En ce qui concerne les harmoniques et les facteurs de puissance, les installations d’éclairage doivent être réalisées selon la norme EN61000-3-2. Cette
dernière indique que le facteur de puissance ne doit pas être supérieur à 0,9 et les harmoniques doivent respecter les limites indiqués sur le tableau C
Pour les convertisseurs avec une puissance inférieure à 25W, les annexes A1 et A2 de la norme prévoient un facteur de puissance minimum de 0,6 et la
mesuration des harmoniques 3° et ° uniquement. Les convertisseurs de QLT sont fabriqués selon ces deux paramètres. Pour chaque convertisseur nous
précisons le facteur de puissance (donnée de la puissance maximum) sur la page du catalogue concernant. Le fabricant doit vérifier que l’installation soit
réalisées selon les paramètres de la norme. L’utilisation de convertisseurs de petite puissance (PF0,6) est interdite dans un système de grande puissance
(>25W). L’installation ne serait pas conforme aux paramètres nécessaires pour les grandes puissances.
Pour des utilisations professionnelles (hotels, centres commerciaux,etc), QLT conseille d’utiliser uniquement des convertisseurs mis en phase.
Pour des utilisations à basse puissance non professionnelles (lampes de bureau, lumières décoratives, etc). La norme SSL1 (ANSI UL) aussi indique un
facteur de puissance minimum de 0,7 pour usage non professionnel et de 0,9 pour usage professionnel. QLT fabrique des composants et, comme elle ne
connait pas l’application finale de ses produits, elle n’est pas responsable des problèmes eventuels qui arrivent à cause d’un usage erroné de ces
composants
Respecto a los harmónicos y factor de potencia, todos los sistemas de iluminación tienen que cumplir el estándar EN61000-3-2 que es: factor de potencia
mayor de 0,90 y los harmónicos dentro de los valores indicados en el esquema C. Para convertidores con potencia de salida menos de 25W, anexo A1 y
A2 de esta estándar requiere un factor de potencia de mínimo 0,60 y la medida de únicamente del tercer y quinto harmónico. QLT fabrica productos que
cumplen estos requerimientos. El factor de potencia de los drivers de QLT (medido con la máxima carga de salida) está especificado en el catálogo. El
cliente tendrá que comprobar que el sistema está realizado de acuerdo con los requisitos estándares: El uso de convertidores con factor de potencia bajo
(PF 0,6) en un sistema de alta potencia (>25W) no está permitido por lo que el sistema no cumplirá con los requisitos requeridos para sistemas de alta
potencia.
Para uso profesional (hoteles, centros comerciales, etc) QLT aconseja utilizar siempre convertidores con factor de potencia alto, mientras que para uso
residencial o para sistemas de baja potencia (lámpara de mesa, iluminación decorativa, etc) los convertidores con factor de potencia bajo serán
suficientes. Incluso la directiva SSL1 (ANSI UL) requiere un factor de potencia mínimo de 0,7 para uso residencial y de 0,9 para uso profesional. Como no
podemos saber el uso final de nuestros productos, siendo QLT fabricante de componentes, no somos responsables de posibles problemas provocados
por un uso incorrecto de los componentes.

Was Oberschwingungen und Leistungsfaktor betrifft, müssen alle Lichtsysteme gemäß Normen EN61000-3-2 verwirklicht werden und d.h.:
Leistungsfaktor höher als 0,90 und Oberschwingungen inner der Werten der Tabelle C. Für Konverter mit Ausgang niedriger als 25W, wie in Anhängen
A1 und A2 von dieser Norme angegeben, sieht man einen Leistungsfaktor von 0,60 und the Messung nur der dritte und fünfte Oberschwingungen. QLT
herstellt Produkte, die diese Anforderungen eintreffen. Für jede QLT Konverter ist Leistungsfaktor (mit max. Ausgangsleistung gemessen) in jeder
entsprechende Katalogsseite angegeben. Der Endkunde wird sich dann bei für die Anpassung an der Norme kümmern: Die Verwendung von Konvertern
mit niedrieger Leistungsfaktor (PF 0,6) in einem Hochleistungssystem (>25W) ist nicht möglich und das System wird nicht denn gemäß der Norme
verwirklicht werden.
Für professionelle Anwendungen (Hotels, Kaufhaus und so weiter) empfehlt QLT, Konverter mit einer höhere Leistungsfaktor zu verwenden, während es
für domestische Anwendungen oder Systeme mit niedrieger Ausgangsleistung (Tischlampen, Dekorativ und so weiter) auch Konverter mit niedriger
Leistungsfaktor ausreichend ist. Auch die Richtlinie SSL1 (ANSI UL) fragt nach einer min. Leistungsfaktor von 0,7 für domestische Anwendung und von
0,9 für berüfliche Anwendungen. Da wir den Endanwendung nick wissen können, ist QLT als Komponentehersteller für eine falsche Verwendung der
Komponenten selbst nicht verantwortlich.

