Un clásico del diseño de los últimos
tiempos, con más de 15 años, la
silla Egoa es de una comodidad
extraordinaria, pues el respaldo se
adapta a la posición de la espalda,
acompañando nuestro movimiento.
Se logra así una ergonomía
dinámica. Pero para conocerla es
necesario sentarse en ella.

La estructura es de acero cromado,
asiento tapizado en tela o piel y
las versiones en diferentes maderas,
como el cerezo natural, el haya,
el fresno, wenge, etc. Existe la
versión con ruedas que se pueden
elegir con diferentes durezas
según el suelo sobre el que se
vaya a utilizar la silla.
La madera es de origen francés de
bosques con gestión sostenible.
It is essential to sit on the Egoa to

and the chair adapts to differing

The frame is made of chromed
steel, and the seat and back are
available in a variety of woods,
upholsteries and leather.

Madera moldeada, interior con láminas de haya y
exterior con maderas naturales como el nogal,

Tornillos terminales especiales que permiten
un fácil y rápido montaje de la silla.
Con sólo 2 tornillos y la llave allen entregada
se puede montar la silla en menos de 1
minuto.
The seat and back are made of moulded plywood.
The outer layer of the plywood can be finished in a
variety of woods (beech, maple, cherry, bleached
oak, walnut or wenge), whilst the internal layers
are of beech.

An Egoa can be assembled in under one
minute with only an allen key.

A specially designed aluminium hinge attaches the
backrest to the seat. This mechanism, which has
been specially designed for the Egoa allows the
smooth gliding movement of the backrest and seat.

La silla Egoa tiene el certificado GS (German Standards) del instituto alemán TüV Rheinland. Este
certificado es el más exigente del mundo y asegura que la silla puede ser usada en los proyectos de
uso público más exigentes del mundo. Sólo un
puñado de las sillas más fuertes del mundo disponen de este certificado.
El certificado GS da fé de que la silla Egoa ha
pasado los rigurosos test exigidos por la norma
DIN 68878 - 1/01.87.

The Egoa chair has been awarded the GS (German
Standards) certificate, given by the TüV Rheinland. This is the most demanding quality certificate that a chair can attain, ensuring that the
design is extremely durable in heavy public use.
Only a handful of chair designs have been awarded this certificate. The GS certificate means that
the Egoa chair has passed the tests required in the
DIN 68878 - 1/01.87.

APILABILIDAD: La silla Egoa es apilable hasta 8
unidades. Se recomienda no apilar sillas con

STACKING: The design of Egoa allows it to be
stacked up to 8 units high. The chairs with wooden
arms are too delicate to be stacked. We recommend
metal arms or plastic arms for a regular stacking.

MOVIMIENTO EN LA SILLA EGOA
SISTEMA DE UNIÓN DE LA SILLA EGOA
PALA DE ESCRITURA DE LA SILLA EGOA
Especial mención merece en la silla Egoa su
movimiento.
Este sistema se puede aplicar a cualquier silla
existente, sin necesidad de realizarle ninguna
modificación.
La pala esta realizada en madera laminada,
como la misma silla. Normalmente la madera
es de haya. Tiene una silueta ergonómica sin
aristas para que la ropa no se enganche.
Al sentarse y apoyar la espalda en la silla el
respaldo se reclina con nosotros, y el asiento
se adelanta. Así el ángulo en el que nos
sentamos es mucho mayor y con él el
confort.
Todo este movimiento se logra mediante las
articulaciones que fijan la madera a la
estructura, y es la estructura de la silla la que
hace el trabajo de un gran muelle.
En esta silla es sin duda en la que mejor se
debe aplicar el dicho de que las sillas son
para sentarse, ya que la comodidad de la silla
es única y especial.
La unión es una pieza de varilla metálica cromada,
que se puede quitar, dejando las sillas libres.
La pala puede girar alrededor del brazo en el
que está puesta hacia arriba, de manera que
sea fácil entrar y salir de la silla.
Esta pala puede ser aplicada en cualquier silla
ya existente. Pues no requiere de ningún
tornillo para su montaje.

The movement of the seat and back are the most
important design elements to the Egoa chair.
The linking mechanism can be added to the
Egoa without any modification of the frame.
The seat and chair back respond to the sitter,
adjusting themselves according to the sitter's
weight and movement.
The chromed steel link is attached to the
frame and can be removed when not needed.
The writing tablet is made of beech plywood.
It attaches to the Egoa frame without any
screws or any modification of the chair frame.

La pieza se coloca a la estructura de la silla en
su parte de patín por presión. La unión no se
podría poner en ningún otro sitio que no sea
ese patín porque al sentarse la silla se mueve
y cada persona la mueve de manera distinta,

The linking mechanism attaches to the lower
section of the chair frame which is stationary.
The ergonomic design of the writing tablet is
comfortable to use without catching on
clothing. It is easily raised and lowered for
access by the sitter.

Respaldo con ligero movimiento, se adapta a la posición
de la espalda. El movimiento es menor que en la EGOA
de base fija porque ésta es una silla de trabajo.
The backrest of the version on castors reclines only a
little with the sitter as it is a task chair.
Tornillos terminales especiales. La parte superior de la
silla va toda montada. El único montaje que requiere la
silla es poner las ruedas en la base e insertar en la
base el cilindro y en el cilindro la parte superior. Para
realizar este montaje no se necesitan tornillos y puede
hacerse en menos de 1 minuto.
The upper part of the chair comes ready made. Assembly consists of attaching the castors to the base, the
gas lift to the base, and the seat to the gas lift.
No screws or allen keys are required, it takes under a
minute to assemble.

Las ruedas tienen autofreno, ésta es una medida
de seguridad, que impide que la silla se mueva

Se considera tono cliente a aquellos que
implican teñir una silla en un tono de
madera diferente.
Pedido mínimo 4 sillas.
Recargo color cliente:
Si quieren lacar la silla en un color diferente entonces el pedido mínimo es de 16
unidades por color.
El foam usado en la silla Egoa tapizada es
siempre ignífugo.
Las ruedas usadas en la silla Egoa son de seguridad, es decir, tienen auto-freno. Las ruedas
solo girarán cuando haya una persona sentada encima, no cuando no haya nadie usando la
silla. De esta forma se evitan accidentes que pueden suceder cuando nos vamos a sentar
sobre la silla y ésta se ha desplazado debido a algún golpe involuntario.
