“-A mother helps her children to grow and wants them to grow well; for this she educates them not to fall
into laziness – which derives from a certain well-being – not to settle into a comfortable life that contents
itself only with having things. The mother cares for the children so that they grow more, they grow strong,
able to take responsibility, to commit themselves in life, to pursue grand ideals.
-A mother also thinks of her children’s health when she educates them to face the problem of life. She does
not educate them, she does not care for their health by allowing them to avoid problems, as life were a
highway without obstacles. The mother helps her children to look upon life’s problems with realism and to
not get lost in them, but to face them with courage, not to be weak, and to know how to overcome them
with a sane balance that a mother “senses” between areas of safety and those of risk. And a mother knows how to do this! She
does not always let her child take the easy, safe way because in this way the child cannot grow, but neither does she leave the
child on the road of risk since it is dangerous. A mother knows how to balance things. A life without challenges does not exist, and
a boy or girl who does not know how to deal with them is a boy or girl without a spine!
-A good mother does not only accompany her children as they grow, not avoiding the problems, the challenges of life; a good
mother also helps us to make definitive decisions freely. This is not easy but a mother knows how to do it. But what is freedom? It is
certainly not doing whatever you want, letting yourself be dominated by your passions, passing from one experience to the next
without discernment, following the fashions of the time; freedom does not mean, so to speak, throwing everything you do not like
out the window. No, that is not freedom! Freedom is given to us so that we know how to make good choices in life! “

lives. Sweet and Blessed Mother, guide our
mothers that they too may lead us to Your Son,
just as you show us. May they imitate your love
and devotion. May we in return also be loving,
patient, understanding and supportive to our

During this week we prepare ourselves to the
coming of the Holy Spirit through prayers.

forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And
You shall renew the face of the earth.

Jesus Christ, the head of the Church, precedes us
into the Father's glorious kingdom so that we, the
members of his Body, may live in the hope of one day
being with him forever.

CIC 665 La ascensión de Jesucristo
marca la entrada definitiva de la
humanidad de Jesús en el
dominio celeste de Dios de
donde ha de volver (cf. Hch 1, 11),
aunque mientras tanto lo
esconde a los ojos de los hombres
(cf. Col 3, 3).
Jesucristo, cabeza de la
Iglesia, nos precede en el Reino
glorioso del Padre para que
nosotros, miembros de su
cuerpo, vivamos en la
esperanza de estar un día con Él eternamente.
CIC 667 Jesucristo, habiendo entrado una vez por todas
en el santuario del cielo, intercede sin cesar por
nosotros como el mediador que nos asegura
permanentemente la efusión del Espíritu Santo.

La Virgen Peregrina de Zapopan llegara al
Santo Rosario el día 11 de junio a las 5:00 P.M. y el día 12 de
junio tendremos la santa misa a las 8:00 A.M. con la
participación de los niños de la escuela parroquial. A las 4:30
P.M. de ese mismo día saldrá a la Misión de Nuestra Señora de
Zapopan donde tendremos la recitación del santo Rosario
junto con la celebración Eucarística. Después de la santa misa
despediremos a nuestra Madre Santísima.

CATECISMO DE VERANO
Vigilia de
Pentecostés
Este programa esta diseñado para jóvenes de 14 a 17
años de edad que no han recibido el sacramento de la
primera comunión. Los interesados las inscripciones
comienzan el día 1 junio en la oficina parroquial. El
cupo es limitado. Las clases comenzaran el día 1 de
julio y terminan el 1 de agosto. Las clase son de lunes
a jueves de 6:30 a 8:30 P.M. Al terminar el curso los
estudiantes que participaron y siguieron las normas debidas recibirán el Sacramento de la Primera Comunión
el día 4 de agosto. Para inscribirse al programa debe
presentar el acta de bautizo original, la cuota de inscripción de $125.00 el cual incluye cuaderno de trabajo
y biblia.

inicia a las 6:30 P.M.
en el auditorio.
Habrá oración y celebración de la
Santa Misa.

Cada domingo el Señor
Jesús te espera en la Misa porque quiere

“-Una mamá ayuda a sus hijos a crecer y quiere que crezcan bien; por eso los educa para que no se dejen
llevar por la pereza –a veces fruto de un cierto bienestar–, para que no cedan a una vida cómoda que se
conforma sólo con tener cosas. La mamá se preocupa de que sus hijos sigan creciendo más, crezcan fuertes,
capaces de asumir responsabilidades y compromisos en la vida, de proponerse grandes ideales.
-Una mamá además se ocupa de la salud de los hijos educándolos para que afronten las dificultades de la
vida. No se educa, no se cuida la salud evitando los problemas, como si la vida fuese un camino sin obstáculos. La mamá ayuda a sus hijos a ver con realismo los problemas de la vida y a no venirse abajo, sino
a afrontarlos con valentía, a no ser flojos, a superarlos, conjugando adecuadamente la seguridad y el riesgo, que una madre sabe “intuir”. Y esto una mamá sabe hacerlo. Non lleva al hijo sólo por el camino seguro, porque de esa manera el hijo no puede crecer, pero tampoco lo abandona siempre en el camino peligroso, porqué es arriesgado. Una mamá sabe
sopesar las cosas. Una vida sin desafíos no existe y un chico o una joven que no sabe afrontarlos poniendo en juego su propia
vida, es un chico o una joven sin consistencia.
-Un último aspecto: una buena mamá no sólo sigue de cerca el crecimiento de sus hijos sin evitar los problemas, los retos de la vida; una buena mamá ayuda también a tomar decisiones definitivas con libertad. Esto no es fácil, pero una mamá sabe hacerlo. Pero, ¿qué quiere decir ‘libertad’? No se trata ciertamente de hacer siempre lo que uno quiere, dejarse dominar por las pasiones, pasar de una cosa a otra sin discernimiento, seguir la moda del momento; libertad no significa prescindir sin más de lo que a
uno no le gusta. No, ¡eso no es libertad! ¡La libertad es un don para que sepamos elegir bien en la vida!”
