This is a somewhat romantic French style
building that dates back to 1906. It still has the
original stained glass windows and most of the
furniture, tapestries and paintings besides the
stair banister that dates back to those days.
EMBANKMENT
About 1,000 meters long with a 130-meter
long pier, it is usually quite busy given that this is
where tourists embark on tours down the
coastline, to Scorpion and Mezcala Islands.

Dating back to the XVI century, it is a blend of
austere and bold architecture. It houses the

Located 5 kilometers from the city of
Chapala, its shape recalls this arachnid. The
restaurants in this treed spot serve traditional
food from the region. It is a great spot for
contemplating the lovely landscape around
the lake, and it has a pier.

OLD TRAIN STATION
Inaugurated in 1920, it was in service for only
six years. It belonged to the Gonzalez Gortazar
family until 1992 when they donated it to the
municipal government. It presently houses the
“Jesus Gonzalez Gallo” Cultural Center.

This folkloric space is where you can
purchase diverse local creations and wares
from other states such as woven and yarn fabric,
typical clothing, pottery, silver, wooden and
glass objects and leather goods. It is located in
