Objec)ves Installa0on of EUROCONTROL’s GBAS MMR into an experimental aircraD, its integra0on into the aircraD systems to be able to provide guidance output to the pilot, provision of ini0al flight data using the GBAS system and the evalua0on of these data. •

Approaches Performed Two days of flight trials were performed during GIFTAS project: 23/01/2006 and 24/01/2006. –  First day 31 approaches were flown (final track distances between 2 and 7 NM from THR) –  Second day 20 approaches were flown (final track distances between 3 and 12 NM from THR) 23-­‐01-­‐2006: 31 approaches 24-­‐01-­‐2006: 20 approaches -­‐ Ejemplos GBAS y SBAS -­‐ DFS Ground Sta4on in Frankfurt Uso prác4co de sistemas GNSS -­‐ Aplicaciones en el sector de la aviación OPTIMAL Málaga (GBAS) • 
Objec)ves Evalua0on of the Honeywell GBAS sta0on installed in Malaga, as well as the evalua0on of the data collected during some flight trials by the receivers on-­‐board the aircraD, and their comparison with the Frankfurt ground sta0on performance. This work was part of the EUROCONTROL’s contribu0on to the OPTIMAL project, which is an air-­‐
ground coopera0ve program that is aiming to define and validate innova0ve approach and landing procedures for fixed and rotary wing aircraD in a preopera0onal environment. • 
Tasks The following tasks were performed: •  Revision of the available input data provided by AENA. •  Evalua2on of the data, similar to the analysis performed within GIFTAS project •  Inves0ga0on of the: pseudorange errors, performance of the Thales Monitor system as compared to PEGASUS performance, NSE and genera0on of Protec2on Levels. Objec)ves Performance evalua0on of the Honeywell GBAS Ground Sta0on installed in Malaga, using the data collected during the flight trials performed by AENA on March 2012. This work was part of GBAS Ground Sta0on performance valida0on in accordance with current standards included in ICAO SARPs and in EUROCAE MOPS for GBAS CAT-­‐I sta0ons. • 
Tasks The following tasks were performed: •  Revision of the available input data provided by AENA. •  Evalua2on of the data •  Analysis of the following features: transmission ra2o, integrity, con2nuity, availability, precision, service coverage, field strength, NSE, FTE and TSE.
