Christ is Risen! Christ has truly Risen! The message of Easter is a message of hope. With
all that’s going on in our world—isn’t this exactly what we need to hear? As Christians the
resurrection of Jesus from the dead sustains our hope. If God the Father can raise His only Son
from death to life…imagine what He can do in our lives..if we only allow Him!
We would like to thank everyone who did the “extra” during these busy days: to our
sacristans, lectors, ushers, altar servers, choirs, Eucharistic ministers, those who volunteered in
the church and office and all of our paid staff! Great job!
Finally, we welcome anyone who is with us today for the first time or after a long time!
Please feel at home here in St Bartholomew Church. You are welcome! If we can assist you in any

EASTER RETREAT AT SEMINARY
MONDAY APRIL 4 TO WED APRIL 6
WITH FR REPLOGLE (ENGLISH)
ENGLISH 3 DAY RETREAT APRIL 4, 5, & 6 Fr Replogle, the Jesuit priest who offers mass here each Sunday,
along with Fr Rick will offer a 3 day retreat at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Lloyd Harbor
New York on April 4, 5, and 6. The theme of the retreat will be focused on Mercy and Forgiveness. The total
cost of the retreat is $225 per person. It includes: round trip transportation, a private room and bathroom
for two nights, lunch and dinner on Mon April 4, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Tuesday, Apr 5 and
breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, April 6. This will be a wonderful opportunity to get away and spend
quality time in prayer with the Lord. There’s more than 200 acres to walk (the grounds are beautiful) and
the building includes many chapels, a library as well as other rooms for relaxation. There’s space for 35
people and like last year…the list will fill up quickly. Call the rectory to reserve your spot!

We will offer a 5 week course to adults
(18 and over) who would like to receive the
sacrament of confirmation on
Pentecost Sunday – May 15, 2016.

los adultos (18 años y mas) a quien le gustaría
recibir el Sacramento de la Confirmación el
Domingo de Pentecostés - 15 de Mayo, 2016.
Here’s what will be required: We will need an
updated (new) copy of your certificate of
baptism You need to be a registered
parishioner of St. Bartholomew and attend
mass every Sunday You will need to attend all
5 classes As you know, if you are not married in
the church (married civilly) or living in a
relationship you cannot receive any sacrament
until the issue is resolved.
Esto es lo que se requiere: Vamos a necesitar
algunas actualizaciones (nuevas) copia de su
certificado de bautismo. Usted necesita estar
registrado en nuestra parroquia de San
Bartolomé y asistir a misa todos los domingos.
