25 Year Limited Warranty
Masco Builder Cabinet Group warrants to the original
consumer purchaser that our Merillat Classic® cabinetry
will be free from defects in material and workmanship under
normal use for a period of TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEARS from date of
purchase. This warranty is not transferable. No changes or
modifications can be made to this warranty except by an officer
of Masco Builder Cabinet Group.
As with other natural materials, wood is affected by environmental
factors such as natural and artificial lighting. Darkening or
mellowing of the wood can be expected and is a natural
process of wood as it ages. Each wood specie also exhibits its
own distinctive patterns and characteristics which add to its
natural beauty. These variations in color and characteristics
are not considered imperfections or defects. This warranty
does not cover the natural aging and darkening of wood color nor
does it apply to the inherent growth characteristic of wood.
We further provide a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY to the original
purchaser on the door hinges and drawer glides for as long as you
own the product. This LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY provides that the
door hinges and drawer glides will be free from defects in material
and workmanship under normal use. Replacement hinges and
drawer glides are subject to their availability from our suppliers.
Masco Builder Cabinet Group may elect to repair or replace any
defective Merillat product covered by our warranty. Our warranty
does not cover defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence,
alterations, environmental conditions, improper installation,
storage and handling, nor any labor expenses.
From time to time, we will change design, specifications and
materials as conditions require and improvements are developed,
but we have no obligation to incorporate such changes in
products we previously manufactured.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION
OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. Some provinces and some states
do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES. Some provinces and some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state and from province
to province.
To obtain performance under this warranty, you must contact
the Merillat supplier and report, in writing, all defects claimed
and provide the original sales receipt or other documentation
acceptable to Masco Builder Cabinet Group. If you have

Masco Builder Cabinet Group garantiza al consumidor comprador que
nuestra ebanistería Merillat Classic® estará libre de defectos en material
y artesanía conforme al uso normal por el periodo de VEINTICINCO (25)
AÑOS desde la fecha de compra. Esta garantía no es transferible. La
garantía no se puede cambiar o modificar a no ser por un oficial de
Masco Builder Cabinet Group.
Al igual que con materiales naturales, la madera es afectada por
factores ambientales como luz natural o artificial. Se espera que
la madera obscurezca o envejezca por ser el proceso natural de
madera con edad. Cada especie de madera también exhibe sus
propios patrones y características distintivas que añaden a su belleza
natural. Estas variaciones en color y características no se consideran
imperfecciones ni defectos. Esta garantía no cubre el envejecimiento ni
el obscurecimiento natural de la madera ni aplica a las características
inherentes de crecimiento de la madera.
Además proveímos una GARANTÍA LIMITADA PERMANENTE al comprador
original de la bisagra y la herramienta del cajón mientras es dueño del
producto. Esta GARANTÍA LIMITADA PERMANENTE provee que las bisagras y
las herramientas del cajón estarán libres de defectos en material y
en artesanía conforme al uso normal. Reemplazo de las bisagras y
las herramientas del cajón se supeditan a la disponibilidad de
nuestros distribuidores.
Masco Builder Cabinet Group puede elegir reparar o reemplazar
cualquier producto Merillat defectivo al amparo de nuestra garantía.
Nuestra garantía no cubre defectos causados por el mal uso, abuso,
negligencia, modificaciones, condiciones ambientales, instalación
inadecuada, almacenaje y manejo, ni cualquier gasto laboral.
De vez en cuando, cambiaremos el diseño, especificaciones y
materiales como requieran las condiciones y avances se desarrollen,
pero no tenemos obligación de incorporar tales cambios en productos
manufacturados previamente.
HASTA EL PUNTO QUE LO PERMITA LA LEY, CUALQUIER GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA,
INCLUYENDO GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD Y DE ADECUACIÓN
PARA UN PROPÓSITO EN PARTICULAR, ESTÁN LIMITADAS A LA DURACIÓN
DE ESTA GARANTÍA EXPRESA. Algunas provincias y algunos estados
no permiten las limitaciones en cuanto a la duración de la validez de
una garantía implícita, así que las limitaciones o exclusiones anteriores
