Prince of Peace School will be offering After School Care during the 2016-2017
school year. The hours will be after school until 5:30pm. More information will  May 23: School Committee

Announcements

Recess Time: The parking lot at our 25th Street campus is closed during the school day. Please use the
parking lot on 24th Street or park on the street. We need to keep the parking lot free of cars entering
and exiting to keep our children safe during recess times.

Parking: Please watch the signs. Do not park in No Parking areas for any length of time. Remember that
vehicles must not be parked in front of fire hydrants for any length of time. Cars parked in these areas
may be ticketed.

Traffic Safety: Please follow the traffic patterns when dropping off and picking up your child. Watch for
children in the parking lots!

Recess & Before School: All students enjoy recess time every day. It is important that your child is
dressed appropriately for the weather so recess is an enjoyable time. Please check the weather report
every day to ensure that your child is prepared to be outside before school and during recess.
Carnival News! This year's Family Carnival will be Thursday, May 26, 5-8pm at the 22nd Street campus. All
school families are invited to attend. All children must be accompanied by an adult, age 18 or older. This year
we are also extending the invitation to the parish members of Prince of Peace, St. Vincent de Paul and St.
Hyacinth Parishes. Come join the fun!

Tiempo del Recreo; El estacionamiento en nuestro plantel de la calle 25 está cerrado durante el horario
escolar. Por favor use el estacionamiento de la calle 24 o estacionarse en la calle. Tenemos que mantener el estacionamiento libre de autos que entran y salen para mantener a nuestros niños seguros durante el tiempo de recreo.
Estacionamiento: Por favor, vea las señales. No se estacione en áreas prohibidas. Recuerde que los
vehículos no pueden ser estacionados adelante de las tomas de agua para incendios en ningún momento. Todo auto estacionado en estas áreas será multado.
Seguridad del Trafico: Por favor siga los patrones de tráfico al dejar y recoger a su hijo (s). !Tenga cuidado con los niños en el estacionamiento!
Recreo y antes de clases: Los estudiantes disfrutan de la hora del recreo todos los días. Es importante
que su hijo/a este vestido apropiadamente para el clima, así el recreo será un tiempo agradable.. Por
favor consulte el informe del tiempo todos los días para asegurarse de que su hijo/a está preparado para estar afuera antes de la escuela y durante el recreo.
¡Noticias sobre el Carnaval!
Este año el Carnaval Familiar será el jueves, 26 de mayo de 5 a 8 pm en el plantel
de la calle 22. Todas las familias de la escuela están invitados a asistir. Todos los niños deben estar acompañados por un adulto, mayor de 18 años. Este año también estamos extendiendo la invitación a los miembros
de las parroquias de Príncipe de la Paz, San Vicente de Paul y San Jacinto. ¡Venga y únase a la diversión!
