INTRODUCCIÓN DEL OPERADOR DEL PROGRAMA Durante su segundo año (2014), el programa de Inglés de Supervivencia y Turismo, desarrollado por la Alcaldía de Medellín a través de la Secretaría de Educación (Medellín Multilingüe), la Subsecretaría de Turismo y Lexicom como operador, fue estructurado de manera tal que se diera continuidad al proceso de aprendizaje ya iniciado en el año 2013 y, a su vez, abriera puertas a un conocimiento más variado y profundo. Es así como se decide dividir el curso en cuatro módulos de 45 horas, de la siguiente manera: El material de este folleto fue compilado por Lexicom a partir del producido por el Centro Colombo Americano (operador del primer año del programa) con el fin de ajustarlo al curso de estudiantes nuevos para el año 2014. El contenido del texto fue seleccionado para estudiantes denominados categoría B. Es decir, aquellas personas pertenecientes a los siguientes gremios: 