Systems
With concern to harmonics and power factor, all lighting system must comply with standard EN61000-3-2 and that is: power factor higher than 0,90 and
harmonics within values of scheme C. For drivers with output power lower than 25W, Annex A1 and A2 of this standard require a minimum power factor of
0,60 and the measurement only of the third and fifth harmonics. QLT manufactures products that meet both such requirements. For every QLT driver
power factor (measured with max output load) is specified at every driver’s catalogue page. The customer will have then to verify that the system is done
according to standard’s requirements: the use of drivers with low power factor (PF 0,6) in a high-power system (>25W) is not allowed and so the system will
not be compliant with requirements needed insted for high-power system.
For professional use (hotels, shopping centre and so on) QLT advices to always use drivers with high power factor, while for residential use or for systems
of low power (table lamp, decorative lights and so on) drivers with lower power factors could be sufficient. Even the directive SSL1 (ANSI UL) requires a
minimum power factor of 0,7 for residential use and of 0,9 for professional use. As we cannot know the final use of our products, being QLT producer of
components, we are not responsible for eventual further problems coming from a wrong use of the components themselves.

La norma EN61000-3-2, che stabilisce i requisiti che un impianto di illuminazione deve rispettare in termini di fattore di potenza ed armoniche, prevede dei
limiti che possiamo riassumere come segue: fattore di potenza superiore a 0,9 e armoniche entro i limiti indicati in tabella C. Per gli alimentatori con
potenza inferiore ai 25W, gli annessi A1 e A2 della norma prevedono un fattore di potenza minimo di 0,6 e la misurazione della terza e quinta armonica.
Gli alimentatori QLT soddisfano entrambi i requisiti: il fattore di potenza è indicato sulla pagina di catalogo relativa (misura alla massima potenza).
L’utilizzatore ha il compito di verificare che l’ impianto venga realizzato secondo i requisiti previsti dalla norma. L’ utilizzo di alimentatori di piccola potenza
(PF inferiore a 0,6) in sistemi di potenza superiore ai 25W rende l’impianto non conforme ai requisiti fissati dalla norma vigente.
Come previsto anche dalla direttiva SSL1 (ANSI UL), per impieghi professionali (grossi impianti) è necessario l’utilizzo di alimentatori completamente
rifasati (fattore di potenza minimo 0,9). Gli alimentatori con rifasamento ridotto (fattore di potenza minimo di 0,7) sono invece da utilizzare in piccoli impianti
(lampade da tavolo, luci decorative, etc.).

Alimentatore a tensione costante. Mantiene la tensione di uscita costante da vuoto ( senza carico ) al massimo carico
consentito. Non è adatto a comandare i Led direttamente , utilizzare lampadine e moduli Led che incorporano un regolatore e
che riportano in etichetta 12 o 24V Vdc.
Constant voltage driver. It keeps the output voltage constant from zero to maximum output power (even without load). Not
suitable for driving leds directly: to be used with led bulbs or led modules with built-in regulator (their label must mention 12VDC
or 24VDC).

Constant current and voltage driver. It keeps the output voltage constant from zero to maximum load, once the maximum ouput
power has been reached, the driver starts to regulate the current, by decreasing the output voltage up to when the minimum
allowed load is reached.

High wattage professional LED lighting systems are always more and more common. The Led drivers by QLT, if used in a three-phase network, must be
connected as indicated here under. A typical lighting system is built up dividing the drivers to be used in three groups with the same number of drivers,
where each group is then controlled by a bipolar switch, so as to protect the components by overtension. Only use drivers with a power factor over 0,85.
Always remember to install components in a well aerated place, respecting a min. distance of 5m inbetween the devices.
Avoid to use one single 4-contact main switch, as the probable advanced intervention of the neutral contact during operation and the subsequent upset of
the phases may bring to a destruction of the installed transformers.
High Power Led Systeme sind immer mehr verwendet. QLT Konverter, wenn in einer drei-Phasen Kreis, müssen zwischeneinander angeschlossen sein,
wie hier unten gezeigt. Eine typische Beleuchtungssystem ist in drei Gruppen mit der gleiche Konverteranzahl verwirklicht; jede Gruppe ist dann durch
einen Bipolarschalter gesteuert, um die Komponenten von möglichen Überspannungen zu schutzen. Nur Konverter mit Leistungsfaktor >= 0,85. Immer
in einer belüftete Stelle alles einsetzen und einen Mindestabstand von 5cm unten den Geräten zu nehmen.
Keinen 4-Kontakten Hauptschalter verwenden, da die Vorauseintretung des Neutralleiters und die entsprechende Phasenabweichungen zu den
unbedingten Ausfall von einem oder mehreren Konverter führen kann.

