I
hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We are sure that 2009 will prove to be an interesting and exciting New Year for you and The Registry Collection®.
Like you, all of us at The Registry Collection program have been closely following the events
surrounding the credit markets, consumer confidence and the hope for recovery. It has
required all of us to reevaluate our business models and strategic plans while at the same
time focusing on our core strengths. Our more than 32,000 global members stand ready to visit your resorts via their exchange benefits and may be a valuable source of lead generation.
Many Collection executives have been invited to speak or participate on panels at Fractional
focused conferences around the world. I invite you to attend one of these educationally
enriched events and network with other developers as well as existing Collection affiliates
and employees. Now more than ever is the time to share best practices. Our worldwide
conference involvement includes such targeted industry shows as the Ragatz Fractional
Interest Conference, the American Resort Development Association Conference in Orlando,
FL, the Fractional Life Conference in London, the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Investment
Conference in Bermuda, the Luxury Markets Symposium in Mexico City and more. Our goal is not only to further enhance our
brand recognition but also to meet more affiliates like you to add to our list of affiliated properties.
Already underway are new resort affiliations in South Africa, France, Aruba, Tunisia, Mexico, Brazil and Belize, among others.
Additionally, we have added inventory in Hawaii and Florida through our relationships with the Wyndham Vacation Resorts
Presidential Reserve program and Disney Vacation Club. As you can see, we have been busy growing The Registry Collection
program and we are proud to announce that we have surpassed the mark of 135 affiliate partners like yourself. While other
companies are cutting back on service, we are dedicating additional account personnel to support our affiliates. I am proud
of our team and their efforts to go the extra mile.

ith more than 17 years in the tourism industry, Ana Laura Acevedo has a breadth of experience to share. Having held
numerous positions from American Express Travel Agency Manager
to Executive Director of the Hotel and Tourism Association, Ana is a
seasoned industry veteran.

Q:What are The Registry Collection credit values based on?
A: The number of credits assigned for an interval is based

on many factors — including the level of demand for the week
deposited, as well as the popularity of the season; the quality
of the resort and the amenities offered; and the size and type
of accommodations.
Q: What happens when a member cancels his or her reservation through The Registry Collection program?
A: If a member or guest cancels by the end of the next business day following the date the reservation was made, there
is no forfeiture of transaction fees or The Registry Collection credits. After that time, the following policy applies:
If a member or guest cancels a reservation thirty (30) days or more prior to the start date, $75 USD of the original
transaction fee will be forfeited, the remainder of the fee will be refunded, and The Registry Collection credits will be fully returned to the member.
