The following are some tips to keep in mind when including information on your website, in emails to your fellow teachers or via social media: UTILIZE MARATHON KIDS LANGUAGE School Champions: School Champions are the adults who are in charge of implementing the Marathon Kids 26.2 Mile Challenge at their school. The majority of School Champions are Physical Education teachers, but classroom teachers, other faculty members and parents can all assume this role if necessary. Parent Champions: Marathon Kids has created a new role for parents to become a more active part of program implementation and to assist the School Champion at their school. District Leaders: District Leaders are often Health and PE Coordinators or Administrators. Many of them were (or are) PE teachers themselves. They are our district-wide advocates and are with us each step of the way. 26.2 Mile Challenge: It is important to note that the Marathon Kids program, the 26.2 Mile Challenge, is part of the greater organization, Marathon Kids.