Les convertisseurs QLT, lorsqu’on les utilise dans des installations alimentées par une ligne triphasée, doivent être branchés entre eux SELON LES
INDICATIONS CI-DESSOUS.
Une installation idéale doit avoir trois groupes du même nombre de convertisseurs. Chaque groupe doit être piloté par un interrupteur bipolaire afin de
protéger les composants des surtensions éventuelles. Il faut utiliser uniquement des convertisseurs avec un facteur de puissance >=0,85.
Ne pas oublier d’installer toujours dans un endroit ventilé en respectant une distance minimum de 5cm. entre un convertisseur et l’autre.
Il faut éviter d’utiliser un seul interrupteur général à 4 contacts, car la possible intervention anticipée du contact du neutre pendant la manævre et le
déséquilibre consécutif des phases pourraient causer la panne d’un ou plusieurs convertisseurs.
Los sistemas profesionales de iluminación de alta potencia por led son cada vez más comunes. Si se utilizan los transformadores de QLT en un sistema
trifásico deberían ser conectados como se indica abajo. Un sistema de iluminación típico se construye dividiendo los convertidores que se van a utilizar en
tres grupos con el mismo número de convertidores y cada grupo es controlado por un interruptor bipolar de manera que se protegen los componentes de
cualquier sobretensión. Solo utilizar convertidores con factor de potencia por encima de 0,85.
Siempre recuerde instalar los componentes en un lugar bien ventilado respetando una distancia mínima de 5m entre dispositivos.
Evite utilizar un interruptor principal tetrapolar, ya que la intervención antes de tiempo del contacto del neutro durante la operación y el consecuente
desequilibrio de las fases podían llevar a la destrucción de todos los transformadores instalados

Sempre più spesso si realizzano impianti con Led di grossa potenza.
Gli alimentatori QLT, se utilizzati in un impianto alimentato da una linea trifase, devono essere collegati fra loro come indicato sotto.
Un impianto ideale si realizza dividendo in tre gruppi di uguale numero di alimentatori, ognuno dei quali controllato da un interruttore bipolare, in modo da
proteggere i componenti da eventuali sovratensioni. Utilizzare solo alimentatori con fattore di potenza >=0,85.
Ricordarsi di installare sempre in luogo areato rispettando una distanza minima di 5 cm. fra gli apparecchi.
Evitare di utilizzare un solo interruttore generale a 4 contatti, poiché il possibile intervento anticipato del contatto del neutro durante la manovra e il
conseguente sbilanciamento delle fasi potrebbero portare al guasto di uno o più alimentatori.

