PRACTISE PROFILE.
EBV Architects is an architectural practice founded by Fabrizio Barozzi (Trento, Italy,
1976) and Alberto Veiga (Santiago, Spain, 1973) devoted to architecture, urbanism and
interior design for both public and private sectors.
The experience accumulated from the collaboration for years with reknown architects
has allowed setting up a professional practice of high calibre, where architectural
investigation plays a leading role.
EBV Architects has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions.
projects that stand out for their singularity including the Auditorium and Congress Hall
of Águilas (Murcia), the Rehabilitation of Santa Clara in the historic city centre of Úbeda
(Andalucia) and the Headquarters of Ribera del Duero wine ruling board in Roa (Burgos).
BIOGRAPHY.
Fabrizio Barozzi,
Rovereto, Trento, Italy, was born in 1976 and studied architecture at the “Istituto
Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, IUAV”, “Escuela Tecnica Superior de
Arquitectura de Sevilla” and the “Ecole d’Architecture de Paris La Villette”.
Having graduated from the IUAV in 2003, studying under Bernardo Secchi, he worked as
collaborator at the practice of Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra, where he was involved in a
number of significant arts and cultural projects.
In 2004 he established EBV Architects with Alberto Veiga.
Alberto Veiga,
Santiago de Compostela, Spain, was born in 1973 and studied architecture at the “ETSA
de Navarra”.
After graduating he worked as assistant and as project architect at the practice of Patxi
Mangado in 1997-2001. From 2001-03 he worked as project architect for Guillermo
Vázquez Consuegra where he worked on a number of award winning buildings.
In 2004 he established EBV Architects with Fabrizio Barozzi.
