for CCD over
Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. Thanksgiving
break, there shall be no classes on the 27th of
November. Christmas break, no CCD classes
December 25 and January 1, 2016. Classes will
resume January 8, 2016.

Jesus foretold many signs that would shake peoples and nations. The signs which God uses are
meant to point us to a higher spiritual truth and reality of his kingdom which does not perish or fade
away, but endures for all eternity. God works through many events and signs to purify and renew us
in hope and to help us set our hearts more firmly on him and him alone. How would you respond if
someone prophesied that your home, land, or place of worship would be destroyed?

MASS OF LIGHT
The month of November is dedicated for the faithful
departed. We will have a Mass of Light in our parish
on Monday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m. in English
and Mass of Light will be celebrated in Spanish
Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m. Both masses
will be celebrated in the Church. Please sign up
with your name and names of those whom you will
be offering a light to. For more information please

JUBILEE YEAR OF MERCY:
South West Deanery will conclude the Jubilee Year
of Mercy celebrations on Thursday November 17.
We will have confessions from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00
p.m. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated by Most Rev.
Bishop Michael Olson at 6:30 p.m. We will have
people come from other parishes that belong to our
deanery. We will have many priests available for
confessions. All the Faithful who receive sacrament
of Reconciliation, go through the Holy Door of Mercy
and participate in the Holy Eucharist will receive one
year plenary indulgence. You are invited to be part
of these celebrations and receive the Grace of God.

Año de Jubileo de la Misericordia el Jueves 17 de
Noviembre. Tendremos Confesiones de las 5:00 a
las 6:00 de la tarde. La Santa Eucaristia se celebrara
por el Rev. Obispo Michael Olson a las 6:30 P.M.
Tendremos gente de otras parroquias que pertenecen
a nuestro decanato. Tendremos varios sacerdotes

KNOW MORE ABOUT JUBILEE YEAR
How do I obtain the plenary indulgence? To obtain the indulgence, one must:
1.
Take a pilgrimage and enter the Door of Mercy at the designated church in
your deanery, or come to Our Mother of Mercy Parish — the diocese’s principal
church for the Holy Year.
2.
Receive the sacrament of Reconciliation and the Eucharist within a week
before or after your pilgrimage.
While at the church, make a profession of faith and pray for the intentions of
Pope Francis for the Church and the world. The selection of prayers is up to the individual, but should include
at least an Our Father. It could also include the pope’s prayer for the Jubilee Year of Mercy, or other prayers.
What else should I know about the plenary indulgence? According to the Apostolic Penitentiary, plenary
indulgences can be applied to oneself or to the souls of the deceased. The indulgence can be received
once a day. Exceptions on how to receive the indulgence have been made for the sick, homebound, and
imprisoned.
