- Me and my family would like to thank you for the
amazing holiday DEBRA Spain offered us. Marbella is a
great city, we loved it, the apartment was great, it had
everything we needed and more stuff on top - I really liked
the wound care room and the huge balcony. The location
was amazing and if I had rented a scooter I would have
exlpored more of the city and not got too tired - next time
maybe.
The DEBRA team is great and doing a wonderful job on
getting funding to keep the apartment going. The nurses
were very very good, they are young, beautiful, very friendly
and willing to learn more things every time which is great
for us EB patients. I know that as an EB patient myself
I approve very hard on someone but they ticked all the
boxes. I have been to other hospices and not let any other
nurses do my dressings but I felt really comfortable with
Esther and Nati and would let them do my dressings every
time. Another good thing is that they speak English as well
because its hard to explain EB to someone else.Thank you
again and hope to see you guys soon

- We spent a lovely week at the respite home and it
was all thanks to the marvelous job you are all doing

- A few days ago we were at the DEBRA respite home,
together with Jana´s parents, because we´d met previously at
the National meeting and decided to travel together to
the respite home.
The apartment is really well situated, next to the beach,
"!5 & *& 6!& 7',&8*9"2& 96!-!& :*4& 1("& 0",& (''& "!1!%%(-:&
amenities such as bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and it
is beautiful! The apartment has a lot of commodities such
as parking, elevator, bath, stretcher for the wound care,
wheel-chair, very comfortable beds, a huge terrace and a
swimming pool on the roof terrace with incredible views.
The management company who provides general maintenance were also very nice.
There are also places which aren´t too far and must be
visited, such as Ronda, incredibly beautiful. And if you manage to be at the home when one of the charity golf events
is going on, don´t miss it because you´ll see with your own
eyes how much DEBRA does. I´d like to encourage all
members with EB to visit the respite home, the DEBRA
team will make you feel at home.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank, from our
heart, all of the DEBRA team and DEBRA volunteers
for making this respite home possible. Thank you for the
great effort you do. You not only just do your job, you
are really special people, who reach out with your
humbleness and kindness and without your special
