DAILY MASS OFFERING IS $15.00
The Mass is the "source and summit" of the Life of a
believer; we naturally look to that Holy Sacrifice of
Christ, containing the perfect prayer, to offer for our
deceased relatives and friends. The following
masses are available:

Please note that the Sun. 7PM Mass is suspended
from June 19th through Sept. 4th. The 7PM Mass
will resume on Sept. 11th.
You can reserve a Mass for a deceased relative or
friend or a particular intention for someone living.
Call the rectory, visit the office, or send a letter to
the office or putting your request in an envelope and
place it in the collection – marked: Mass Intention.

PROPAGATION OF FAITH
Our second collection next weekend will be to
support the work of missionaries. Join in the
worldwide mission of Jesus! By our Baptism, we
are all missionaries-called to share our faith in Jesus
Christ with our family and friends, with our
neighbors, indeed, with the whole world. Next
Sunday, we are invited to make a special
commitment as missionaries. We are invited to join
in the worldwide mission of Jesus by joining the
Propagation of the Faith. In making this
commitment, we pledge to pray daily for the
missionary work of the Church, offering our
personal crosses for missionaries and those they
serve and offer regular financial help in support of
those who bring the “Good News” of Jesus to our
brothers and sisters throughout the Missions.

OLMC BEREAVEMENT GROUP
If you have lost a family member or friend, you
know how difficult the adjustment can be. The
OLMC Bereavement Program for adults will help
guide you through the grieving process in a safe and
loving environment. We will meet on June 21,

THE JOY OF LOVE
The following is a series of comments and excerpts
from the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia.
The Introductory chapter sets forth the principles
that Pope Francis enunciates with respect to the
formulation of this document. [Remember this
exhortation is the fruit of Synod of Bishops that
Pope Francis convenes under the consideration of
the Family]. In Paragraph 3 he writes about the
need to interpret church teaching:
Each country or region, moreover, can seek
solutions better suited to its culture and sensitive to
its traditions and local needs. For “cultures are in
fact quite diverse and every general principle…
needs to be enculturated, if it is to be respected and
applied.”
SOBRE EL AMOR EN LA FAMILIA
Cada semana quiero citar y comentar sobre este
Exhortación Apostólica del Papa Francisco.
El capítulo introductorio presenta los principios por
lo cual, El Papa Francisco ha empleado en la
formación de este documento. [Recuerda que esta
Exhortación es el fruto del Sínodo de los Obispos
que el Papa convocó sobre la pastoral de la Familia.]
En el Párrafo núm. 3 el escribe sobre la necesidad
para interpretar las enseñanzas de la iglesia:
Además, en cada país o región se pueden buscar
soluciones más inculturadas, atentas a las
tradiciones y a los desafíos locales, porque «las
culturas son muy diferentes entre sí y todo
principio general [...] necesita ser inculturado si
quiere ser observado y aplicado»[3].
