Bergfest Impressionen
Am Bergfest unseres IFM Camps, dem Tag,
der unser Zeltlager in genau zwei Hälften
teilt, fanden den ganzen Tag über viele
verschiedene Aktivitäten statt: Es waren
Altfalken und Interessierte zum Tag der
offenen Tür eingeladen; auf einem roten
Rummel hatten die Delegationen die Gelegenheit sich und ihre Organisationen zu
präsentieren; das Bühnenprogramm gab
Raum für selbstorganisierte Beiträge und
zwei Konzerte am Abend luden zum Tanzen und Feiern ein. ◆ During the „Bergfest“, the day which marks the half-way
point of our IFM Camp, lots of different activities took place; older comrades of the
Falken as well anybody interested in the
camp were invited; there was a Red Fair
where delegations had the
chance to present themselves and their organisations;
the programme on stage
left room for self-organised contributions and two
concerts in the evening invited participants to dance
and to party. ◆ Durante el

la mitad de nuestro campamento de IFM-SEI, se llevó
a cabo una gran cantidad de actividades.

Press conference
Positive reaction on a big culture-mixed camp
The open day showed that both organicers and participants from different
countries are surprised how well the
camp is working out. At a press conference on the camp the participant Mia
Jul from the Danish organization DUI
– Leg og Virke, Sylvia Campos an organizer from Mirim Brazil and two organizers from Die Falken Immi Benz and
Josi Tischner discussed what works at
the camp, as well as what can be made
even better, and what challenges exist
to make a camp like this work.
Sylvia Campos started out by explaining that they started planning the
camp two years ago, and now the most
surprising thing is to see that so many
people from so many different cultures
and countries seem happy together.
She is glad to see that the big mixture
of cultures is working out even though
it could be very difficult. Mia Jul also
think it is nice to see how people from
different cultures with different languages can make things work and socialize with each other. She explained
this by using an example. If someone
comes over and asks someone if they
could join their card game, people let
you join. Generally, she believes participants are very open-minded and
want to meet new people and learn
languages.
The organizers from Die Falken also
feel the camp is working well. They
especially think the Town Cafes and
the workshops are a good concept and
very successful. Immi Benz said that it
is very good that there are activities for
a wide range of people, of every age.
He came to the conclusion that all these good things are making the camp
significant for the community. He
said: “We chose the name „Welcome
to another world“ for a reason – for a
very good reason. Because in our every
day it seems like people cannot change things, people should just look out
look for themselves. But here at this
camp we prove that this is wrong. We
show that there is an alternative.“

Dear friends,
The Noar Haoved ve Halomed (studying and working) youth movement
is a movement that contains people
from various cultures. The movement
integrated the values within the youth
and spreads them in the society in order to make the world a better place.
The youth movement is an integral
part in the informal education system.
The movement makes sure the youth
learns and cooperates and fights for
their rights, for example their rights
in the workplace etc. In addition, the
movement builds seminars to develop
leadership skills, summer camps and
contribution to society such as volunteering. For every boy and girl who
reads the news nowadays we can
emphasize the contribution we have
on our everyday lives and make our

Aktionstag * Action Day * Día de acción
the town wall. At 4 p.m., we will meet
again for closing speeches with the
Mayor of Nuremberg.
It will be a huge organisational effort
to get the whole camp to Nuremberg.
This is why wednesday will start early
for some groups in order to catch the
bus. It is extremely important that all
towns and villages are on time at the
meeting point near the registration
place and where the play buses are
parked. All groups will get packed lunches delivered with their breakfast as
well as fruit and drinks. Those groups
who will leave first in
the morning can take
their breakfast with
them to eat in Nuremberg whilst waiting for the rest of the
camp to arrive in the
city.
At 16:45 towns will
start to return to the
camp, leaving from
the meeting point at
Königstorgraben. For
detailed information
about what to bring
and when to meet with your group for
getting to the meeting points, ask your
group helpers.
Día de acción
El miércoles es nuestro gran día de acción! Juntos vamos a ir a Nuremberg
para hacer que nuestras ideas y de-
mandas por otro mundo sean oídas
en una manifestación que comenzará
allí a las 11h. Posteriormente, a las 12h,
vamos a divertirnos juntos en una fiesta en la calle y vamos a presentarnos
a nosotros y nuestro campamento.
También puedes descubrir Nuremberg

