12th Sunday Ordinary Time
PASTOR’S PAGE / PÁGINA DEL PÁRROCO
On this 11th Sunday of Ordinary Time our community also celebrate’s Father’s Day. On behalf
of the entire Catholic community of All Saints-St.
Anthony I wish all of our men who serve as fathers a most blessed, holy, and happy day. We
thank you for the tireless service and sacrifice
you give to your families.
Be assured of our prayers, love and support.
May the following blessing follow you throughout
the year. God bless. Peace. Fr Peter
Heavenly Father, Today we ask You to
bless our earthly fathers for the many
times they reflected the love, strength,
generosity, wisdom and mercy that You
exemplify in Your relationship with us,
Your children.
We honor our fathers for putting our
needs above their own convenience and
comfort; for teaching us to show courage
and determination in the face of adversity; for challenging us to move beyond self
-limiting boundaries; for modeling the
qualities that would turn us into responsible, principled, caring adults.
Not all our fathers lived up to these ideals.
Give them the grace to acknowledge and
learn from their mistakes. Give us the
grace to extend to them the same forgiveness that you offer us all. Help us to
resist the urge to stay stuck in past bitterness, instead, moving forward with humility and peace of heart.
We ask your blessing on those men who
served as father figures in our lives when
our biological fathers weren't able to do
so. May the love and selflessness they
showed us be returned to them in all their
relationships, and help them to know that
their influence has changed us for the better.- Tony Rossi

nuestras oraciones, amor y apoyo.

Give new and future fathers the guidance
they need to raise happy and holy children, grounded in a love for God and other people - and remind these fathers that
treating their wives with dignity, compassion and respect is one of the greatest
gifts they can give their children.
We pray that our fathers who have passed
into the next life have been welcomed into
Your loving embrace, and that our family
will one be day be reunited in your heavenly kingdom. In union with St. Joseph,
whom you entrusted with Your Son, we
ask Your generous blessings today and
every day. Amen.
Second collections June 19th and 26th
Second collection this weekend is for the Retired Priest in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Second collection next weekend is for Peter’s
Pence. Your contributions will allow our Holy
Father to support victims of war, and natural
disasters and all our brothers and sisters who
face the greatest needs.
preguntamos Sus generosas bendiciones
hoy y cada día. Amen.

A Year of Mercy/Un Año Misericordia
Palabra en Palabra-One Word at a Time: Notice/Observar
NOTICE
The first requirement to live
mercifully is to notice those
who need mercy, kindness, and
forgiveness. If we are distracted
or absorbed in ourselves, we
will never notice. And we will
never be merciful. The first step
is to look. “There was a rich
man who was dressed in purple
and ne linen and who feasted
sumptuously every day. And at
his gate lay a poor man named
Lazarus.” (Luke 16:19–20)
OBSERVAR
El primer requisito para llevar
una vida misericordiosa es
percatarnos de aquellos
que necesitan misericordia,
bondad y perdón. Si nos
distraemos o pensamos
solo en nosotros, nunca los
veremos. Y nunca seremos
misericordiosos. El primer
paso es observar. Había un
hombre rico, que vestía de púrpura
y lino y todos los días hacía
espléndidos banquetes.-Echado a
la puerta del rico había un pobre
cubierto de llagas llamado Lázaro
(Lucas 16:19–20).
