on Sapient Systems
Foreword
In this fourth Workshop on Sapient Systems we are already in a generative
stage. We would like to show the Sapient Systems overlappings with apparently
remote areas such as basic Biology (Garcı́a and de-la-Mora), and the Phylosophy
of Science (McNabb or Noriega). We would also like to present the common and
different characteristics / aspects that these Systems have with near fields such
as Artificial Intelligence (Garcı́a-López et al.), or Brain Organization (NegreteMartı́nez). In addition, Mayorga presents as a key note a formalization of Sapient
Systems from a Cybernetic point of view.
