Mr. Moreno, with 16 years working in the School District environment, brings 14
years of School District finance experience. Prior to joining the Riverside School
District family Mr. Moreno served as the Financial Services Supervisor for the
Roosevelt School District No. 66. While at Roosevelt School District he also
served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer, B

Bookkeeper and School Attendance Clerk. Having climbed up the “School
District ladder,” Mr. Moreno brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the
school finance field. Such areas include Budget and Finance, Grants Management,
Managemen
Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets and all other areas associated
with the daily business operations of a school district.
Mr. Moreno began his School Finance career immediately after his honorable
discharge as an enlisted member of the United States Marines Corps, in which he
rose to the rank of Sergeant, E
E-5,
5, in January of 1994. His Military Occupational
Specialty in Personnel Administration prompted his interest to pursue a similar
field after his discharge thus, School Attendance Cl
Clerk.
Mr. Moreno majored in Aeronautical Engineering at Arizona State University
before his sense of duty, and long child dream, prompted him to join the United
States Marine Corps to serve his country. He also attended Glendale Community
College in pursuitt of his Accounting degree while a Marine Reservist and full time
employee at Roosevelt School District.