Alimentatori LED - Istruzioni di utilizzo e di installazione
Gli alimentatori a corrente costante devono essere utilizzati unicamente per LED di potenza che abbiano la stessa corrente indicata sugli alimentatori.
Il numero massimo di LED da collegare all'alimentatore dipende dal tipo di LED utilizzato. La caduta di tensione tipica dei Led è di 3,2V@350mA e di
3,6V@700mA. In caso di utilizzo con Led di vecchia generazione ( con cadute di tensione di 3,6..4V), bisogna collegare un Led in meno rispetto al numero
indicato sull’ etichetta. La corrente di uscita deve essere misurata dopo 5 minuti dall’ accensione. Per proteggere i led da surriscaldamenti la corrente
diminuirà all’aumentare della temperatura fino a raggiungere il minimo in caso di temperatura massima. Questa caratteristica protegge i Led e la durata
dell’apparecchio nel tempo.
Gli alimentatori a tensione costante devono essere collegati a gruppi di LED che abbiano dei regolatori di corrente incorporati o delle resistenze in serie.
Rispettate la potenza massima del carico e le tensioni indicate. In caso di uso gravoso utilizzare a potenza intermedia .
Fare sempre attenzione alla polarità del secondario. Installare il sistema lontano da fonti di calore e in luoghi ben areati. Distanza minima dai LED: 10cm.
Protezione termica: se la temperatura supera i valori limite, l'alimentatore si disinserisce e dopo pochi secondi si autoripristina.
Evitare cortocircuiti sul lato secondario e togliere tensione prima di collegare tutti i LED al sistema. Non realizzare impianti dove l’interruttore è posto in
serie al secondario, perché le elevate correnti di spunto possono danneggiare i Led .
Collegamento dei LED: utilizzare sempre un cavo da 0,5 … 1,5 mm2 per una lunghezza massima di 10 m. e da 1,5mm2 per lunghezze superiori a 10m
(massimo 30m).
Cablaggio in entrata: utilizzare in entrata un cavo H03VVH2F 2x0,75 o un cavo adatto all’apparecchio.
USO GRAVOSO: per tutti i tipi di apparecchio utilizzare un carico inferiore del 10-20% a quello massimo indicato.
Controllare la temperatura massima di lavoro sul punto tc e verificare che venga rispettata alla massima temperatura ambiente prevista .
LED Drivers - Installation instructions
Drivers working in constant current must be used only with High Brightness LEDs that have the same current indicated on the driver itself. The max
number of LEDs that can be connected to the driver depends only on the kind of LEDs used. Typical voltage drop of leds is 3,2V@350mA and
3,6V@700mA. if “old generation” leds (voltage drop 3,6V÷4V) are used, connect them to a driver remembering that the maximum number of leds that can
be connected to the driver (usually written in the driver’s label) should be reduced by one led. The driver’s output current should be measured after 5
minutes from driver’s switching. The output current will decrease when the temperature increases (in order to protect leds from overheating) up to reaching
its minimum in case of maximum temperature. This feature protects leds and the product lifetime. Drivers working in constant voltage must be connected
to group of leds having built-in current regulators or resistences in series. Always respect the maximum load allowed and the correct voltages. In case of
extreme use, reduce power. Always pay attention to the polarity of the secundary cable. Put the system far from heat sources and in well aired places.
Minimum distance from leds: 10 cm
Thermal protection: if the temperature usually exceeds the limit values, the driver switches off and after a few seconds it switches on again.
Avoid short circuit on the secundary and give tension only after all LEDs have been connected. Do not make installations in which the switch is positioned
in series with the secondary, high currents (spikes) may damage leds.
LEDs connection: always use a 0,5÷1,5 mm2 cable for a maximum length of 10 m and a 1,5mm2 (or more) for lengths exceeding 10m (max 30m).
Input wiring: use a H03VVH2F 2x0,75 input cable or a suitable cable for the product.
IN CASE OF SEVERE USE: reduce the maximum rated load by 10÷20%. Always check ambient temperature and highest working temperature on Tc dot.
LED-Konverter - Installationsanweisungen
Die Konverter auf Konstantstrom müssen nur mit den High Brightness Leds verwendet werden, die den gleichen Stromswert als den im Aufschrift des
Konverters angegebenen Strom haben. Der max. LED-Anzahl, an den Konverter anzuschließen, hängt von dem verwendeten LED-Typ ab. Der
Spannungsabfall von Leds ist 3,2V@350mA und 3,6v@700mA. Wenn Leds “der alte Generation” verwendet sind, dann ist es nötig, immer ein LED
weniger als den auf dem Aufklebe angegebenen max. LED-Anzahl anschließen. Den Ausgangsstrom an dem Konverter immer nach 5 Minuten nach der
Einschaltung messen. Der Ausgangsstrom wird niedriger sein, wenn die Temperatur steigert und er wird den Mindestwert bei dem höchsten Temperatur
erreichen, um die Leds von Überhitzung zu schützen
Die Konverter auf Konstantspannung müssen immer mit Led-Gruppen durch eingebaute Stromsregler oder durch Reihenwiderständen angeschlossen
sein. Die angegebenen max. Belastung und Spannungswerten immer beachten.
Die Ausgangspolarität immer beachten. Das System entfernt von Wärmequellen und in einem belüftetem Raum einsetzen. Mindestabstand von Leds:
10cm.
Thermischer Schutz: falls die Temperatur im Gehäuse die Grenzwerte überschreitet, schaltet sich der Konverter ab und nach einigen Sekunden nochmal
wieder ein. - Kurzschlüsse auf der Sekundärseite vermeiden und beim Anschluss der LEDs Netzspannung wegzunehmen.
Keine Installation machen, wo der Schalter in Reihe auf der Sekundär ist, da die hohe Stromspitzen die Leds schäden könnten.
LED-Anschluss: immer 0,5..1,5mm2 Kabel mit einer max. Länge von 10mt verwenden. Für Länge vonmehr als 10m bis max.30m 1,5mm2 Kabel
verwenden. Eingangsverkabelung: H03VVH2F 2x0.75 Eingangskabel verwenden.
In Schwerbedingungen: eine niedrige Belastung (10-20%) als diese max. angegeben verwenden. Max. Betriebstemperatur auf tc Punkt immer prüfen.
Convertisseurs pour LED de puissance - Notices d'emploi et d'utilisation
Il faut utiliser les convertisseurs à courant constant uniquement pour les LED de puissance qui ont le même courant indiqué sur les convertisseurs. Le
nombre maximum de LED que nous pouvons connecter au convertisseur dépende de la typologie des LED à brancher. La chute de tension standard des
Led est de 3,2V@350mA et de 3,6V@700mA. Lorsqu’on utilise des Led de la vieille génération (avec des chutes de tension de 3,6..4V), il faut brancher
toujours une pièce en moins par rapport à la quantité indiquée sur l’étiquette. Le courant de sortie doit être relevé 5 minutes après l’allumage du système.
Le courant baisse lorsque la température augmente jusqu’au minimum en cas de température au maximum. Cette caractéristique protège les Led des
surchauffes ansi que la durée de vie de l’appareil.
Les convertisseurs à tension constante doivent toujours être connectés à des groupes de LED qui integrent un régulateur de courant ou bien des
résistences en série. Respecter toujours la puissance maximum et les tensions indiquées. Pour un usage lourd il faut utiliser les convertisseurs à
puissance intermédiaire.
Faire toujours la plus grande attention à respecter la polarité du secondaire. Installer le système dans des endroits bien aérés et bien éloigné des
sources de chaleur. La distance minimum entre le convertisseur et les LED doit être de 10 cm. au moins. Protection thermique: lorsque la température
dépasse la valeur limite, le convertisseur se déconnecte et, après quelques secondes, se rétabli automatiquement. Éviter les courts-circuits sur le
secondaire et débrancher toujours le système avant de brancher tous les modules LED. Ne pas brancher au secondaire un interrupteur en série, car les
hauts courants (pics) peuvent endommager les Led. Connexion des LED: pour une longueur maximum de l'installation de 10 mètres, utiliser des câbles
de 0.5 jusque 1,5mm2; pour une longueur de l'installation entre les 10 et les 30 mètres maximum, utiliser seulement le câble de 1.5 mm2. Câble à l'entrée:
utiliser H03VVH2F- 2 x 0.75 mm ou bien un câble approprié pour l’appareil. Pour un usage lourd il faut utiliser tous les types de convertisseur avec une
charge inférieure de 10÷20% à la charge maximum indiquée sur l’étiquette. Contrôler sur le point "Tc" la température maximum de travail.

