‫‪BLESSING FOR YOUR CHILDREN‬‬
‫!‪Aventura Chabad wishes you G’mar Chatima Tova‬‬
‫‪This traditional blessing is give by parents to their‬‬
‫‪children before the onset of Yom Kippur right after‬‬
‫‪the Seudat Hamafseket, which is the last meal‬‬
‫‪eaten before Yom Kippur.‬‬
‫הנח את הידיים שלך על הראש מהילד\ה שלך ואמר שהבא‪:‬‬
‫ֲה ָבת ו ְי ְִר ת ‪,‬‬
‫ו ִיִהי ָר צ ן ִמ ִל ְפ נֵי ִבי נ ֶ ַ ָ ַמי ִם ‪ ֶ ,‬י ִ ֵ ן ְ ִל ְ‬

‫ברכת הבנים‬
BLESSING FOR YOUR CHILDREN
Place your hands on the head of your child and recite the following:
FOR A SON: May G-d make you like Efrayim and Menashe
FOR A DAUGHTER: May G-d make you like Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, and Leah
May G-d bless you and keep you. May G-d shine His radiance upon you and show you
favor. May G-d turn His Presence to you, and give you peace.
May it be the will of our Father in Heaven to place into your heart love and fear of Him. May the
fear of G-d be upon you always so that you never sin. May your yearnings be for Torah and
mitzvot. May your eyes see straight ahead, may your mouth speak wisdom, and may your
heart feel awe.
May your hands engage in mitzvot, your feet run to fulfill the will of your Father in Heaven. May
He grant you sons and daughters who are righteous, who will be engaged in Torah and mitzvot
throughout their lives.
May your livelihood be blessed and may your sustenance be earned in a permitted manner,
with ease and bounty from His generous hand, rather than from the gifts of flesh and blood;
sustenance that will leave you free for the service of G-d. May you be inscribed and sealed for
a good and long life among all the righteous of Israel, Amen!
Pon tus manos sobre la cabeza de tu hijo/a y recita lo siguiente:
PARA UN HIJO: Que Hashem te otorgue como a Efraim y como a Menashé.
PARA UN HIJA: Que Hashem te otorgue como a Sara, Rivka, Rajel y Lea
Que ilumine Hashem su Rostro hacia ti y te agracie. Que eleve Hashem Su Rostro hacia
Ti y te otorgue el Shalom.
Sea la voluntad de D´s llenar tu corazón de amor y temor a D´s durante toda tu vida de manera
tal que no cometas errores, y tu vida siempre esté ámbito de la Torá y las Mitzvot. Que tus ojos
vean cosas correctas, tus labios hablen comentarios de Torá y tu corazón esté repleto de
temor a D´s
Que tus manos estén siempre ocupadas en Mitzvot y tus piernas corran para hacer la voluntad
de tu creador, y de tus hijos e hijas rectos, ocupados en Torá y Mitzvot toda tu vida.
Que te dé mucha bendición y sustento con tranquilidad. Y nunca tu bendición dependa de los
seres humanos ni de la caridad, sino que D´s sea la fuente de tu sustento. Que seas inscripto
y sellado en el libro de la larga vida dentro del entorno de los Tzadikim". Amen!
