HAMILTON DISTRIBUTING OPEN HOUSE

Hamilton Distributing
Company, hosted its
first ever Open House
on June 12th. They
invited customers to
come out to better
acquaint themselves
with Hamilton’s people,
products and purpose. Sweet was represented by Mike
Gannon and Mike Kirkham, who displayed a conveyor
and leg and helped point out key differences of Sweet
equipment versus other MHE. The Open House was well
attended and deemed a success by Hamilton.
“SPREAD THE WORD TO END
THE WORD” 5K SPONSORSHIP
Sweet Manufacturing Company recently
helped sponsor the “Spread the Word to End
the Word” 5K that was held on June 23rd by
TAC Enterprises and Special Olympics. This
event focuses on raising the consciousness
of society about the dehumanizing and
hurtful effects of the word “retard(ed)” and
encourages people to pledge to stop using the R-word.

ADVERTISING/CO-OP OPPORTUNITY
We partnered
with our dealer
in
Michigan
to develop a
postcard that
was
mailed
throughout Michigan to past and present customers,
as well as some targeted new customers. We handled
the development and printing of the postcard while a
joint mailing list was comprised. More than 200 of these
postcards were mailed out, and we shared the cost with
our dealer as part of the Sweet co-op marketing program.
This is a relatively simple and inexpensive program that can

Sweet recently conducted a training session on our product line with our
client in Colombia during a recent trip to their facility. We also conducted
a similar training session earlier this year with our dealer in Kansas. We
will be holding another product line training session at our office this
November for our dealers. Please let us know if you would like to attend
the upcoming November training in Springfield, Ohio.
A complete range of Sweet® equipment
has been installed at this commercial grain
facility in central Wisconsin. The facility
processes grain at up to 700 MTPH. Its
most recent expansion project is currently
being installed and includes a new SilverSweet® bucket elevator and a new
Flive-Veyor® horizontal drag conveyor.
Additionally, an existing Flite-Veyor® horizontal drag conveyor is being extended. This facility has been adding
equipment as part of numerous projects over the last 22 years.

A new 100 foot Apollo III Silver-Sweet® bucket elevator was recently installed next to an existing elevator at this
grain facility in southwestern Michigan. The new Sweet® elevator now allows the facility to process grain at up
to 80 MTPH and was selected to increase capacity and throughput in the operation.