Los alimentadores que trabajan a una corriente constante deben ser utilizados solo con los leds de alta potencia que tengan la misma corriente indicada
en el propio alimentador. El número máximo de leds que pueden ser conectados al alimentador depende solo del tipo de leds utilizado. La caida de
tensión típica de los leds es de 3,2V@350mA y 3,6V@700mA. Si utilizan los leds de antigua generación (caida de tensión 3,6V 4V) conectelos al
alimentador recordando que el número máximo de leds que pueden ser conectados a un alimentador (normalmente escrito en la pegatina de la fuente)
tiene que ser uno menos. La salida de corriente del alimentador tiene que ser medida después de 5 minutos de ser encendido. La corriente de salida
disminuirá cuando la temperatura aumente (para proteger los leds del calentamiento) hasta llegar al mínimo en caso de temperatura máxima. Esta
característica protege los leds y la vida del producto. Los alimentadores que trabajen a tensión constante tienen que ser conectados a un grupo de leds
que tengan reguladores de corriente o resistencias en serie. Respecte siempre la carga máxima permitida y las tensiones correctas. En caso de uso
extremo reduzca la potencia. Preste atención siempre a la polaridad del cable secundario. Ponga el sistema lejos de fuentes de calor y en lugares bien
aireados. La distancia mínima de los leds es de 10cms.
Protección térmica: Si la temperatura excede de los límites de manera habitual el alimentador se desconecta y después de unos segundos vuelve a
encenderse. Evite cortocircuitos en el secundario y dele tensión solo después de que todos los leds hayan sido conectados. No haga instalaciones en las
que el interruptor esté colocado en serie con el secundario, corrientes altas (picos) pueden dañar los leds.
Conexión Leds: siempre utilice un cable de 0,5-1,5mm2 para una longitud máxima de 10m y un cable de 1,5mm2 (o más) para longitudes mayores de 10m
(máximo 30m). Cables de entrada: utilice un cable de entrada H03VVH2F 2X0,75 o un cable apropiado para el producto.
EN CASO DE USO GRAVOSO: reduzca la carga máxima un 10-20%. Compruebe siempre la temperatura ambiente y la máxima temperatura de
trabajo en el punto Tc.
