Mrs. Bartley’s ESL Classes
This school year has flown by! With testing behind us, we can focus on all
that we have learned and accomplished this year! In addition to practicing
our language skills with reading and writing, students have mastered a
variety of concepts in all subject areas. In math, students learned
multiplication, fractions, and graphing. In reading, we tried different
strategies to learn reading skills, like main idea, details, adjectives, and
connecting to the text. I am so proud of my hardworking team this year. I
hope everyone has a relaxing summer break—you have earned it! Don’t
forget to read over the summer, and visit the local library branches for lots
of exciting activities! -–Mrs. Bartley
Este año escolar ha movido rápidamente! Desde terminaron todos los exams,
podemos enfoquemos en todo ha aprendido y hecho este año! En adición a
practicamos con las destrezas del idioma inglés, los estudiantes han
mostrado maestría en una variedad de conceptos en todos sujetos. En
matemáticas, aprendieron multiplicación, fracciones, y usando gráficos. En
lectura, tratamos estrategias diferentes para encontrar en texto el idea
principal, detalles, y adjetivos, y aprendimos como hacer conexiones al texto.
Estoy muy orgullosa de mi equipo que siempre trabaja duro. Espero que
todos tengan un verano bueno y relajante—lo han ganado!
