BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG
This weekend, Miracle House will be collecting the baby bottles in the designated area in
the back of the church. With your help, women with unplanned pregnancies can be
encouraged to carry their babies to term and to plan productively for their future and the
future of their unborn babies. Please help these mother chose life and remember to keep
Miracle House in your prayers. Thank you for your generosity.

HOPE AFTER ABORTION
Experience the healing love of Jesus Christ during a Rachel’s Vineyard healing retreat. This retreat
offers an opportunity to deeply enter into the grieving process and identify the ways your abortion(s)
may have affected you or a loved one. Discussions, spiritual exercises, prayer and reflection combined
with the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a Memorial Service honoring your child and a beautiful Mass,
will help to heal the wounds of your past. Participation is strictly confidential and offers a beautiful
opportunity to experience God’s love, forgiveness and tender compassion. Both men and women are
invited to experience this healing for their soul. This healing program is an apostolate of the Catholic
Charities Office of Respect Life of the Diocese of Palm Beach; however, those from other faith backgrounds are welcome to attend.
The retreat begins on Friday, April 25 thru Sunday, April 27, 2014.
It will be held at Casa San Carlos Retreat Center, in Delray Beach.

our 27th Annual Religious Appreciation Dinner. This is your

Carmelite Spirituality Workshop
This workshop is hosted by the Carmelite Communities of South Florida and will be held at the Gathering
Place at St. Jude in Boca Raton on March 22. The presenter is Carmelite Fr. Jack Welch, who taught
Carmelite Studies at Washington Theological Union for more than 20 years. The workshop will focus on the
spirituality taught by St. John of the Cross and is designed for those interested in deepening personal
relationships with God. This workshop will be held from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Cost is $30, includes lunch and

looking at placing a portable (class room size)
on the grounds of St. Ignatius Loyola for our

$142,895.00 has been pledged from 349
families getting us to 57% our goal of $250,000. This is a
wonderful example of your stewardship and your
willingness to reach out to others. If you have not had the

GRIEF & LOSS
SUPPORT GROUP
St. Ignatius Cathedral has begun a grief
and loss support group with the next
meeting taking place on March 18th at
10 a.m. in the Parish Hall.
The purpose of the group is to offer
support to persons who are experiencing symptoms of grief due
to a recent loss. In general the group will be held weekly for
6-8 weeks. The group is open to men and women. The
meetings will be on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. -11 a.m. in the
Parish Hall. For more information call the Parish Office.

to go to a Catholic Camp or Youth
Conference comes up and Many times
they need financial support to be able
to participate. Our Parishioners have
been very generous to support Our
teens in the past, it is that time again
that I let you know, we are in need
once more. Cost of transportation,
lodging and camp/conference itself
generally run between $500 - $650
dollars, we do fundraise, but at times
need a bit more. If you would like to

El sacramento de la reconciliación (confesión)

SACRAMENTOS
• La preparación a los sacramentos es seria y esperamos que
ustedes también la tomen con seriedad y entusiasmo.
Aprender a vivir la fe cristiana no se hace en unos pocos
meses. Recuerden que no nos preparamos sólo para recibir un
sacramento, sino para vivir de acuerdo al ejemplo de Jesús.
Los sacramentos nos ayudan, fortalecen y guían en el camino
de la vida cristiana.
• Para recibir los sacramentos del bautismo, eucaristía,
confirmación tiene que estar inscrito como miembro de la
parroquia al menos tres meses antes.
• La diócesis de Palm Beach pide 2 años de preparación para
recibir la primera comunión y también para la confirmación.
• Para el sacramento del matrimonio además han de venir con
6 meses de anticipación a la fecha prevista.
• Vocaciones: Si un joven o señorita está interesado en entrar
al seminario o un convento para servir a Jesús en la vida
religiosa o consagrada por favor hable con el sacerdote,
el diácono Jaime o diácono Miguel. Y no se olviden todos de
rezar por el aumento de vocaciones sacerdotales y religiosas.
