Installation and Care
English
Recommended for kitchen backsplashes, accent walls, bathroom walls and tub surrounds. Sheets can be used in various ways to enhance your project.
Installation
1. Apply a premium grade white thin-set mortar using a 3/16 inch V-notch trowel.
2. Set tiles, apply pressure or tap the surfaces with a rubber grout float to ensure all tiles are bonded and
aligned properly. Use a level periodically to check the grout joints.
3. After 24 hours, mix and apply grout. (Read important information below)
• Tiles with metal or glass – USE UNSANDED GROUT
• Natural stone and ceramic – USE SANDED GROUT
It is very important to understand any abrasive materials or chemicals can scratch the surface of your tile.
4. Clean all excess grout immediately with a damp sponge. After 12 hours polish any remaining grout haze
with a clean dry cloth.
Cutting
A wet saw is recommended to cut mosaic tiles. A premium glass diamond blade is recommended for glass cutting. Other mosaics such as ceramic, natural
stone and metal use a standard diamond blade.
Sealing
Mosaics containing natural stone should be sealed prior to grouting. Use a premium penetrating sealer for a natural look. To darken and highlight the natural
elements of the stone, use a stone enhancing sealer. Never allow sealers to dry on glass, glazed ceramic or metal.
Care and Cleaning
Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water or any non-abrasive mild detergent.

Sellado
Los mosaicos que contengan piedra natural se deben sellar antes de aplicar la lechada de cemento. Use un sellador penetrante de primera calidad para
obtener un aspecto natural. Para oscurecer y resaltar las características naturales de la piedra, use un sellador que realce la piedra. Nunca permita que los
selladores sequen sobre vidrio, cerámica esmaltada o metal.

Coupe
Il est recommandé d’utiliser une scie à eau pour couper les carreaux de mosaïque. Il est recommandé d’utiliser une lame diamantée de première qualité pour
couper le verre. D’autres types de mosaïques, comme la céramique, la pierre naturelle et le métal, nécessitent une lame diamantée standard.
Scellage
Les mosaïques contenant de la pierre naturelle doivent être scellées avant l’application de coulis. Utilisez un scellant pénétrant de première qualité pour une
apparence naturelle. Pour assombrir et mettre en valeur les éléments naturels de la pierre, utilisez un scellant rehaussant. Ne laissez jamais les scellants
sécher sur du verre, de la céramique vernie ou du métal.
Entretien et nettoyage
Utilisez un linge doux, une éponge avec de l’eau chaude ou un détergent doux non abrasif.