Am Mittwoch ist unser großer Aktionstag! Zusammen fahren wir nach
Nürnberg, um dort ab 11 Uhr auf einer
Demonstration unseren Ideen und Forderungen für eine andere Welt Gehör
zu verschaffen. Danach wollen wir ab
12 Uhr bei einem großen Straßenfest
viel Spaß haben und uns und das ganze Camp der Stadt präsentieren. Ihr
könnt bei einer Stadtrallye Nürnberg
erkunden oder beim Falkenturm auf
der alten Stadtmauer entspannen. Um
16 Uhr treffen wir uns wieder auf dem
Platz vom Straßenfest zur Abschlusskundgebung.
Um das gesamte
Camp nach Nürnberg zu bekommen, braucht es
einigen
organisatorischen Aufwand und enge
Abläufe.
Mittwochmorgen geht
es darum für einige Gruppen schon
früh mit dem Bus
los. Es ist wichtig,
dass sich die Städte und Dörfer geschlossen und pünktlich zu den jeweiligen Zeiten südlich
der Spielmobil-Wiese in der Nähe der
Hauptanmeldung zur Abfahrt treffen.
Alle Gruppen bekommen Essen für
Lunchpakete, fürs Mittagessen sowie
Obst und Getränke. Die Gruppen, die
morgens als erstes fahren, können
auch ihr Frühstück mitnehmen und
bei Ankunft in Nürnberg in Ruhe picknicken bis alle Gruppen eingetroffen
sind.
Ab 16:45 Uhr geht es dann für die Städte ab dem Treffpunkt Königstorgraben
nacheinander wieder zurück. Für detaillierte Infos, was ihr mitbringen solltet und wann ihr euch in euren Gruppen trefft, fragt eure Helferinnen und
Helfer.

order to make our ideas and demands
for another world heard in a demonstration that will start there at 11 am.
Afterwards, at 12 midday, we want to
have fun together at a street party and
present ourselves and our camp. You

Nachtrag: Camp Parlament
Bei der ersten Sitzung des Camp Parlaments am Donnerstag wurde ausführlich über die Verpflegung auf dem
Camp gesprochen. Die beiden Vertreter der Küche haben viele Anmerkungen aus den Städten zurück in ihr Team
getragen. Vieles davon soll nun im Rahmen der finanziellen und logistischen
Möglichkeiten umgesetzt werden. So
gibt es jetzt eine Obststation an der
groflen Küche, an der man sich tagsüber mit frischen Obst versorgen kann.
Auflerdem wird verstärkt versucht, das
Angebot insbesondere beim Abendessen zu erweitern, z.B. durch mehr warme Specials.
Die Delegierten schlossen bei der
fortgesetzten Sitzung außerdem die
Diskussion um die Beschilderung der
Toiletten und Duschen ab. Ab sofort
sollen nun also alle Waschräume auf
der linken Seite für Frauen vorgesehen sein. Die vordere Rechte Seite ist
für alle Geschlechter zugänglich, die
rechte hintere Seite für alle M‰nner.
Die entsprechende Beschilderung ist
bereits angebracht.
Ein von der grünen Stadt eingebrachter Antrag forderte außerdem die Verkürzung der Sicherheitsschichten, was
jedoch mehrheitlich abgelehnt wurde.
Unterstützt wurde hingegen die Entscheidung, dass die Einweisung für
den Sicherheitsdienst von nun an im-
mer direkt vor dem Beginn der jeweiligen Schicht stattfinden soll.
News from Camp Parliament
At the first meeting of the camp parliament on Thursday, the food on camp
was discussed extensively. Both representatives from the kitchen have taken
many remarks from the towns back to
their team. Many of the decisions are
now being implemented, within the
set of financial and logistical constraints. There is now a fruit station at
the big kitchen which provides fresh
fruit during the day. It also aims to
expand the options available, especially at dinner, for example with more
warm food on offer.
Delegates also completed the discussion about the signs for the toilets
and showers. Immediately after the
meeting, signs were put up to provide toilets for all women, women and
trans, all genders, all men, men and
trans. The sign-posting is already attached.
One delegate from Green Town proposed a motion that suggested the
reduction of security measures but it
was rejected by the majority. However the decision that the briefing for
the security service should always take
place at the beginning of the shift from
now on was supported.

Demonstration of the Day: Pride Parade
During the Open Day there was a Pride
Parade around camp to show that the
LGBTIQ community is strong, loud and
wonderful and that they are the ones
who are making this world a more colourful place. “We want to see a world
where everyone can be who they are,
where it doesn’t matter who you love
and what gender you are”, said their
speech.

Wenn ihr Schäden an den Karren entdeckt, mit denen ihr eurer Essen von
der Küche in eure Dörfer transportiert,
könnt ihr diese ab sofort zur Reparatur
in die Werkstatt bei den Waschräumen
bringen.

Green Campfire has had two banners
stolen from their gate. They both held
the logo: ‘Free Palestine’. They do not
believe they have been victim of straightforward property theft but in fact
have been attacked for standing up
for the rights of an oppressed people
struggling after decades of military
occupation.It is a terrible shame that
when we are building another World
some still ignore democracy and the
power of argument and resort to theft
to express their prejudice.

Dos banderas han sido robadas de la
puerta de Green Campfire. Las dos
decían ”Palestina libre”. La gente del
pueblo no creen que han sido víctimas de un simple robo de propiedad,
pero que de hecho han sido atacados
por defender los derechos de un pueblo oprimido que sigue luchando después de décadas de ocupación militar.
Es una verdadera lástima que cuando
estamos construyendo otro mundo algunos todavía ignoran la democracia y
el poder del diálogo y recurren al robo
para expresar su perjuicio.
