First Reading — Peter is an eyewitness: The Lord is
risen (Acts 10:34a, 37-43).
Psalm — This is the day the Lord has made; let us
rejoice and be glad (Psalm 118).
(1) Second Reading — All who are baptized, set your
hearts in heaven (Colossians 3:1-4) or
(2) Second Reading — Christ our Passover is sacrificed;
therefore let us celebrate (1 Corinthians 5:6b-8).

1. On Divine Mercy Sunday, take part in the Divine
Mercy prayers and devotions held in honor of the
Divine Mercy.
2. Go to confession (must be free of all sin even,
venial sin).
3. Receive Holy Communion, in a state of grace, that
day.
4. Pray for Holy Father (ex: Our Father, Hail Mary,
and Glory Be).

bands in OC, Los Salazar. The
family trio, consisting of father,
daughter, and son, will be joining
us at the 6:30 PM Saturday night
Mass on May 9 in celebration of Dia
de las Madres (Mother's Day), and
will also perform during the
potluck following our Mass that
evening. Bring your favorite dish
to share with other parishioners
and friends, and come enjoy the
beautiful music of Los Salazar.

TRAFFICKING in our city”. We
urgently need the help of faith
minded citizens to help man our
“STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING
BOOTH”, set up each Friday on the
boardwalk at the Huntington Beach
Pier. We are handing out awareness
literature of this sinful violation on
our children to be obliterated. This is
a great way for young adults to earn

MEN’S ANNUAL RETREAT
It is time to sign-up for our Annual Men’s Retreat
at MATER DOLOROSA PASSIONIST RETREAT
CENTER on April 10-12. All presentations are in
the English language, but men from every cultural
background are invited. The theme for this year is
Holy Waiting…In a world that can’t wait. All men
of the parish, high school age young men and any
relatives or friends of parishioners even though they
may go to another parish are welcome. This is a time
for separating ourselves from the usual distractions
of life and in a setting of beauty and solitude and
receive God’s blessings. This may become a life
